Mula-mula aku nak buat entry lawak bangang sebangang nyanyian Haziq, Amirul dan Lotter @ The Three Stooges. Tapi selepas the two episodes of the Diari, aku rasa nak gak wat entry molot poaka. Aku ada beberapa soalan tuk korang fikirkan... tuk renungkan. Semalam punya Diari, kesinambungan dari the whole week really, is the culmination of the 'telenovela Teman Tapi Mesra'. Tolonglah... dah ler nyampah because adakah agenda Akademi ni tuk focuskan pada percintaan? Ada kah keputusan undian awam yang sememangnya akan lebih pada cita seolah tuh perlu nak di engineered kan oleh pihak Astro? That is just so lame... no wonder ler kena kutuk camna pun sebab serap Leez, Astro tetap maintain mungkin kehadiran Leez akan 'menghidupkan' Akademi. Bak cita cinta kononnya. Well, senang je. Kalau betul ler cinta cinta pelbagai tuh... kenapa Astro tak bagitau orang awam yang si Leez ni dah berpunya, da ada teman laki? Bukan ke Leez ni 'mesra' ngan Boy dari Esdeco...? Alah... group Adam yang tak jadik tuh. Pepandai lak ek nak guide skrip sepanjang minggu. Kalau ada yang nak katakan benda tuh tak skrip kan, meka terpaksa ngaku benda ni sedikit sebanyak telah di guide kan direction ngan pelbagai trigger. Cuba tengok masa Dr Eveready cakap ngan Haziq tuh tanya pasai Leez. Not guided? Seriously. People seem to have forgotten what Akademi Fantasia was initially all about. Contoh, Diari ari ni, kedua laporan. Berapa banyak tunjukkan bebudak ni berlatih atau perform. I have no idea apa prestasi meka selepas minggu yang bercelaru dan kelam kabut sebab nothing was shown tonight. 90% fokus pada cita cinta ampeh tuh! Adakah ni digambarkan as entertaining? Programming da kebulur ek nak rating sampai wat gimik buruk camni. Jangan ler terkejut kalao minggu ni, dalam konsert esok, kerana ada ler yang suka cita-cita cinta buatan ni, ada lak yang akan perjuangkan idea membuat kejutan dan serapkan Leez dalam Akademi. Picture this possibility. Tiada penyingkiran esok, Leez diserapkan. Ini konsert ketujuh. Two more weeks to go to the final, singkir dua agik and they have top five. Singkir lebih ke kurang ke... janji they're playing with more or less the same figure for the final. Sebab the final will be anything from a minimum of three people (nak wat duit ma... so takleh ler kurang orang sangat) to a maximum of six (ramai sangat pecah undi tak untung lak SMS) Paling tidak, kalau itu tidak berlaku, orang tak nyampah sangat si Haziq tuh kan... ada ler harapan ler contestant laki dari Semenanjung selain Faizal kan? Sebab kalao stakat Lotter dan Amirul, dominasi peserta laki dari Semenanjung tergugat because the numbers are too even and we all know AFUNDI dari East Malaysia is bigger. Bangap ler... Bukan nitik beratkan sapa kuar tuh talented ke tak. It all ends up to hype. And what happens? Sheesh... Cita cinta? Setakat ni memacam pasangan Akademi Fantasia meka cuba create and only Rosma and Khai yang jadi. Look at Felix dan Akma. Dah takder pun, tetap masa konsert mingguan meka nak kenenkan. Cmon ler... selain menjadikan bebudak tu reluctant participants, you are cheating the audience. You are creating this huge lie, just cause nak untung. Selepas meroyan... tarik nafas... aku tetap geram. Dahler. Aku mintak kalau esok, Velvet jadi mangsa, biar Farhan ikut sekali. Puaskan Astro dapat duit kaya-kaya, tapi hasil result yang kuar the three stooges. Kita tunggu dan lihat nama Akademi Fantasia masa tu. What a joke. I don't believe the whole two episodes of Diari ari ni tak focus singing or performance but more to every other non-important element. Hasilnya? Kita dapat tengok betapa hebatnya Faizal lepas satu minggu baru dapat satu ayat in English. Woo-hoo!!! What joy! What an achievement! What a cause for celebration! Isn't it great we get to see Lotter dapat sebut perkataan ngan huruf R di mana Faizal masih terlebih. Meluat aku ngan airmata yang di provoke tu get a feel of the couple konon meka ni item, from kelas Umi punya performance, to Fazley's pesanan segment. Ridiculous. The only thing worth watching for two seconds was seeing the whole Akademi LOOKING FOR PUSSY! (bab ni obvious ler si Haziq palin rajin, and definitely not the most subtle - sempat gelak dalam tension) The fun was over when it turned to be Cat Farish sebagai tamu. Selain cita cinta dua ekor ni, daripada Diari beberapa ari ni, as well as today, I think they're trying to show Faizal as the third person. Konon cinta tiga segi Leez minat Pejal, tapi Haziq minat Leez ler. Hurmphh!!! Scene dramatic Faizal kena pegang tangan Leez memang ler dia takleh feel. Kan Faizal sendiri cakap.... dia tak biasa ngan pompuang! Merasalah sesuatu tahap cipan. Che ki gersang je akan pecaya dia ni dinch adik-adik. So many scenes showing how great the Akademi is working on the kids. Contoh bab etiquette. Lotter time makan molot penoh tersumbat pun cakap ngan camera. That's as refined as he gets, ok. Nyampah... nyampah... nyampah... Tatau ler camna meka perform esok... ker horror sangat sampai editing terpaksa wat cita ni takut orang nyampah tanak tengok konsert. Tell me when meka tak penah tunjuk evaluation session time ari Jumaat. Dahler.... The only good thing I can say is Lotter carut pun leh tahan. Suka lak time last dia carut Adlin ngan tiru gaya ketika mengkritik. Everything else? A friggin' waste of time.

What better way to start the day than with Rockstar : Supernova punya results show. At least gets me in the mood for what I have to deal in watching the Diari Akademi Fantasia first report for the day. Yeay.... Lukas dan Dilana selamat agi. Finally Zayra kena gak masuk bottom three, seriously she sucks big time. It's definite by a unanmous decision that she's the worst singer in the group, and even the house band acknowleged that in the reality episode. Tapi dia safe AGAIN, though she 'didn't get me' with The Kinks. Seriously I think she doesn't even get rock. Jill? I kind of like her though agreeably the Courtney Love wanna act wasn;t the best act from her. Chris, kesian je.... I mean he's not the best, but if lemons like Zayra and Ryan can stick around, you got to wonder as well. If Could Only See didn't get the rock vibes going even though Supernova had questioned his authenticity onstage. Tapi acoustic sedap gak, just felt it was a little boyband... something Phil would have done with his little shiver-swagger motions. Yuck! Still, quite a few people bring it on tapi I think it's still quite early, until you cut the number by about hald before you realise who actually understand what rock is. One of the main reasons I watch Rockstar : Supernova is because of the fantastic fashion courtesy of designs from Danny Moloshok. Memang besh gila baju dia. Some of it is too risque, tapi aku rasa at least it captures the essential spirit of rock. Korang ingat balik tiap kali pelajar Akademi dapat lagu rock apa pakaian meka. Eeww!!! A check on the website credits Chip and Pepper Jeans, Converse (didn't they sponsor the Akademi as well... tapi kasut yang dapat cam BM2000 jer...), JL Jewelers, Luxotica Eyewear and Vans. Tapi memang salute ler sapa heading their wardrobe sebab direction memang lawa gila to assemble the look for the contestants. Erm... ok ler...about Diari hari ni. Aku nak positif sikit ler sebab satu musim aku negatif sangat kan, asik point out the bad stuff je (nak wat pe, tu yang lebih nampak) So here's my positive observations dari kedua laporan Diari Akademi Fantasia ari ni.
My 15 POSITIVE observation points of Diari Akademi Fantasia today
1. Diari bermula ari ni ngan aku simpati untuk Faizal. Kejamnya para tenaga pengajar Akademi kannnnnn. "Tatau susah begini", ngadu Faizal. Nitis air mata aku dengar dia cakap camtuh ngan Umi. Yerlah... he works oh soooooo hard, and has improved sooooo much that they really should give him a break.
2. Kesian lak semua tension, termasuk Leez. Takper la Leez, take comfort in the fact that you are going out this week, irregardless of whatever you do.
3. Oooo...aku rasa begitu bersalah sebab selama ni kritik Faizal blur ler... jalan dan nari kongkang. Masa sesi luahkan perasaan dia kata dia penah jatuh telaga. Doesn't that explain a lot? I bet it's more than a bump on the head.
4. Begitu bagus nya pelajar-pelajar Akademi Fantasia kali ni. Masa Umi mintak meka baring, ala ala meditation gitu (very the new age Umi - I love her no matter what), bebudak ni leh TIDUR! Pandai meka improvise kan???!!!! ... kita sabar je dan harap they can do as well during their performances.
5. Oooh... Pejal penah mai KL gi Chow Kit beli perfume ek? He must smell good then cause that is like THE capital of scents extraodinaire (and all so desirable... the vehicle fumes, blocked drains, assorted body odours, piles of varioud kind of garbage). Jangan lak korang pikir dia sesuatuh walaupun dok sana member mai 'jemput'.
6. Lotter da berjaya kurang 5 desibel bunyi kunyahan ketika makan. Microphone dipakaikan yang kuatkan bunyinya tau!!!
7. Lotter ni jenis sensitif. Kena marah ngan Ajai sebab tak mampu hafal lirik begitu banyak dan susah untuk lagu Chow Kit Road, terus dia membawa diri. Kesian dia kan?
8. Farhan suka nak tayang kan???... dia ni fake dan show off. Just because dia leh bak lagu rock doesn't mean she's good. After all, she's only done, rap, R&B, soul, blues, pop and ballads. Who does she think she is? Haziq leh asli! Faizal leh impersonate Mr Bean! Lotter leh sengau! Amirul leh nari!
9. Kejam kan si Leez sebab layan tak layan je si Haziq tu. Dah he's practically making the effort to come across as a sex pervert yang tak penah nampak pompuan... Leez tak appreciate langsung! Memang kena sangat kan Haziq usik dia berlagak...
10. Ajai memang betul bila dia kata Lotter talented. Sapa kata Lotter lari pitching. Dia bersiul masuk pitch pe! In fact, korang jaga, silap silap nanti satu konsert dia wa tuh je tuk buktikan.
11. Korang tak baik kutuk Pejal sebab kurang fasih bahasa Inggeris. Tengok dia rap untuk part Zahid dalam lagu Caramu.. walaupun dalam bahasa Melayu... walaupun erm... dia tak sebut betul 100% and takde tempo kelam kabut sikit. Kan bagus tu!!!....kalao korang kata tak sedap, korang buta seni, buta hati, buta puting...segalanya lah!
12. Bukan salah Astro atau team produksi Akademi Fantasia banyak tampilkan sponsor. Dah bebudak nak promote Gardenia ari ni.
13. Lembab kata korang pasal Pejal? Tengok betapa hebat keadaan fizikal dia ketika dia Amirul dan Lotter ketika kena denda pumping sebab Linda Jasmine salah tuduh meka bising dalam kelas. Sampai ati kan? Bebudak pompuan tu patut kena... Meka bertiga ni baik je...they so pay the attention and come out perfect in every performance.
14. Tengok betapa romantik nya Haziq nyanyi tuk Leez. Walaupun tetap Tora datang lagi katanya... bukan sumbang ok... korang jangan kejam kutuk dia. Cuma nervous... tu sebab out sikit sampai ke Alaska sora dia. Korang takde ati dan perasaan ke?
15. Sapa kata meka ni tak mampu wat lagu Hips Don't Lie? Especially pelajar laki! Meka ni besh ok! Sora budak laki tak dengar sebab erm.. meka simpan tenaga, tu kan rehearsal dance. Lagikpun, meka memang perfect sedap ok nyanyi tu. Pe dia? Ala... bahasa orang... korang kena paham ler jangan agungkan lagu omputeh ni sangat. At least bebudak ni leh dance. Apa dia? Joget lambak? Ketimuran ler at least...
You know the frightening part about those points at the top. Some people will actually take them as true! Don't believe it? Nama pun fanatik... They're capable of anything... which is more than what I can say about the students themselves. And for the last time this season, anyone doesn't like what I say in my blog can jump off the highest building, cause I don't get paid by Astro to write 'positive, thought provoking pieces'. Lawak... lawak...
Missed Rockstar : Supernova ari ni sebab bangun 'awal' sangat. Actually woke up tengo jam 8.15am, tapi confident leh lelap sat agik. Merasalah, bangun da 10! Takper... malam ni takyah tengok Diari pertama sebab da tengok. Sempat ler mencelah kang tengok Rockstar : Supernova (Diari kan berlambak iklan) malam ni. Anyway, walaupun jarang, I caught the first Diari report today during noon. And here are some observations mengenai Diari Akademi Fantasia hari ni (sebab malas wat ulasan can carutan skema - banyak lagik blog yang wat transkripsi penuh).
My 20-point observation of Diari Akademi Fantasia today
1. Who do we blame it on, again? The education system in Malaysia ke kerana lepaskan orang cam Faizal ni yang tak paham simple words pun? Nak kata English 1119 pun tak sampai kalau setakat nak sebut 'girl' pun takleh. That is like PMR, Darjah 6 punya level ok. Faizal ni lulusan skoleh rendah je ke? Or worse? Orang nak bagi alasan apa pun, I'm not expecting English dia power ke haper. Tapi takkan setakat perkataan senang pun nak beriya-iya tanya konon nak tunjuk usaha (in the end miming gak kang cam ari tu) And because of that, terpaksa la melayan orang sebut "hey gurrr" dan "move yerrrr bodehhh" And when you walk up on the dance floor. Nobody cannot ignore the way you move your body, girl. Tu lirik yang simple. Apa? Ignore pun berapa hari nak paham? Kesian Umi dari malam semalam, and Syafi ari ni sebab nak explain bukan main punya seksa!
2. It's unbeliavable the things that production allow to slip. Kalau ari tuh, Aznil tersilap live tu sebut n*****r leh maapkan lagi. Ni, Lotter menunjukkan kekampungan diangan nak wat lawak bangap, bodoh, dan very the babs dengan mengatakan "negro bodoh" at least dua kali. That is just a racist statement and I can't believe they allowed that on TV! Kalau kena bangsa yang ada kena mengena negara kita? He's as stupid as Faizal bila bab tertentu.
3. Pelajar laki semua memang molot lebih becok. Tengah kelas, membebel je keja sekor-sekor. Budak pompuan at least disciplined, hasil pun perform better. Wat per nak binatang masuk kelas ni. Tima kasih Syafi for telling them off.
4. Amirul has no bloody sense of fashion tul. Ada ke tak abih-abih ngan pokok kelapa atas kepala dia tuh. Stylo ke? Retarded ader ler.
5. Disebabkan kekurangan segalanya, Amirul yang tak mampu concentrate akibat jangkitan anxiety disorder dari Haziq, mendapat a different strain of virus kombinasi attention deficit disorder dan otak out of order. Akibatnya, Syafi lukis vocal cord dia giggled away terbayang benda lain. Aku rasa korang tengok bentuk korang leh agak ler dia bayangkan apa. So juvenile... benda camtuh pun leh seronok.
6. Jelas dari latihan, lagu bonus Lemas dan Saya Anak Malaysia diberikan untuk kononnya menunjukkan budak lelaki semua ada input. Sebab confirm lemau nak mampos time Hips Don't Lie.
7. Diagak masaalah yang bakal dihadapi Velvet menjadi. Velvet sendiri dan Syafi pun akui yang Caramu memang lagu susah untuk dibawa, walaupun bunyi nya seolah senang. Range Nikki terlampau besar jika di jadikan suara Velvet yang more on the higher end dan nipis. Still, hope she makes it all the way, even though ikut trend undian dia nampak cam akan tersingkir minggu ni.
8. Haziq menyambung usaha gatal perasan macho yang semakin overdose dan meluatkan. Ada je Leez, ada jer ler Haziq membayangi setiap pergerakannya. Sampai Leez gi tukau bateri tuk mic pun dia gedik nak ikut. Ikut satu hal, siap baring pose feel manja seductive agik yang tak larat nak muntah.
9. Syukur Leez tak minat binatang dan terus beredar ngan jeling tak kuasa. Padan muka!!!
10. Alamak... akibat kena reject, sepanjang laporan Diari Akademi Fantasia kedua, kami dihidangkan mukla toya Haziq merajuk sepanjang masa. Aku salute Leez ler... wat donno jer ngan penagih simpati punya si pengiggil. Amik ko... motif feeling nak berdrama swasta???
11. True in Astro tradition yang takleh survive kalao tak paparkan kisah telnovela, meka tetap berkejar tuk panaskan ngan cita 'cinta' Haziq dan Leez. Patut ler yer yer nak bak masuk bagi cuti percuma. Persis bosi (tak paham takper) si Leez ni. Lari ke Lotter... lari ke Faizal... dan lari dari Haziq (gelak jahat seribu kali) Lari punya lari, kena lak paksa berbalas pantun ngan si gigil. Dengan muka penuh harapan penggigil tuh. Yuck!!!
12. The class for appreciation for our musical heritage ni menyemak je. In the packed curriculum yang bebudak performance pon tak betul, perlu ke membusykan meka lagik with more things that aren't relevant to their performance. After all... again, the class is a good move. But I hardly see how it personally aids them, neither does it do anything good for programming. BORING!!!!
13. Motif Amirul feeling nak dominasi ngan perasaan trauma dia? Camler dia seorang kena perform personal assignment, as well lagu bonus. Please lah... musim lepas-lepas Akademi Fantasia tak penah pun bebudak merungut sebanyak assignment meka. Musim ni ler the first real look at yang memang TAK LAYAK dok Akademi... sikit-sikit complain. Tapi at least ada kesinambungan in cita Lotter yang mengikuti rapat pastuh.
14. What can Lotter do selain bagi alasan? Nyanyi takleh... nari takleh. Complain lak takleh tuh laa ni la... terima jer la, sengau woi... apa da!
15. Motif Amirul perlu nak jadi kongkang (more than he is anyway) time nari. Hah... pastu performance hancur kata stress ler... tak cukup masa ler. Tidur, nangis, melantak, and playing the fool ada masa lak. Motif nari cam monyet kena sawan. Tak baik Amirul carut si Faizal (gelak agik)
16. Dealova lagu emo tiba tiba... courtesy of Faizal... menjadi... jeng jeng jeng... ROCK KAPAK!!! Damn. That's another favourite song off my list.
17. Haziq ari ni menjadi ratu sentap. Tiap kali kena reject ngan Leez, wat muka seposen, baring hide his face, which is actually good for us sebab kita takyah tengok muka dia.
18. Kevin Zahri as usual lebih-lebih lak. Teringat masa dia dulu iya-iya participate in kritikan persembahan, like he knows anything. Ari ni, dia gantikan Dr Eveready ngan konon nak psycho bebudak tuh. Perlu ke? Mari kita bincang soal rambut ko ala toupee tuh dulu. Premature balding setting in ker haper?
19. Kesian tengok at the end of two episodes, teringat Linda Jasmine da mula hilang kesabaran dan mula menjerit kembali. Who wouldn't with so many idiots you are entrusted to teach, tapi meka in reality nak free holiday on Astro jer dok depan camera feel muka seposen.
20. Corrie pun aku rasa trauma teramat. Who can blame him. Kita tak dalam Akademi pun camtuh da... apa lagik kalao dok dalam.
Disebabkan aku sempat catch Diari pertama da tenghari tadik,. so in between here and there, aku dapat ler catch Rockstar : Supernova. I loved Magni's performance of The Who's My Generation, walaupun it wasn't rockstar material, it was above par. With Rihanna's S.O.S. big now, mesti ramai recognise Soft Cell's Tainted Love walaupun meka tak penah dengar yang original. It was good for me, but maybe because of the strength of the song itself and nothing to do with her. Jill was all rock for Hole's Violet, but the performance was only as strong as the song, which is not saying much. Zayra ranks as crap again with You Really Got Me by The Kinks. Screw rock... whatever genre, in whatever language, that latina doesn't cut it! Chris sucked big time for Franz Ferdinand's Take Me Out. It's so blah blah blah and forgettable that it could have been on Akademi Fantasia. My favourite Dilana tore it up again with Johnny Cahs's Ring Of Fire. She's the only rock gal that actually has a chance to walk off with Supernova and I'm hoping she'll remain in enough to prove to everyone that. Josh with Creed's Arms Wide Open was in the wrong show, while Phil who did Tonic's If You Could Only See was just in the wrong genre. Storm is another crowd favourite, but I really don't think she's all rock, while Patrice is starting to show an edgier side with Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box. The highlight of the show (just beating Dilana by a bit) was Lukas, my other favourite who did a totally different take of Coldplay's Don't Panic. Ryan who should have been booted off with Zayra in the first week for equally sucking eggs... SUCKED again with The Stone's Jumping Jack Flash Moe fillers with Dana (Steppenwolf's Born To Be Wild) and Toby (The Killer's Somebody Told Me) and the show was over. I don't know and sure as hell don't care who's going to go, but it better not be Dilana or Lukas. Time to vote for them like hell. If you love and follow Rockstar : Supernova too, don't forget to vote! I'm clicking a lot for Dilana and Lukas all the way. Takyah mahal-mahal nak SMS. Kalau power sikit, kita AFUNDI dia je masuk. Dari jauh ku lihaaaaaaaakkk.... Baru nak celebration je Faizal kena laser seban konon wat muka innocent, terpaksa melayan Lotter wat Chow Kit Road. Seriously, he looks and sounds like he belongs there. Syafi punya bab tolong bebudak vocal, aku kesian lak la... terpaksa dia layan horror-horror ni sekoq-sekoq! Erm... tak larat Amirul, but ngan Velvet aku risau lak. She can't seem to get it right. Phrasing problems lak. Erm... dia ada stamina tak nih... hish. Worried for her. Adus... Forget Leez ler... no impact at all ler. So much for hoping she would bring something different into the Akademi. Lor... end of first Diari kena layan airmata si Leez lak. Perlu ke? Wei...takde orang AFUNDI ko takyah ler wat drama. But I supposed when Astro kata they needed something to create sparks in the Akademi, the meant some hootchie mama to strut in and get some hormonal pre-pubescent appearing geek to gawk at her lor. I hope the rich fat cats who are throwing money behind him lose out in the stock markets soon. I don't know berapa lama lagik ler I can take this. Dahler had to layan his tahi hidung ke jerawat... tak kuasa. Patut ler orang kutuk Farhan memacam... mesti peminat Haziq (penghinaan yang teramat power!) Dahler... muka toya Haziq wat aku hilang selera makan. Ok gak Astro letak muka Haziq ni tak abih-abih...kurus gak aku akhirnya (mung kin ke?) Rasa cam tak complete kalao aku tak sebut camna persembahan pelajar lain. As expected, Velvet was having problems with Caramu, while Faizal lak pon 2 X 5. Farhan takleh cakap sebab inadequate scenes showing her actually singing (terima kasih Astro sebab lombab). As for Amirul dan Lotter... do you guys really expect much?
Aku betul-betul letih ari ni. After spending most of the day kat Astro, aku sampai balik opis pun da 7 petang. That's when I found out I had tickets sent to me from Channel [V] for the preview of Pirates of the Caribbean : Dead Man's Chest yang hanya akan memulakan tayangan Khamis ni Dilema aku sebanyak banyak agik keja nak abih malam ni. So kalau tak sempat abihkan kesemuanya (which is impossible sebab movie pun da 9.30pm) aku esok kena masuk awal ke opis. It didn't take long to think... sebab selepas rindukan 'dia' semalam, and spent the night wallowing in depression tengok Bridget Jones' Diary kat Astro, I though... hey... I got to go out. So finished one article, rushed to the new Cathay Cineplex Cineleisure kat Damansara. Sebab tak ke area tuh in months, blur sikit. Kak long, Fiebie dan Za jumpa aku kat sana sebab aku ajak sekali, having extra tickets and all. My Lord... besaunya tempat tuh! Aku tatau aku sempat sebab rushing sangat (da takde stamina) ataupun terkezut because the place is impressively huge. I think it must have been sebab aku rushing kot sebab aku kuar opis aku exactly 9.15pm. Three minutes to make my way down the parking ramp, and another 13 minutes to reach Damansara. Two more minutes of rushing, and I finally make it to the entrace to meet thre three of them.
We got in the moment the movie started so we didn't really miss anything crucial. Tapi akibatnya, first time aku tengok movie tanpa berbekalkan snacks. Not to mention the fact that aku tak sempat gi toilet langsung. And for the next two and a half amazing hours, aku dok at the same spot, terpaku tenung skrin. It was a fab movie! Memang soal effects, it was top notch, even way better than the cheesy Army Of Darkness wannabe CGI applications. Plot-wise, I thought it was silly of them to try and put in some sub-plots like Will and his dad and all, but apparently all for a good reason! Yes, after two and a half butt-numbing hours (WARNING : potential spoiler revelation), there is no bloody ending. Aiyak... tergantung cita dia for another bloody sequel. Wait a minute, this IS the sequel... so kira the third instalment ler. Erm... but all in all it was a gorgeously made movie yang worth it (even if you have to pay for it) But bear it's a popcorn movie, though not exactly a no-brainer. In this follow-up to the 2002 movie, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) reveals more of his deal with the devil, when dia kena langsai utang with the extremely cooly and scarily realistic Davy Jones. Due to the interests of the East India Trading Company, the characters of Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley have to skirmish around to sabe themselves from a death sentence to track down Jack for a barter trade they don't understand. Blah blah blah... the plot is mediocre... but the jumpy scraes come quite intelligently and if you're anything like the four of us who watched the movie, be advised gi buang air ke beli snacks BEFORE the movie cause there is no other time to do it once the film has started (abih lega bila abih movie bergegas carik bilik air) Recommended film to catch... kalau ikut aku, it's a three and a half star effort. Notable things to notice, the scene everyone's trying to get away from the cannibals. Davy's weird corpe crew (especially that hammerhead nasty), and the great make-up and CGI effects. Rasa nak gi tengok lagik ler Hmmm... abih je movie, ciao gi Bangsar melantak sebab masing-masing kebuluran. Then said by to kak long and gerak gi Shah Alam. Sebelum tidur, rasa cam kewajipan nak update blog teramat, so decided pop in Internet cafe kat Seksyen 6 sat. Nak update pasal Diari ari ni... Aku sempat tengok the first Diari abih and halfway the second Diari (walaupun aku in between abihkan keja, answering the phone dan kelam kabut nak rush ke cinema). Dalam Diari pertama, aku caught for about minutes the audio wasiat yang Diddy bagik. Touching and honest. Ok ler.. Then for some stupid reason, the played Jenga, which is about as relevant to them as fashion is to Yoda. Aku tak paham tul scenes camni... pastu main game air entah haper, followed by some scene they were like going for a bite or something. Big, fat, hairy, deal. Aku sempat tengok je part evaluation performance pelajar, and I think it's just silly. I applaud the likes of Papa Rock sebab tak nak demoralise the kids and all, tapi in that way I think it crosses the fine line jadik manja lak. Bila buat salah cam Haziq, walaupun dalam playback leh dengar sumbang mambang, still nak puji. Hurmphh!!! How are they expected to learn then? Ok this is ridiculous. The songlist is just crap. Amirul dapat lagu quite safe, which doesn't test him vocally (but then it'd be a waste of time to test him sebab dia nyanyi Baa Baa Black Sheep pun teruji). Faizal nyanyi Dealova? First of all, nyanyi lagu Indonesian kena kuat projection emosi, and Faizal doesn't really project himself that well.. but I know lots of fans will argue that it's not true and that he would be perfect for the song. I'll just say that people will believe what they want to. Farhan will be challenged because for a straight out rock song, it utilises less obvious techniques, and I think she'll face some serious challenges in getting that right. Haziq? Buang masa je. Cakap pe pun tak guna da. Letih jari menaip. Lotter? Mendapat lagu yang dapat maximise kesengauan dia, though I don't care to talk about him anymore too. Velvet rupanya yang dapat lagu Caramu, and I hope that part whistling yang susah dan bukan semua leh buat she can surprise me. If nothing else, perhaps she can demonstrate the use of superhead tone walaupun kalau dia takleh wat whistling. The song being rancak, sebab tengok Nikki pun nyanyi dan menari kena conserve energy, I hope she will be able to pace herself well. Leez? Tak penting dalam kehidupan aku... Hah? Lagu RuffEdge lagik? Kronisme ke haper ni? Ada interest ke sesapa nak lagu meka je? Takde lagu lain nak pilih ke? Lagu Dr. Sam walaupun nostalgic, but seriously, perlu ke ada lagu ni? it's not a competition song, and it doesn't really need any vocal talent ok for this sing-a-long. Trust me when I say the boys will go all out for this one because of that. Hips Don't Lie is a laugh, sebab semestinya pas bebudak laki melalak, lagu ni akan menjadi ujian seterusnya untuk budak pompuan. Double standard tul! The boys keep getting the easy ones and the girls suffer and yet don't get the credit due. I think the main problem that is evident now is that tenaga pengajar dan pengkritik tak sehaluan. Sini ajar lain, sana kritik lain. And then sentap, bagik lak bebudak ni lagu yang lebih kurang within their comfort zone (but mostly for the benefit of the boys). Your guess is as good as mine ler. WHAT THE #$%^&$# IS ASTRO TRYING TO PROVE???!!! Gila ke haper nak wat gimik murahan takde tujuan? Sapa punya idea bangang nak wat lawak ala ala bebudak reject dari Konsert Prelude lak akan dapat peluang tuk masuk Akademi Fantasia? For those of you who didn't watch the show - time meka umumkan pelajar yang tersingkir, they also announced the highest voted student too, yang akan dapat peluang untuk memilih seorang teman yang kena sepak kuar dari Konsert Prelude, to join in the Akademi. Sensasi lawak bangap sebab lepas meng-stresskan Farhan pelbagai kerana dia la yang kena wat pilihan, tetiba pas Farhan pilih Leez, diumumkan lak yang si reject ni akan dok Akademi seminggu tuk alami apa yang bebudak alami... meaning she will get all the coaching (carbs... carbs... carbs... - how interesting) and assignments that bebudak lain akan dapat. Budak tu juga akan perform the next concert. Tapi kelakarnya, tak ada AFUNDI. Leez masuk tu ibarat holiday percuma murahan tanggungan Astro. Bangang tul. Tuh ler pasal orang yang diupah wat gimik pon 2 X 5 ngan idea yang patut masuk tong sampah je. All the stress and for nothing. To make it worse, aku tengok Leez hancur berkecai impian dia ingat da dapat masuk as a student for contention rupanya LAWAK BANGANG! And the other kids yang in the competition? Dapat teman baru tuk menemai meka tapi takde real function cam Fifi the f***ed up Friskies feline. It was stupid, misplaced, hurtful of Astro to do that, and memang tu dah mula membuktikan Akademi Fantasia is sliding to the standard of Popstar, Audition dan sebagainya. Hah... tuh lum agik sebut bab concert! Mari kita aktifkan... carutan konsert Akademi Fantasia keenam!
Lagu Bonus - Angguk Angguk Geleng Geleng (Ahli Fikir) Farhan and Velvet hidupkan lagu ni ngan their bits. Great intro for the party tune which could have gotten everyone bopping, though the choreography for this was kiddish and patheticly silly. Aku tak paham apa fungsi Lotter. Si Faizal tuh rap cam pesan nasi ayam kat medan selera Batu Tujuh. Diddy and Amirul were ok tapi Haziq cam keta terbabas kat the slopes of Genting Highlands. Talk about an accident! Horrible tul! Budak kecik yang di bawa jadik guest tuh anytime better than ALL the kids sebab tengok dia punya body movements and rapping pun lebih standard. So now we know the real standard of pelajar Akademi Fantasia. And what the hell was up with DJ Uno? Farhan baru nak start another verse, and Diddy was backing her up, tiba-tiba the song went dead and Uno pose cam Miss Universe (merasalah Andrea Fonseka duta Petal sesuai ngan muka kuih bulan dia tuh) Nak geram bab tuh, lagik mendidih aku Farhan menyanyi terpaksa pegang bahagian dada dia sebab baju yang di pakai TIDAK SESUAI!!! Takut melimpah keluar lak segala isi sebab it was soft plunging top she wore that could hardly contain any of Farhan's ample assets. Bodoh ker haper meka ni???!!! Tuh ler pasal amik Rizalman. Astro ni bab tertentu bangang nak mampos! Tak tahu ke beza fashion designer ngan image consultant.There IS a difference. And tak semestinya sorang fashion designer knows what is best (or knows at all) the different style approached of different music genres. Faizal - Senandung Anak Laut (Kembara) Nampaknya skang bila orang diundang sebagai guest artiste bukan lagik tuk surprise tapi shameless self-promotion. As much as I respect orang lama cam S. Sahlan and A. Ali, what the heck was that solo intro for? The spotlight is on the student performing the song... perlu ke nak intro lagu dulu tunjuk skill and all. To make matters worse, stage center je si Faizal... ya ampun!!! Baju dia... Alagappa's and Baba's ke yang sponsor? Apa kenanya lagu tuh ngan baju ala Deepavali sale? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE???!!! Faizal wasn't all that hot either. He started low, and was just mumbling to himself. The beginning as Adlin pointed out was muffled and non audible. Like Adnan Abu Hassan, I found his action of cupping his ear with his hands (so rock kongkang - not rock kangkang ek). Slip of tongue perhaps, tapi Faizal didn't even know the names of both of the big men that backed him and Aznil had to prompt him. "Terima kasih kerana jayakan konsert saya." Gi mamposlah!!! This is getting ridiculous! Dahler pemalas. Show ala kadar. Hish! No progress tul si Faizal. Dok enam minggu dalam Akademi, from first week lagu semua ala ala selamat je, no improvement at all. Lotter - Da'Bomb (Ruffedge) It was so low lah, even for Astro nak bak tunjuk bak parents Lotter berjalan, nitis airmata....etc. It was emotional blackmail for audiences to vote him (obviously cause they can't vote him for talent because he sucks) I think this whole distiction of different backgrounds and all is so lame. They did this with Mas, and it's no different with Lotter. Perlu ke undi simpati??? Kalau nak anggap AFUNDI tu sebagai biasiswa, then people, make sure you ask for a refund cause this boy ain't worth the money! Dari permulaan lagu je, terbukti segala yang di ajar cikgu Syafi tak ada effect langsung. Sengau dia bukan seperti nyanyi ngan hidung, but through his rear orifice (that means lubang) Tempo... pitching...anything that could have gone wrong did. And everyone had to hear all that while watching bounce around like some possesed clown! Aznil saved the show for him. Worst joke of the night? Ketiga pengkritik puji dia. Haziq - Seruan (Lefthanded) On again to wardrobe.Kenapa ni... letih tau nak komen pasal bab ni yang tak maju-maju walaupun Akademi Fantasia dah empat musim dah! Nampaknya walaupun Yoda diketepikan wat sementara, the force lives on ler ngan Rizalman tetap mempunyai idea-idea tuk baju yang seolah datang ilham time tengah dodok atas jamban. Nyanyi rock tapi pakai baju cam orang buta kat Kotaraya (meka pun pakai elok agik) yang pegi ke masquerade party dressed in a pop yeh yeh theme,selepas balik mancing ikan kat Pulau Carey. SEDIH!!!! As with the motif of the performances of the night, it gets WORSE (hard to imagine but it does) Apa punya budak si Haziq ni kata kaki concert ler haper ler... air guitar pun tak reti ke? Again, every single problem imaginable with his singing and body language took over his persembahan. Yang penting... enam minggu, tetap pose anxiety disorder tuh jer ler time dia wat show. Sebelum masuk bridge, Seruan tiba-tiba menjadi lagu asli midway. Pengkritik semua redeem themselves bila meka pon pening sampai nak propah kata bagus performance dia pon takleh sebab ternyata keburukan teramat. Akibatnya? Pas abih performance, Aznil mintak Haziq bukak spek itam dia tanak... meka kat dewan nampak dia asik kesat air mata. Nangis in between entah berapa lama. Velvet - Run Baby Run (Sheryl Crow) Honestly, I didn't expect much from Velvet sebab aku rasa lagu ni takde cabaran bagi dia vocally. But the moment she started aku terpukau sampai buku nota aku kosong tak catat apa-apa. It was a little bumpy here and there in terms of her body language, but it wasn't overwhelming. In fact, whatever flaw she had will only be noticed when I see the replay of her performance because I was too mesmerised by her vocals masa dalam dewan. Adlin brought up a valid point in how Velvet didn't really understand the perspective of the song, but I thought it was silly to do that since Lotter pun dia tak carut. Forget Raja Azura ler... she went on some stupid irrelavant tip of how Velvet kena gedik. Gila ke haper? Standard English Faizal ke tak paham lirik mintak orang gedik tak bertempat. One MAJOR problem... again was baju. Apahal nyanyi lagu Sheryl Crow, tapi pakai baju ala ala pinjam dari Aishah time Aishah & The Fan Club time 80an punya pesen???!!! Diddy - Airmata Kasih (R.Azmi & Kamariah Ahmad) Aku distracted time ni, sebab pas commercial break turn Diddy baru Haziq berani muka spek itam pose moka toya sentap. I believe Diddy did feel the song, but I don't know what's his problem in physically emitting the emotions of the song to the audience. Bab penghayatan, aku bagi mom dia 5 bintang! His level of stage awareness is high sebab aku nampak dia usaha nak dominate the stage with his movements. Unfortunately... for slow numbers like this, it looked like trying too hard sebab he was too conscious and self-aware. Other than that it was a vocally pleasing performance, walaupun pengkritik mengarut meroyan meraban apa ntah (da sora Lotter pun meka leh kata besh camna) Kak Engku finally ada function tuk malam tu, bila dia carut baju Diddy yang tak kena ngan lagu. Farhan - Kopi Dangdut (Fahmi Shahab) The good : Puas ati sebutan dia which brought out the flavour of the song. Her energy level and stamina bagus gila walaupun aku budget dia akan semput, but she maintained her vocals well throughout. Walaupun ramai tak rasa camtuh, but dangdut is one of the hardest and most physically demanding tunes to carry, and from this aspect, Farhan excelled. Even her gelek pun walaupun tak smooth sangat, but still ok ler. Oh yes, and there was that thing with Diddy and Velvet they did which I don't think they caught on camera. Hilarious! Kelakar tahap terburai isi perut tul. The bad : She didn't really get the plot of the genre. I know she tried, tapi dia tak cukup gedik and seductive as a teaser (merasalah kak Engku tetap blab on about how gedik you have to be). The ugly : Baju haper tuh? Dangdut ke....morally wayward 'bohsia' kat Central Market. Jeans siap lipat ke atas tuh ingat ke pasar nak beli ikan ke? Rating klubbkidd :
Amirul - Sedang Ingin Bercinta (Dewa) I don't understand why they bothered with the dancing in this song. Then I realised... what else can Amirul do? Berbekalkan Velvet sebagai props bergerak paling gigih (sibok tol Adlin camni ke sana kemari pun leh kata dia berat nak gerak), Amirul SUCKED big time on the vocals. BUT...kali ni, dia did better than Lotter and Haziq for this week sebab bab tarian dia excel. Singing? Was he??? Rating klubbkidd : (Dua bintang tuk skil tarian and entertainment value. Vocal hancur tapi tak sampai tahap nak denda lak tolak bintang)
Lagu Bonus - To Sir With Love (Lulu) This song should have been sub-titled To Sir With Love (You Don't Know Or Care I'm Just Miming Badly). Dahler nama lagu bonus berkumpulan, tapi bebudak pompuan je nyanyi. I caught Diddy and Haziq as well as a little of Amirul (attempting to sing) the backup, tapi Faizal dan Lotter MIMING je!!! And Faizal was so bad at it that he didn't even move his lips in time. It was like watching a badly dubbed episode of Oshin, Moero Attack or Doraemon. Or more accurately a Bruce Lee movie. Dahler intro perlu ke that little acting bit tu? Tacky!!! Made it look like a bad round of Sinaran : Paspot Kegemilangan or Audition (and we know how well THAT did) And for all that, none of the pengkritik yang bertugas even noticed. Bangap tol! Merasalah tuh pun kak Engku kata bagus. Gila ke haper? Tau ler ko pekak, tapi perlu ke buta sekali? And in true Akademi Fantasia 4 style, promo lagik skali, kali ni tuk Blooming florists kerana sponsor bunga meka bagik kat cikgu ala sambutan Hari Guru (time ni paling banyak paling banyak curi tulang berpura-pura conversation ngan tenaga pengajar) Rating klubbkidd : (Untuk Farhan and Velvet saja. Diddy and Haziq commendable for trying while Amirul, Faizal and Lotter were just a big waste of time)
I have no idea what's happening, but this is proving to be the CRAPPIEST season of Akademi Fantasia in the four year history of the programme. Mark my words... kalau trend undian ni berterusan, Velvet will be the next to go. It's been predictable for the two or three weeks, and she seems to be the next following the trend. So time to refocus. AFUNDI hanya tiga orang da. AFUNDI FARHAN, AFUNDI VELVET dan AFUNDI FAIZAL (dia pun aku da mula tak kuasa, but daripada Amirul, Lotter or Haziq...) By the way,aku tatau ler whether you guys noticed or not, tapi antara tamu yang hadir, DJ Dave. The funny part of the whole thing of seeing him was that he was sporting this goatee and really looked kinda erm...well. You see the picture pun ko leh tangkap sendiri ler. And THAT made him look him an Amitabh Bachan impersonator! Kecuali aku rasa erm...the big A looks a lot more distinguished and all ler. Sibuk gelak dari jauh aku bila tengok (couldn't help it ma.. he was in my line of sight or whatever you call it. Colouring his hair (not his goatee thought) makes him a tad impressive, not to mention his facial fur is well trimmed and quite exquisite. Er...what's with the Spiderman theme for the t-shirt? Yeap... the concert was that boring sampai benda camtuh pun leh amuse aku. Camna tuh? This really shows how bad the show was. SERIOUSLY!!! So here's hoping Astro takes notes. I hope you guys too will help, not just by AFUNDI untuk kayakan Astro lagi, but speak out of your dissatisfaction and what you think is wrong with thw whole scenario. Start by leaving comments in blogs, forums...and kalau nak kayakan Astro at @15 (tuh pun kalao tak kena censored). Right here, right now... leave your comments below and tell the people at Astro that something is seriously wrong, and maybe they should wake up from their daydream that Akademi Fantasia doesn't need to change because it's the No. 1 show on TV. Your say is important... so that they know bukan kami-kami saja yang bersuara, and that there is a siloent majority who agrees that this show needs a breath of fresh air (and a new wardrobe and image consultant, among others).
So today started pretty fine sebab aku rileks ari ni kurang kerja. That's why I love Fridays. Apapun, started the day on a fine tip sebab caught Rockstar : Supernova punya results show. As expected the horrible two in Ryan and Zayra ada dok kat antara bottom three throughout the show. Tapi tengok, setan punya, diselamatkan lak... yang last meka terselamat! I suppose when it comes to the general public, it's not an exclusive virus for people to vote NOT based on talent. So bab Akademi Fantasia camtuh,turns out it continues raging everywhere as any idiot who can afford a phone bill or to top up their mobiles have the freedom to decide the lives of other people. FInal bottom three at the closing of the show were Chris, Phil and Matt... not too surprising choice of trio. I'm just glad my favourites Dilana and Lukas were in. Tak sia-sia undi meka. Takyah bazir pon SMS to do it. Just online... Lukas kind of rubs me the wrong way now because of his cockiness, but I suppose he's sure for his talent... just hope it doesn't get any worse. Not so interesting to watch was the Diari Akademi Fantasia. On Diari today, I was nearly turned off. I seriously think the shows are going to get worse. Mana taknya, I seriously don't see any progress from any of the kids. Six weeks, and stakat tuh je ke usaha mereka? And the have among the best professionals teaching them lagik tuh... I have to point out Velvet is disappointing me more and more, sebab walaupun dia maintain, still she's not living up to her full capabilities. Faizal? Predictable! Lah di da... tengok si Haziq practise ngan Ajai, sakit ati tol. Budak ni main-main je keja. Degil takleh dengar tol apa yang cikgu ajar. Sesi love our local ,music heritage busuk sangat. While it's a good effort, but execution makes it come across as such a waste of time. Amirul preferred to spend his time giggling. There is no real effort of the kids to appreciate the knowledge handed to them, but I suppose it's hard to blame them. Haziq je nampak assume this air of superiority ngan berangan sebab tuh forte dia. Sib baik editing talk banyak tonjok muka toya dia. Second Diari, repeat of the first in terms of mistakes in execution. Si Sham ajar bebudak nak layer Menujuk Puncak punya vocals. Problem is, while he took nto account the choreography and how the kids would deliver with that in mind, I think the important think should have been working with Linda and Corrie sebab baru nampak the whole execution in full. Time Angguk-Angguk Geleng-Geleng aku sakit ati tol tengok Faizal and Lotter. Lirik pun tak sure, step tarian pon tak betul. Padan muka si Linda ngamuk ngan meka. Eh... korang perasan tak muka Haziq versi Nash yang geek? Except sora Haziq tak standard. Mula Faizal confuse semacam kenapa ek??? Kerut dahi cam tertanya je. Suka time jamming tengok Farhan dan Velvet on bass dan drums. Semangat!!! Tu yang penting. Last scene tetap binatang kan... Marrybrown punya promo agik!!! Gi mampos ler.... tak paham bahasa tul meka ni. Iklan manjang.... the stupid mascot dahler sesuatuh! Peluk bebudak siap tangan meraba semacam. Haiyo... amik kesempatan ke??!!! Dahler.. enough with the stupids sponsors and their dumb mascots and product placements. Over sangat dah! Do these really think they can influence people with their products? Kalau nak kata whether it's working for brand awaress, aku stuju ler, but for all the wrong reasons. I know me, myself and I for one, takkan sekali-kali melangkah dalam Marrybrown sebab kebodohan teramat mencemari setiap episod Diari Akademi Fantasia ngan iklan bangap meka, followed by their dumb mascots entering the Akademi tak abih-abih. And that's not taking into account it's one of the crappiest fast food outlets around (next to A&W) Tu lum lagik. Tak creative at all. Not only they bring the dumb mascots in like the students are some retarded five year-olds that would be excited at the prospect of some guy dressed in a cheap animal suit, sweating away and undoubtedly stinking away... they bring stupid party hats and all. Aku rasa kanak-kanak istimewa je bebudak ni. Konon wat ala party. Cmon ler.... meka ni umur berapa? And people are supposed to take them seriously? Akademi Fantasia is seriously lacking direction dah skang...
Yes, it looks like musim reality TV has started. Mampos ler aku kekurangan tidur nak follow! Pagi tadi terjaga awal, walaupon tidur about 3pm. It was about 7am only, tapi entah kenapa, dalam mamai, gerak ke dapur tuk cari benda nak melahap. Mmm... abih ler diet camni. Leh sleepwalking nak makan katanya... but after that I freshened up and popped the TV on. Pasang je Star kat 70, tengok terus baru nak start Rockstar : Supernova. Last season masa Rockstar : INXS aku tak follow sangat, but I found myself supporting Jordis (sayang dia kuar awal), Mig, as well as my favourite rocker, Marty Casey. So on and off followed ler. But kebetulan ari ni tangkap kedua episode back to back, the first and second, so puas ati ler nak follow this season. Aku seriously think the only major flaw this season for Rockstar is the fact that they didn't seem to choose the contestants based on what Supernova's genre was, and knowing rock is such a diverse genre, berterabur ler bebudak ni punya influence, ngan ada yang kena ada yang tak. These are the fifteen who checked into the Rockstar mansion this time.
So far I found the worst is the geek who tries to pass himself as a rock God in Ryan. Sodih mamat nih... totally screwed up Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls which is like one of the best songs of all time for me. While the most horrendous sounding singer is definitely Zayra. I know she's trying to bring the latina out in her element of rock, but she comes across as a Shakira wannabe B grade porn actress who writhes around the floor with little vocal talent. And she definitely ain't rock. Abih hancur Bring Me To Life Evanescence. I think Farah does a better version of it (I'm serious!) Tapi among the duds, I think Dilana kicks ass! She's my favourite female contestant followed by Jill. Of the male contestants, I think Lukas is the best in terms of fitting the rockstar package.. he's also got one of the most impressive resumes of the lot. Closely following him is Josh, tapi aku rasa sora dia not in sync with the direction of Supernova which is metal edged padahal dia soul funk and blues direction. Then there's Toby which is quite decent too. I don't know if I'm going to be able to blog so much about Rockstar : Supernova, tapi aku nak gak sebab aku memang minat abih. Rockstar shines as a reality programme because it exposes more on the musical direction of the star wannabes, with them involved with the creative side, more often than not rearranging the material their way to bring out their individuality rather than any other series yang semua disuap. Plus not to mention, the fashion of the contestants is edgy and relevant. But camtuh ler kalao takyah nak deal ngan Yoda as head of wardrobe kan? Meanwhile... I have to just throw this into my posting. My two favourite contestants for Rockstar : Supernova!

By the way, Lucas sang, Billy Idol's Rebel Yell which came across as a weird Manic Street Preachers meets Freddie Mercury, tapi kinda original, even though I suspect sound dia tak translate from what it was in the venue. Dilana was simply electrifying in her weird evil manic possessed troll doll inspired take of Nirvana's Lithium. Manic abih siot!!!! Definitely tuning in for the the results show tomorrow. So far not much suspense because too many of them in the mansion still. once chop down to about 10 then best ler.
One of the reasons why watching Rockstars is not as painful sebab takde ler bak sponsors berduyun masuk ke rumah meka tuh kan. I mean everyone can basically complain until the cows come home, but somehow the producers of the Diari cam tak reti yang orang TAK INGIN tengok sponsors gila glam depan kamera. It does in any way contribute to the whole scenario of teaching nor does it enhance the experience for the viewers ler nak layan orang pathetically pushing the products to the kids. If anything, let the sponsors know this... I AM TURNED OFF ANY PRODUCTS WHICH ARE SO BLATANTLY ADVERTISED! Right now we already have a list of bebenda da nak avoid... Adabi, Gardenia, Toyota, Petals, Friskies, Marrybrown... confirm aku tak kuasa nak layan. Now I have Sendayu Tinggi to add to the list for wasting entah berapa minutes of my life watching their pathetic publicity stint. Kalau da sibuk nak promote produk meka, takyah ler Kevin Zahri in the first place kan... I mean as it is, the whole list of sponsors for the junk food pun dah contradict his being there kan? Yang dapat diselamatkan Hotlink (sebab da penaja utama nak wat camna kan...) as well as Osim (sebab provide me with comic relief tiap kali tengok iklan i-Gallop tuh). Hope producers don't take it as nanti leh lak promote kedua produk sponsors ni gila babushka punya dah ler. Tapi if you're as irritated as I am, mai kita send a message out to the advertisers yang kita nak beramai-ramai BOIKOT produk apa yang boringly forces us to endure some shameless endorsement. yang tak perlu. (cakap je... tak boikot pon, saja bagik meka sakit ati. I don't bother with even one of their products so far - no wonder they need the advertising) I know programmes need ler endorsement to survive (or in this case make money) tapi tak perlu ler sampai camni. Tengok cam American Idol, they work out the whole thing, by having the contestants figure in a commercial taped specially of them singing a tune. That's not too subtle, but it doesn't turn you off either kan? Selain dari tuh, apa lagi ulasan dan carutan aku tuk Diari ari ni? Kejutan membawa RuffEdge pun tak dapek nak tolong Lotter who still sucks big time. The other person who sucks eggs is of course Amirul, followed closely by Haziq. Aku seriously pity ler sapa yang AFUNDI meka ni. Not only they're not going to get their money back, I have this feeling that sapa abihkan duit kat meka bertiga ni seriously will regret their actions some time later. And that pretty much sums up the interesting things to note for the past two episodes of the Diari today. Bad huh? Tapi nak wat per... salahkan ler yang wat program tuh kalao da segala membosankan. By the way... what the hell is that No Girls Allowed thing for again? Tak paham tol sgnificance of that and RuffEdge and all. Talk about desperate for a cliffhanger...
Aku malas nak ulas Diari sebenarnya, tapi sebab tugas tak selesai tuk nak 'usir' yang tak patut dan tak layak dari Akademi, maka tugas tuk nak jalankan kempen out with Haziq, Amirul and Lotter, lum selesai (especially Haziq. Aku rasa lebih bernas kalao aku letak by point form, so here's my observations from tonight's Diari. Ten things that happened in the Akademi yang diringkaskan, walaopon Asteo panjangkan jadik sejam ponya programming with the repeat of the same commercials.
1. Tau ler menang VIOS, tapi perlu ke endorsement lagik tuk keta. Dahler setiap konsert da sebut, ni nak waste entah berapa lama preaching about the merits of the car. Tak perlu! Later ada lak Petals endorsement (which I don't know ler how it ties in...) - read kat bawah. Hanya mangkuk hayun yang gedik nak tengok pompuan cantik jer yang akan TERUJA (bahasa familiar tak?) melihat che ki ni dalam Akademi.
2. Lemau si Lotter tak paham konsep advertising katanya to believe that the car ad which show a Lock Ness like monster planting a decoy of a VIOS cut-out. Sodih! Was it a stupid joke yang tak kena, or is he just an imbecile?
3. Sebab sebenar Astro masih lum bagik lagu Inggeris to Faizal has become more apparent. Mamat ni memang horror with no initiative to learn as far as I can see. Ni ler the education system in Malaysia... dah abih sekolah pon haram leh at least decent speaking English. Camna nak maju... so much for globalisation. Tengok masa second Diari, dia ala miming jer cara group song tuh dipersembahkan. He looked like a badly dubbed Japanese serial ler molot gerak lain, lain lak dinyanyikan yang sebenarnya. Tuh ler pasal... masa sekolah sibok wat benda lain. Nak ngadu konon...if you had SPM level punya English pun, takkan lyrics To Sir With Love pun tak mampu. Lain kali tolong ek Astro wat ujian lisan English and Bahasa Melayu dulu ek sebelom benarkan bebudak tak prepared ni masuk Akademi. Ni baru group song... lum solo lagik. Zila dok Jempol pon, usaha leh gak... ko ni nak bising jerk. Dah nampak pemalas streak in Faizal and I am starting to get turned off. Seb baik aku terlampau nyampah ngan Haziq as well as Amirul dan Lotter. Besides, antara semua lelaki, I still think Faizal has the best vocal... so sabau jerlaa...
4. Syafizawati has a problem with utilising the student's abilities. Dah sora budak tu sengau... sengau tuh pun leh sedap. But in Lotter's case memang ler sengau merengek, so what needs to be done is tell him HOW to use it within limits lor. Susah ke. I think Syafizawati is a decent vocal teacher, cuma dalam konteks time frame Akademi, dia tak pandai nak compact kan the syllabus to fit the Akademi's period of studies. Time dia rehearse Da Bomb, dia berhati sangat nak follow Syafi punya advice, sampai takde tune lak... takkan dia nak nyanyi melody nbacking vocals lak camtuh??? Bak kata Fiebie, dalam minggu keempat keatas baru nak hissing, minggu keenam baru nak tell them what slurring is and all.
5. Velvet ler paling relaks for this week because her assignment takde pon pose any challenge. Camna selection lagu ni? I think there are a lot of areas Velvet still needs to work on, sebab in some parts, she is starting to look as lazy as Faizal.
6. Haziq is still horrible, dan sesapa yang tengok Diari pon aku rasa leh anxiety disorder. Gegemndang telinga aku begging for mercy ler setiap kali mamat ni buka molot dia. I seriously think he has a problem with swallowing his voice, sampai projection dia (or lack of it) sedikit sebanyak impacts his performance. Yang tambah sodih tuh mamat ni cam takleh tima pengajaran fakulti. Why bother then kan? He has the singing ability of a wedding singer. Baik dok nyanyi je kenduri kawin kat Sungai Ramal or wherever kat Johor dari dia feeling kat Akademi. Well... selepas Mawi, mungkin orang Johor nak promote anak lahir negeri meka kot... but I think Haziq is definitely not the one. Bak kata orang Johor... LEMAU!
7. Sebut anxiety disorder, as usual, kena la layan scene Haziq nak merayu simpati ngan condition dia. Shape up or ship out I say!!! Kalau tak mampu nak belajar, berambos! To become a singer or an entertainer, either you have it or you don't. And the only thing he has is the ability to sakitkan telinga orang. Malas lak... I see Syafi and Ajai preaching the same thing over and over again tapi tak masuk his thick skull. Hope Astro are paying the faculty enough to stand all this crap (but with the number of sponsors dok masuk tiap ari takkan takder kot kan)
8. Which brings us to matilah Petals softenmer pun nak tompang advert katanya ngan endorsement Andrea Fonseka. Cantik ker ko? Aku ingat agik tengok Miss Universe time dia compete. Malu jer.... And they brought her in.. for? Strictly production eye candy yang membuang masa. Takde kena mengena ngan fokus Akademi. Kalau nak sebut pasal nasihat dan motivasi, dia sendiri takde background, and in fact... kan kita da ada Dr Eveready? Aku rasa cam production takde idea ler... either that or sodih nak layan setiap sponsor sampai tiap ari ada je scene camni. This seems to be a major problem this season. Kalau musim lepas sakit ati sebab Tirai Akademi Fantasia MEMBOSANKAN ngan bebudak digunakan endorse every Tom, Dick and Harry to sponsor, nampaknya musim ni Diari jadik vehicle sponsor. Tak suble langsung! Agak-agak ler sikit... Da tengah program tuh ada iklan berapa lama. Perlu ke program tuh pun compriosing of iklan lagik.... whacked tul!
9. Merasalah sapa kata Farhan takleh gelek. Start jer nampak light-light dia gelek keras sikit, but through her effort, I'm proud to say that she's done it. Not too bad... tak sepower orang kurang waras sorang ni ler, but baguih gak.
10. I am sick and tired of how sometimes meka wat cliffhanger ending yang nak bagik suspen konon, tapi tak suspen pon in the end. Erm... so who cares ala ala ada sign No Girls Allowed tu? Cepatlah Haziq, berambus dari Akademi supaya aku leh rilek dari nak wat ulasan harian Diari (kalao dia kuar ada lak Lotter dan Amirul lak). Hish...

Jodoh kan soal antara dua orang. Apa pun penyebab sebaliknya, bukan semua akan dapat tahu, dan spekulasi tak penah nolong sesuatu keadaan. For me, sesiapa yang bukan star tapi pandai nak wat statement tak abih, especially kalao pompuan... erm... korang pepandai ler sendiri tafsirkan. Anyway, ari ni start blur gila. Aku patut gi tengok wayang tuh 10.30 pagik, tapi entah kenapa teringat esok jer benda tuh. Cis!!! Pastu ingat press conference kul 2pm today, turns out aku sampai venue termalu sebab benda tuh esok! Damn! I got something fantastic in the mail today... kang aku cita apa dia. Nak gi tea break dulu. Aku balik opis je pening. Malas lak wat update. MLm kuar ngan 'dia'. Yeahuuu!!!!! Seronok ler dapat mengubat rindu. Tapi sibuk dok ngubat rindu, gatal lak bontot nak dok lelama sebab masa kita gi dinner, kedai makan tuh takde lak Astro. Ampeh tul... akibatnya ter miss lak first part of the Diari. Abih je dinner, isap rokok sebatang dua, balik ke rumah 'dia' tuk tengok Diari. Aiyak... patut ler aku takde love life, masuk time Akademi Fantasia punya musim je, yang disayang pon dilupakan... Didn't really pay attention to the second Diari either... cuba perasan most of the kids sucked big time. Lotter especially... Aku dah mula muak ngan pilihan lagu basi dari Akademi, and even worse, the wrongful assignment of each song. Aku sakit telinga masa meka nyanyi To Sir With Love, because lagu lama tuh aku leh ingat dari dulu, and it never sounded so horrible. Malas tulis pepanjang... layan angau teringat 'dia'.
Music is beautiful, no matter what language it is in. It transcends the boundaries of race, religion, and even that of a geographical nature. Here's my list of songs from Indonesian pop and rock acts that are on my playlist, some of which are my all time favorites. Some old, some new and some just bloody timeless. Enjoy the sounds and listen beyond the music and the words - and instead tune into the emotions of each tune. No matter what genre they may be.
Say NO! to the hateful and malicious nature of some who choose to close our local music market for fear of competition simply because they are unable to compete, and unwilling to even try.
Support Malaysian music. Don't kill it by being ignorant. Music is ever evolving, and our local sound is slowing being rendered irrelevant. This is my protest against those who choose to be anti-Indonesian music, simply because SOME of our local talents and recording outfits are too lazy to innovate and create. This is the sound of Indonesia today. Are we up for the challenge to evolve and produce better music in healthy competition?

I'm simple, and yet complicated.
It's as simple as that...but then again, perhaps not.
My life is kinda like my job, an oxymoron. Try this one out for size...'ethical journalist'. See, told you so.
Anyway, here's a brief (yeah right!) intro to my life.
I'm a proud Malaysian (and I mean literally!), of Chinese descent. I'm Christian (Roman Catholic!).
I'm kinda whacked. I believe in piercings, dyed hair, black nails, silver studs. leather and spiked accessories and oh... tattoos...body art is just that...art. Apart from anything else that will make me worth staring at.
Right now, I have a total of seven piercings (three on lobes - two left one right, left ear cartilage, nose, lower lip and tongue) with three taken out on brow (one ripped) as well as three tattoos with more to come.
Forget the tough exterior, cause I believe in hugging my parents, crying when I feel like it, require tender moments with my significant other, and I appreciate my friends. As Kim from America's Next Top Model said it best. "What's my secret? I may look tough on the outside, but really, I scream like a girl!"

I 32 as of last July 17, and it's past the mid life crisis come early for me as I struggled to deal with the coming of age thing. I am working as a freelance senior entertainment journalist, a job which I have been at ever since I decided to quit college, two subjects short of graduating. I was taking my Diploma In Sound and Audio Engineering. Until recently that is.
Now I do a lot of freelance overall talent consultancy which includes image and communication. I am also in the process of starting my own company klubbkidd Sdn Bhd, which is producing its first TV show from a format that I have created myself. The show will most likely be on air sometime end 2008.
I have donelive sound production for some concerts and shows and a little bit of studio work in hopes of becoming a sound engineer with what I've studies, when I turned back to my first love, writing.
Was doing general news, specialized awhile in politics, did a little features, crime, business and sports and dabbled in related journalism fields before finally settling into my current position, thankfully, entertainment, the perks of which is doing what I've always loved (writing and indulging in music) and also backstage passes to meet my favorite acts. It's eleven years now, and I'm still golding it there.
Looking back - whatever's gone on in my life - it's not too hard to be positive and look ahead, with more pleasant of the memories to make the journey a little easier.
And these very memories which I cherish so, are the reasons behind why I started blogging.
The friendships and variety of relationships I've been through, allow me to highlight the mistakes I've made and how not to repeat them, not to compromise my principles too much for love, and also a balance in sacrificing my ego, and how I must learn to be stronger in the face of adversity.
So I've never figured myself to be a real hoot.I pace on day by day, occasionally skipping, sometimes with just a little jaunty bounce. More often than not, I go smack! either on my rear end (which needs more meat) or flat on my face.Life treats me well, I suppose, so I shouldn't gripe. I am stll my own hero - that's positivity through self-affirmation for you.
