Apapun, started the day on a fine tip sebab caught Rockstar : Supernova punya results show.
As expected the horrible two in Ryan and Zayra ada dok kat antara bottom three throughout the show. Tapi tengok, setan punya, diselamatkan lak... yang last meka terselamat!
I suppose when it comes to the general public, it's not an exclusive virus for people to vote NOT based on talent. So bab Akademi Fantasia camtuh,turns out it continues raging everywhere as any idiot who can afford a phone bill or to top up their mobiles have the freedom to decide the lives of other people.
FInal bottom three at the closing of the show were Chris, Phil and Matt... not too surprising choice of trio.
I'm just glad my favourites Dilana and Lukas were in. Tak sia-sia undi meka. Takyah bazir pon SMS to do it. Just online...
Lukas kind of rubs me the wrong way now because of his cockiness, but I suppose he's sure for his talent... just hope it doesn't get any worse.
Not so interesting to watch was the Diari Akademi Fantasia. On Diari today, I was nearly turned off. I seriously think the shows are going to get worse. Mana taknya, I seriously don't see any progress from any of the kids.
Six weeks, and stakat tuh je ke usaha mereka?
And the have among the best professionals teaching them lagik tuh...
I have to point out Velvet is disappointing me more and more, sebab walaupun dia maintain, still she's not living up to her full capabilities.
Faizal? Predictable!
Aku time Syafizawati tengah guide Faizal tuh, aku rasa Ajai patut ada and they had to work in tandem because while she's guiding them on technique, si Ajai should be present sebab dia leh guide performance, and the applications of the techniques itself.
Farhan lak jadik model Friskies... kenapa lak tuh. Bebudak ni kena psycho dah ke nak promote benda pun ke?
Yeap, they brought Rizalman in... but aku tatau ler how it helps keja Yoda. Sebab I think the production patutnya bring on board professionals yang patut lebih arif pasal showbiz. Fashion in entertainment ni... bukan semestinya designers tau sangat. Tak semestinya meka ni fashon designer meletop, they're in touch with the changing trends of fashion in music.
What is needed is professional image consultants.
Tapi jangan ler cam musim kedua bak  Mahani Awang yang tak kuasa tuh da.
Tapi nak wat pe, Akademi Fantasia sedikit sebanyak reflects the reality of our industry.
Which is lack of professionalism. Yerla... mak andam pon leh gelar make up artist professional katanya.
Moving on... the kids buat rehearsal To Sir With Love very thre high school production. Hancus tol!
Lah di da... tengok si Haziq practise ngan Ajai, sakit ati tol. Budak ni main-main je keja. Degil takleh dengar tol apa yang cikgu ajar.
Sesi love our local ,music heritage busuk sangat. While it's a good effort, but execution makes it come across as such a waste of time.
Amirul preferred to spend his time giggling. There is no real effort of the kids to appreciate the knowledge handed to them, but I suppose it's hard to blame them.
Haziq je nampak assume this air of superiority ngan berangan sebab tuh forte dia. Sib baik editing talk banyak tonjok muka toya dia.
Second Diari, repeat of the first in terms of mistakes in execution. Si Sham ajar bebudak nak layer Menujuk Puncak punya vocals.
Problem is, while he took nto account the choreography and how the kids would deliver with that in mind, I think the important think should have been working with Linda and Corrie sebab baru nampak the whole execution in full.
Time Angguk-Angguk Geleng-Geleng aku sakit ati tol tengok Faizal and Lotter. Lirik pun tak sure, step tarian pon tak betul. Padan muka si Linda ngamuk ngan meka.
Tunjuk lak scene Amirul rosakkan lagu Dewa. Horror!!! Memekak je ngan tarian orang meracau.
Eh eh... guests masuk. Lefthanded. Man Kidal... Tom dan Yan. Sesuai... Man  Tom Yan..  (gelak sat). Erm... apahal ler rambut meka ni skema. Tak up to date ler rockers kita ni.
Aku tak paham showtime with Lefthamded amd Ramli Sarip. I thought it was pretty self-indulgent, walaupun aku fan Papa Rock.
Eh... korang perasan tak muka Haziq versi Nash yang geek?

Kalau nak kata whether it's working for brand awaress, aku stuju ler, but for all the wrong reasons.
I know me, myself and I for one, takkan sekali-kali melangkah dalam Marrybrown sebab kebodohan teramat mencemari setiap episod Diari Akademi Fantasia ngan iklan bangap meka, followed by their dumb mascots entering the Akademi tak abih-abih.
And that's not taking into account it's one of the crappiest fast food outlets around (next to A&W)

Tak creative at all.
Not only they bring the dumb mascots in like the students are some retarded five year-olds that would be excited at the prospect of some guy dressed in a cheap animal suit, sweating away and undoubtedly stinking away... they bring stupid party hats and all.
Aku rasa kanak-kanak istimewa je bebudak ni.
Konon wat ala party. Cmon ler.... meka ni umur berapa?
And people are supposed to take them seriously?
Akademi Fantasia is seriously lacking direction dah skang...

So far I found the worst is the geek who tries to pass himself as a rock God in Ryan. Sodih mamat nih... totally screwed up Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls which is like one of the best songs of all time for me.
While the most horrendous sounding singer is definitely Zayra. I know she's trying to bring the latina out in her element of rock, but she comes across as a Shakira wannabe B grade porn actress who writhes around the floor with little vocal talent. And she definitely ain't rock. Abih hancur Bring Me To Life Evanescence. I think Farah does a better version of it (I'm serious!)
Tapi among the duds, I think Dilana kicks ass! She's my favourite female contestant followed by Jill.
Of the male contestants, I think Lukas is the best in terms of fitting the rockstar package.. he's also got one of the most impressive resumes of the lot. Closely following him is Josh, tapi aku rasa sora dia not in sync with the direction of Supernova which is metal edged padahal dia soul funk and blues direction. Then there's Toby which is quite decent too.
I don't know if I'm going to be able to blog so much about Rockstar : Supernova, tapi aku nak gak sebab aku memang minat abih.
Rockstar shines as a reality programme because it exposes more on the musical direction of the star wannabes, with them involved with the creative side, more often than not rearranging the material their way to bring out their individuality rather than any other series yang semua disuap.
Plus not to mention, the fashion of the contestants is edgy and relevant. But camtuh ler kalao takyah nak deal ngan Yoda as head of wardrobe kan?
Meanwhile... I have to just throw this into my posting. My two favourite contestants for Rockstar : Supernova!

Dilana was simply electrifying in her weird evil manic possessed troll doll inspired take of Nirvana's Lithium. Manic abih siot!!!! Definitely tuning in for the the results show tomorrow. So far not much suspense because too many of them in the mansion still. once chop down to about 10 then best ler.

 

One of the reasons why watching Rockstars is not as painful sebab takde ler bak sponsors berduyun masuk ke rumah meka tuh kan.
I mean everyone can basically complain until the cows come home, but somehow the producers of the Diari cam tak reti yang orang TAK INGIN tengok sponsors gila glam depan kamera.
It does in any way contribute to the whole scenario of teaching nor does it enhance the experience for the viewers ler nak layan orang pathetically pushing the products to the kids.
If anything, let the sponsors know this... I AM TURNED OFF ANY PRODUCTS WHICH ARE SO BLATANTLY ADVERTISED!
Right now we already have a list of bebenda da nak avoid... Adabi, Gardenia, Toyota, Petals, Friskies, Marrybrown... confirm aku tak kuasa nak layan.
Now I have Sendayu Tinggi to add to the list for wasting entah berapa minutes of my life watching their pathetic publicity stint. Kalau da sibuk nak promote produk meka, takyah ler Kevin Zahri in the first place kan... I mean as it is, the whole list of sponsors for the junk food pun dah contradict his being there kan?
Yang dapat diselamatkan Hotlink (sebab da penaja utama nak wat camna kan...) as well as Osim (sebab provide me with comic relief tiap kali tengok iklan i-Gallop tuh).
Hope producers don't take it as nanti leh lak promote kedua produk sponsors ni gila babushka punya dah ler.
Tapi if you're as irritated as I am, mai kita send a message out to the advertisers yang kita nak beramai-ramai BOIKOT produk apa yang boringly forces us to endure some shameless endorsement. yang tak perlu. (cakap je... tak boikot pon, saja bagik meka sakit ati. I don't bother with even one of their products so far - no wonder they need the advertising)
I know programmes need ler endorsement to survive (or in this case make money) tapi tak perlu ler sampai camni.
Tengok cam American Idol, they work out the whole thing, by having the contestants figure in a commercial taped specially of them singing a tune.
That's not too subtle, but it doesn't turn you off either kan?

Kejutan membawa RuffEdge pun tak dapek nak tolong Lotter who still sucks big time.
The other person who sucks eggs is of course Amirul, followed closely by Haziq. Aku seriously pity ler sapa yang AFUNDI meka ni. Not only they're not going to get their money back, I have this feeling that sapa abihkan duit kat meka bertiga ni seriously will regret their actions some time later.
And that pretty much sums up the interesting things to note for the past two episodes of the Diari today.
Bad huh? Tapi nak wat per... salahkan ler yang wat program tuh kalao da segala membosankan.
By the way... what the hell is that No Girls Allowed thing for again? Tak paham tol sgnificance of that and RuffEdge and all. Talk about desperate for a cliffhanger...

Aku malas nak ulas Diari sebenarnya, tapi sebab tugas tak selesai tuk nak 'usir' yang tak patut dan tak layak dari Akademi, maka tugas tuk nak jalankan kempen out with Haziq, Amirul and Lotter, lum selesai (especially Haziq.
Aku rasa lebih bernas kalao aku letak by point form, so here's my observations from tonight's Diari.
Ten things that happened in the Akademi yang diringkaskan, walaopon Asteo panjangkan jadik sejam ponya programming with the repeat of the same commercials.

1. Tau ler menang VIOS, tapi perlu ke endorsement lagik tuk keta. Dahler setiap konsert da sebut, ni nak waste entah berapa lama preaching about the merits of the car.
Tak perlu!
Later ada lak Petals endorsement (which I don't know ler how it ties in...) - read kat bawah.
Hanya mangkuk hayun yang gedik nak tengok pompuan cantik jer yang akan TERUJA (bahasa familiar tak?) melihat che ki ni dalam Akademi.

2. Lemau si Lotter tak paham konsep advertising katanya to believe that the car ad which show a Lock Ness like monster planting a decoy of a VIOS cut-out. Sodih!
Was it a stupid joke yang tak kena, or is he just an imbecile?

3. Sebab sebenar Astro masih lum bagik lagu Inggeris to Faizal has become more apparent. Mamat ni memang horror with no initiative to learn as far as I can see.
Ni ler the education system in Malaysia... dah abih sekolah pon haram leh at least decent speaking English. Camna nak maju... so much for globalisation.
Tengok masa second Diari, dia ala miming jer cara group song tuh dipersembahkan. He looked like a badly dubbed Japanese serial ler molot gerak lain, lain lak dinyanyikan yang sebenarnya.
Tuh ler pasal... masa sekolah sibok wat benda lain. Nak ngadu konon...if you had SPM level punya English pun, takkan lyrics To Sir With Love pun tak mampu. Lain kali tolong ek Astro wat ujian lisan English and Bahasa Melayu dulu ek sebelom benarkan bebudak tak prepared ni masuk Akademi.
Ni baru group song... lum solo lagik. Zila dok Jempol pon, usaha leh gak... ko ni nak bising jerk. Dah nampak pemalas streak in Faizal and I am starting to get turned off. Seb baik aku terlampau nyampah ngan Haziq as well as Amirul dan Lotter. Besides, antara semua lelaki, I still think Faizal has the best vocal... so sabau jerlaa...

4. Syafizawati has a problem with utilising the student's abilities. Dah sora budak tu sengau... sengau tuh pun leh sedap. But in Lotter's case memang ler sengau merengek, so what needs to be done is tell him HOW to use it within limits lor. Susah ke. I think Syafizawati is a decent vocal teacher, cuma dalam konteks time frame Akademi, dia tak pandai nak compact kan the syllabus to fit the Akademi's period of studies.
Time dia rehearse Da Bomb, dia berhati sangat nak follow Syafi punya advice, sampai takde tune lak... takkan dia nak nyanyi melody nbacking vocals lak camtuh???
Bak kata Fiebie, dalam minggu keempat keatas baru nak hissing, minggu keenam baru nak tell them what slurring is and all.

5. Velvet ler paling relaks for this week because her assignment takde pon pose any challenge. Camna selection lagu ni? I think there are a lot of areas Velvet still needs to work on, sebab in some parts, she is starting to look as lazy as Faizal.

6. Haziq is still horrible, dan sesapa yang tengok Diari pon aku rasa leh anxiety disorder. Gegemndang telinga aku begging for mercy ler setiap kali mamat ni buka molot dia. I seriously think he has a problem with swallowing his voice, sampai projection dia (or lack of it) sedikit sebanyak impacts his performance. Yang tambah sodih tuh mamat ni cam takleh tima pengajaran fakulti. Why bother then kan?
He has the singing ability of a wedding singer. Baik dok nyanyi je kenduri kawin kat Sungai Ramal or wherever kat Johor dari dia feeling kat Akademi.
Well... selepas Mawi, mungkin orang Johor nak promote anak lahir negeri meka kot... but I think Haziq is definitely not the one. Bak kata orang Johor... LEMAU!

7. Sebut anxiety disorder, as usual, kena la layan scene Haziq nak merayu simpati ngan condition dia. Shape up or ship out I say!!! Kalau tak mampu nak belajar, berambos! To become a singer or an entertainer, either you have it or you don't. And the only thing he has is the ability to sakitkan telinga orang.
Malas lak... I see Syafi and Ajai preaching the same thing over and over again tapi tak masuk his thick skull.
Hope Astro are paying the faculty enough to stand all this crap (but with the number of sponsors dok masuk tiap ari takkan takder kot kan)

8. Which brings us to matilah Petals softenmer pun nak tompang advert katanya ngan endorsement Andrea Fonseka. Cantik ker ko? Aku ingat agik tengok Miss Universe time dia compete. Malu jer....
And they brought her in.. for?
Strictly production eye candy yang membuang masa. Takde kena mengena ngan fokus Akademi. Kalau nak sebut pasal nasihat dan motivasi, dia sendiri takde background, and in fact... kan kita da ada Dr Eveready? Aku rasa cam production takde idea ler... either that or sodih nak layan setiap sponsor sampai tiap ari ada je scene camni.
This seems to be a major problem this season. Kalau musim lepas sakit ati sebab Tirai Akademi Fantasia MEMBOSANKAN ngan bebudak digunakan endorse every Tom, Dick and Harry to sponsor, nampaknya musim ni Diari jadik vehicle sponsor.
Tak suble langsung!
Agak-agak ler sikit...
Da tengah program tuh ada iklan berapa lama. Perlu ke program tuh pun compriosing of iklan lagik.... whacked tul!

9. Merasalah sapa kata Farhan takleh gelek. Start jer nampak light-light dia gelek keras sikit, but through her effort, I'm proud to say that she's done it. Not too bad... tak sepower orang kurang waras sorang ni ler, but baguih gak.

10. I am sick and tired of how sometimes meka wat cliffhanger ending yang nak bagik suspen konon, tapi tak suspen pon in the end. Erm... so who cares ala ala ada sign No Girls Allowed tu?
Cepatlah Haziq, berambus dari Akademi supaya aku leh rilek dari nak wat ulasan harian Diari (kalao dia kuar ada lak Lotter dan Amirul lak). Hish...

Aku sakit telinga masa meka nyanyi To Sir With Love, because lagu lama tuh aku leh ingat dari dulu, and it never sounded so horrible.

Started the day late today sebab nak recover tak cukup tidur over the weekend ngan konsert, pastu abih rush gi Institut Jantung Negara selepas berita mengejut, then ke Kulai awal pagi esoknya, balik lak keletihan teramat tapi tidur lewat.
Bangun cam takde keseimbangan langsung.
I decided not to go for the press conference Salima (jangan spekulasi ek), hanya sebab aku keletihan teramat, dan memandangkan office pun tau aku sampai leat malam sebelum kat opis, of course I was excused.
Petang sikit gi ERA, sebab nak interview Salima. Jumpa abang Badrul yang menjadi host aku selain dari Linda kat konti. Sempat sembang ngan Salima.... tunjuk blog... (gelak jahat)
Apa? Korang ingat aku tak berani tunjuk ke?
Hah... aku jenis selamba. Apapun, seperti tiga musim Akademi Fantasia yang lepas, I will only say this once more... once meka ni keluar Akademi, things are different (for most of them ler)
Sebab perwatakan yang kita kenal melalui TV kan? Kekadang yang sebenar lebih elok... ada juga yang lebih buruk. Apapun we start back with a clean slate to get to know the real person... and Salima was pretty fun.
Adakah aku menyesal dia kena singkir? Tidak juga... sebab I thought in terms of the competition, her time was up.
And dia tak kecik ati pun lepas kita sembang. Merasalah dia gelak tengok gambar promo IKEA, apa lagik terkejut ngan dedahan persaudaraan baju dia ngan baju Princess Leia seperti didedahkan oleh orang gila.

To be honest, hari ni punya Diari aku kurang memberi perhatian sebab masa tu ngan Farihad dan Zul tengah sok sek.
Kira ujian pertama aku, cukup tak aksi dalam Diari narik minat aku tuk stop sembang ngan kengkawan tuk pay attention to the TV.
Ternyata gagal ler sebab I found myself more interested in our conversation.
Didn't feel at all charitable masa tengok bebudak... bak kata ratu speku Star Wars, mesti bebudak anak yatim lebih teruja kalao Mawi yang muncul.
Aku tak pay attention meka wat zirafah tuh, tapi gelak kemudian dalam sembang peminat wardrobe Astro bila dia point out that ZAIrafah tu bernama Aliya MaYODA. Matilah aku gelak terguling-guling. Motif nama sesuatuh jer???!!!
The turnoff for the day was Amirul. Birthday tak birthday... budak ni has to go (mintak dia eliminate sekali ngan Haziq berambos kuar Akademi)
Time tak wat muka toya, nangis lak.
Blah blah blah... tenaga pengajar mengkritik @ memuji kerapuhan setiap pelajar. Matilah osteoperosis!!!
Fed up tul tenaga pengajar sibuk manjakan student. I blame last concert punya failure to attract because of the lack of real effort show by all the students, tapi bebudak ni riang ria McDonalds je kerana tenaga pengajar tima apa saja alasan meka tak perform up to expectations.

Waste of time. Starting to think Diari Akademi Fantasia is a waste of an hour a day....
Still, saja kena tune in kan, kalau tak, takde benda lak nak carut. (gelak jahat sambil angkat kening sebelah maintain macho)

Tahniah ler pada Diddy sebab earlier today... eh yesterday berjaya top the charts.
Kali pertama dia nombor satu.
At 3am, results dah ubah lagi, with Faizal - 17%, Diddy - 17%, Farhan - 16%, Amirul - 15%, Lotter - 13%, Velvet - 13% and Haziq - 9%.
Aku sekarang pening. Sebab aku ngaku Diddy is not exactly the worst and thus does not deserve elimination. Farhan memang la tak deserve to go pun.
Faizal? Walaupun aku geram dia tak perform up to mark... memang dia pun patut stay la... sebab Amirul dan Lotter as well as Haziq are doing much worse.
Now... the problem is... Velvet dok atas Haziq ratu gigil sikit je.
Which means, kalau minggu ni sekali lagi posterboy Parkinsons terselamat, Velvet mungkin jadi mangsa.
Mmm... ni kena ubah strategi undian demi nak selamatkan Velvet.
My endorsement for AFUNDI skang stands at Farhan, Faizal, Velvet and Diddy. Tiga lagi, lantak ler kalao korang suka, but please oh please, vote for these four sebab they are the LEAST deserving of being eliminated.
Kalau antara tiga tuh berambus, aku leh lagik rilek... aduh...
Entahlah... pada betina-betina gersang yang ngundi... takyah ler.. korang bukan dapat merasa pung.
As for yang pakai money power, takyah ler... budak tuh takde aura cam Mawi walaupun senegeri. Perlu ke?

Faizal got an easy one... which I really find disturbing. Perlu ke lgu Kembara bagik dia. Motif sangat lak selection lagu kali ni... perlu ke Kembara. Hish! Cam lah industri kita ni ketandusan lagu nak bagik....
Farhan should be fun... cause I do want to see her tested, so it's going to be nice to see how dia leh gelek ker tak.
Haziq? Aku hanya mampu tergelak je. Aku ingat blog aku dan orang gila je hamun si Haziq punya anxiety disorder ni, tapi rupanya pihak Astro pon pandai nak wat lawak ek. Ni lirik first verse lagu Seruan dari Lefthanded yang jadik tugasan dia.

Sesuai ler gigil-gigil ni Haziq kan master. Dahler, aku fed up sebab minggu ni aku menunggu dia atau Faizal mendapat lagu omputeh, tapi tak kesampaian hajat nampaknya.
Instead, Velvet yang dapat lagu English. Penting ke? Haiyo... very the makanan ruji. Cuba bagik Faizal ke Haziq... ada berani?
Lagu "cantik, menarik, tertarik..." bakal menjadi hancur thanks to Lotter and the bonus songs?

Angguk-Angguk Geleng-Geleng ni... erm... huh.. I don't know lah. Tuk aku tak sesuai langsung. Nak ajar bebudak vocal ni bagi lagu menjerit meracau. As for To Sir With Love, lagu tuh lembab dan tak sesuai tol live performance.
Tatau ler Sham rearrange camna, but somehow I doubt that it'll be fantastic.
Erm... dah ler.. nak balik dulu. Ni nak kul 3.30 pagik da ni. Esok syukur aku relax sikit bab keja.
At least abih time je aku dapat jumpa 'dia' yang aku tak kesempatan walaupun berkali janji dalam seminggu ni, dan tak ketemuan even longer because the week before gi Singapore.
Esok pagi nak gi tengok preview Jatuh Cinta Lagi, filem yang dibintangi Kris Dayanti. Nanti aku letak review sini ek so korang tau besh ke tak filem ni.
Pastu ada PC lak tuk Azwan punya Cit Cat. Pastu rilek jumpa 'dia'! Aduh... bila rindu tak terubat dengan perjumpaan, tenatnya diri mengingati dan terkenang-kenang.

**Update petang Ahad - Aku telah kembali ke Kuala Lumpur bersama Freddie dari Maestro dan Rozina dari Astro. Sempat mengikut upacara pengkebumian Mawi's later father kat Tanah Perkuburan Islam Felda Taib Andak lebih kurang 10.45 pagi. Beberapa warga Maestro dan Astro turut menghadirkan diri to pay their last respects.
Selesainya everything, we all moved to rumah jiran Mawi di mana ibu Mawi is staying for the moment. Nampak rumah separuh siap yang menjadi idaman allahyarham... sedih terkenang dia tak sempat melihat rumah itu sempurna didirikan.
Lega hati dapat menyampaikan takziah pada Mawi, dan duk bertanya keadaan dirinya. Jelas pemikiran dia tengah kusut ngan pelbagai isu yang melanda, disamping pemergian ayahanda tercinta.
Apapun... be strong Mawi. As a friend... I wish you all the best.
Untuk pengetahuan peminat Mawi, dia akan direhatkan oleh Maestro selama tiga minggu, jadi setiap aktiviti yang dijadualkan dalam tempoh tu akan dibatalkan atau ditunda.

I'm sorry... what was that?
Kita kat konsert keberapa ini... mmm... hampeh!!! Tak ada peningkatan langsung. If anything, the students seem to be regressing rather than progressing. Bazir beras je dok dalam Akademi kalau setakat performance cukup makan.
I don't have a clue to how they're going to survive in the real world after this...
Malam semalam punya konsert was one of the WORST of the whole season, especially since it was already the fifth, tapi standard cam minggu-minggu awal and not halfway as it actually was.
First of all... aku nak komen bab fashion sebab aku tetap sakit hati ngan baju. Pesen kali ni improve ler sikit... tapi mungkin atas sebab aku dengar kali ni da masuk consultant bab tuh.
Tapi tetap... kalao korang perasan, skirt pendek Velvet coupled with the boots tak kena langsung sebab menampakkan betis dia yang ala pemain bola. So unflattering. Meka ni tak study ke bebudak sebelum dress them up?
And how about the other two examples di bawah ni?

Erm... tapi aku suppose meka anggap kelas ler baju tu sebab lampu tuh daripada IKEA punya catalogue. Still it was horrible. Tapi aku rasa tak ler sekeji seperti Fiebie katakan dia sebahagian dari tema Star Wars.
Even my favourite si Farhan pun not spared. Dahler masa show pakai baju tidur. Time Menuju Puncak dia tukar ler baju kerana perlu menari, terus pakai baju yang ala transperent light-light complete with this flowy material yang just was everywhere. Last-last nampak ler lurah dendam time menari. Nasib baik ler pakai bra itam. Cuba kalau masa time Ekin dulu (ingat tak review aku masa tu) yang baju nampak bra murahan ala Bee Dees - or worse RM10 3 helai kat pasar malam kat Keramat.

Pening... pening... but on with the show lah. Hmmm... malas sebenarnya mau review kali ni sebab tak hold aku langsung performances from these kids ngan ala tak kuasa nak perform gitu... someone please slap some sense into all of the remaining ones sebab almost all of them NO PROGRESS!
Kalau ikutkan, Haziq tambah teruk... Farhan pun down sikit... (tapi dimaapkan sikit asalkan tak melarat sebab dia memang meletup da pun) dan yang lain sama jer spiralling downwards uncontrollably.
And here's... the review.

Diddy - Biar Betul (Akar)
He was a little out of breath, but all in all it was a rocking performance. This time, aku rasa his intensity, yang usually buat dia nampak rigid and so calculative (merasalah Adlin kebas dari review aku dan Fiebie tapi tak diberikan kredit) worked in his favour.
Definitely the best performance from Diddy so far but I sort of agree ngan Juliza Adlizan punya komen that his main problem is the lack of identity when he's onstage.
He's one of the remaining few in the Akademi yang masih mengalami masaalah ni yang telah mengakibatkan penyingkiran Zila, so here's hoping he'll prove me wrong before it's too late.
Rating klubbkidd :  (Patutnya tiga setengah bintang, tapi tolak setengah sebab dia terkejut tak maintain time bunga api meletup)

Salima - Because Of You (Kelly Clarkson)
Time Salima nyanyi nih, aku rasa cam dia nyanyi lagu nasyid ketika mulut disumbat ngan selipar jepun.
Her problems were massive in terms of enunciation, diction... etc.
Ok, so she had problems with language. But let's progress from there.
Nyanyian dia slurring tak abih dan terlalu mendayu tuk something that was more along the lines of releasing this pent up emotion and frustration.
Tak guna ke kamus yang Dr Eveready bagi? And kalau pakai takkan ler nak translate word for word... apapun baju dia one of the worse!
Letak lilin ke cahaya apa kat celah kaki dia dah dia leh masquerade as a tanglung untuk Pesta Kuih Bulan.
Kesian Kelly Clarkson kalao dia dengo Salima dan tengok baju dia pakai yang tak kena konsep lagu... mesti garu pala sampai berdarah tertanggal kulit pala.

Haziq - Juwita Citra Terindah (M.Nasir)
Start pun cam singing a badly composed lagu rakyat rather than this lagu pop yang tengah popular.
Tahap kesumbangan dia, korang kena dengar sendiri lah. Aku cakap pun, ada yang stok pekak badak tak caya kan? So kalau dengar... eloklah. Kerana dia, aku rasa from now on, aku kena pakai ear plugs je bila gi Dewan Sivik nak tonton konsert.
Yang paling tak tahan tuh signs of anxiety disorder tetap! Erm... takde ke aksi lain? Lain kali mintak ler Ajai pegang rotan dok sebelah dia. Perform jer dia nak wat aksi Karam Singh Walia dia, rotan sekali... komen si AC pasal Haziq rupa terseksa dan teraniaya, aku rasa lebih sesuai digunakan pada para penonton, both kat venue dan melalui TV kerana have to endure that horrendous thing he passes off as singing.
By the way, aku rasa Salima keluar minggu ni pun akibat dia pun sudah di infect ngan anxiety disorder la katanya. Yes, it's contagious! Mintak-mintak student lain tak kena... tapi mengikut gambar diatas, jelas terbukti it's too late!!! Quarantine meka cepat!!!! Lock Haziq up in solitary confinement and throw away the key!!!!

Ok... it's official. Velvet is just getting too lazy to make an effort.
She is too dependant on her vocals alone yang dia tahu cukup bagus sampai tahap koreografi pun dia malas nak ikut sangat.
She even dropped a word early on.
Vocally she was ok ler tapi dia cam overconfident bila dia sampai some difficult notes that dia leh leka and screw up easier parts.
She lacks punch, and that's sad sebab aku rasa potential dia is quite overwhelming (just like the sight of betis dia yang the wardrobe department seolah nak highlight)

Faizal - Terharu (Sweet Charity)
"Ko ni cam Ricky Martin - puna kerusi".... kata AC.
Erm... tak silap aku last week dalam review da carut Harun Salim Bachik kan pasal he made that comment. AC has been doing his homework I see... lain kali bagi lak credit if you have to plagiarise apa-apa ek.
But it was deserving sebab Faizal can't dance for nuts. Kadang-kadang tengok swagger dia ni cam drunken master aje. Camna tuh... lebih sebulan dok Akademi  jalan pun masih senget!
Vocal ok ok jer... malas nak komen bab tuh sebab takde peningkatan takde penurunan, tapi dia ni... erm korang tengok replay. Dia ni paham lirik ker?
Dari penari empat orang tuh, perlu ke nyanyi line tertentu kat penari laki (gelak jahat sat! Tu komen cik Fiebie kat aku ler... so salahkan dia kalao nak marah)
Malas... I think it's a waste of time and words to continue. Aku rasa Faizal ni memang static, but the audience doesn't even care. He could fart onstage and people would still vote him (*sigh*)
Aku tetap sokong Faizal, tapi aku tak suka tengok dia terlampau selamba without taking things more seriously.

Farhan - Biarlah Rahsia (Siti Nurhaliza)
Honestly... aku kecewa sikit ngan Farhan punya rendition.
It wasn't as good as I hoped it would be, sebab walaupun aku negative gila tengok Diari sepanjang minggu dia struggle ngan lagu tu, I still hoped for the best from her.
Still, it was a challenging song for her sebab unline orang cam Salima, dia tak boleh sangat lagu mendayu ni.
All in all, she didn't stamp her superiority on the song, and quite a few parts where she visibly slipped, tapi in a group of eight yang the best is only mediocre, Farhan was still the best of the night.

Apa ler komen yang semakin 18SX ni kat Akademi Fantasia???
Hah? Kembang kuncup katanya. Intelligent ler sangat. Geez... those witty comments were really impressive ler.
Sheesh.
If you guys are looking for what I think of the performance of lagu bonus in persembahan berkumpulan bebudak ngan lagu Serasi Bersama dendangan asal dari Nurul dan Ajai, serta Menuju Puncak, sori ler but I really didn't have the mood to even look at the performance.
Time nak masuk break pas Farhan, kami dapat berita menyedihkan mengenai pemergian ayahanda tersayang Mawi... apa lagi...kami semua terkejut beruk.
Walaupun mungkin meriah ker haper bunyi lagu mengundang kami yang tahu untuk melupakan seketika benda tu... it was impossible.
And it stretched until Aznil made the announcement... I'm sorry but again I say  couldn't gather my thoughts and focus on what I thought of the two performances, so memang tak sesuai kalao aku nak komen.
Aku one thing for sure tak setuju ngan komen Adlin pasal pemilihan lagu. Memang aku pun sedikit sebanyak rasa some of the songs hambar, but still I do not see what's wrong with testing the versatility of the kids.
Mungkin tahun ni nampak ketidaksesuaian lebih ketara simply because almost all of the kids TIDAK VERSATILE!
Aku ingat lagi dulu... masa musim kedua. Sedangkan Bob pun lagu Amuk leh bawak ngan bagus... apa pun irama.
And most of the kids were that way. Think back.
Kali ni... semua bebudak stereotype able to carry only one genre at most (tu pun sumbang mahram punya nyanyian).
So jangan disalahkan lagu... salahkan pembawanya.
I said it... and I will say it again. These kids are simply not improving.
At this rate, I don't see them performing any better even sampai final nanti. Biar konsert pertama atau sepuluh, tetap meka camtuh gak.
Bila nak improve?
The worst part is, bila meka kuar kang, kalao attitude dalam Akademi da camtuh, bayangkan bila meka da keluar, da jadik artis. Keras pala nak ikut cara sendiri, tak nak ikut tunjuk ajar.
Artis camtuh ker yang kita nak?
Astro better worry because perangai bebudak tu, will make people think more than twice sebelum menghabiskan duit AFUNDI kalau keadaan ni tetap berterusan.
Okler... da kul berapa... nak ciao balik. Tak tidur ler alamatnya ni...

Camna ek undian Haziq tinggi sangat? Very the Misteri Nusantara.
Am I happy Salima has been eliminated? Honestly.. yes. Memandangkan tinggal Haziq yang turn me off, I hope that he too will ikut ler jalan Salima soon.
But then again... that's MY personal opinion of their worth to the Akademi.
Apapun, aku nak katakan sini... sebab ramai masuk sini aku nak caj tuk setiap kali korang masuk blog.
Setiap kali masuk korang diwajibkan AFUNDI SEMUA pelajar KECUALI Haziq at least sekali seminggu.
Aku tatau ler korang wat ke tak, tapi resit doa dimurahkan rezeki korang mengiringi (cam sial je aku ni...) Cadangan aku ni adalah supaya memulakan systematic elimination untuk pastikan Haziq keluar sebab dia je yang nampak sangat ada outside inteference dalam votes, tetiba melambung mendadak walaupon burok persembahan!

Aku ari ni pening ngan keja... dan sekali ngan beberapa masaalah department lain yang menggangu kehidupan aku.
Still whatever lah... I think I'll be going for a holiday soon nak get away from the stress. Sebab susahkan diri pun nak pening naik blood pressure because of the demands of work, what for kan?
Mmm... tapi sempat ler gelak ngan laporan Diari pertama  Release stress terus.
Aku tergelak time mamat chef dari Adabi masuk tuh.
Pasal table ettiquette tuh memang la bagus ajar meka. But seriously I don't think that they'll be layng out any dinner tables anytime soon. So how much time was wasted on teaching them all that. Cooking too... perlu ke.
I mean, yerlah kan... nak tie in for Adabi's sake as a sponsor, but it was silly lah to take it to that extent.
Ten weeks in the Akademi, so little time for them to learn the necessary skills, pastu meka kena put up with all the commercialised crossover elements yang aku rasa menyemak jer.
Everything done could have been summarised into this.
"When you are sitting with tons of silverware, keeping it safe would be recognising the soup spoon, pastuh, work your way using your fork/knife/spoon from the outside in with each course."

Kesian muka Faizal the most sebab cam lost jer bab tuh. Tapi at the same time, si Pejal ni kira very the domesticated gak ek. Tima masak, layout table, folding napkins semua... aku tengok dia dengan penuh semangat. Sesuatu tul...
The other half of the Diari fokus pada kritikan tenaga pegajar khususnya Ajai pada persembahan pelajar yang cam ting-tong... main-main sekor-sekor.
Erm... last-last si Ajai ditunjuk dipanggil masuk opis Ramli Sarip and meka ala ala bergaduh mulut kat dalam. Tu ler cliffhanger bab suspen sebelum Diari kedua malam ni.
Apapun, aku rasa salute ler kat Ajai sebab he did what he did (if kalau betul la dia panas sebab penurunan prestasi bebudak tuh).
Tak paham tul ada gak orang-orang (terutama langau/nyamuk kat blog ni) yang dok feeling nak manjakan bebudak tuh sangat. Famili ke fanatik ke... ingat lah sikit, bebudak tu kena kerja keras untuk 10 minggu je (kurang kalao di dush keluar awal).
Dah sah-sah keluar meka ada potentsi bergelar bintang, perlu ke manjakan?
Ada artis dalam industri ni hempas pulas nak naik bertahun punya usaha. Bebudak ni masuk je Akademi dimanjakan dengan segalanya diberikan.
All they have to do for ONE week, is learn one song, perform lagu tema, and later mid-way like this coming concert, learn one bonus song.
Susah sangat ke?
Pastu kena kritik, terus emotional breakdown. Kang bila jadik artis bebetul lagik teruk... leh tahan ke?
Kalau takut dilamun ombak... kan? You can finish the sentence off yourself. Ni sedikit sebanyak ler penyebab industri kita tak maju-maju.
Segala pak tahu yang beriya-iya never been in the industry reducing the professionalism sebab they THINK they know this and that.
Per per jer... nak gi melantak tunggu Diari kedua. Suspen gak sikit pasal Ajai dan Ramli Sarip ni cause I know Ajai is professional in his observation and execution in teaching. Kalau dok posisi dia sapa tak frust... demi kamera je kena kurang tunjuuk kalao tak ada ler mak bapak, sedara mara atau fanatik yang emo melupakan yang anak meka masuk Akademi Fantasia, dan bukan Taska Ribena.
Tengok Diari part kedua... mmm.. memang betul ler... Ajai ngadu kan.
Aku malas mnak ulas dan carut lebih ler Diari bahagian kedua... tapi aku nak stress the importance of this scenes.
Sebab the frustration of the tenaga pengajar ni... can be felt by the scenes showed. Just what are the kids doing... kenapa meka seolah main-main je lebih.
Aku komen sini tuk berapa ari da... ada je fanatik and family kan yang carut aku balik... masaalahnya tengok ler kegeraman tenaga pengajar sendiri.
Oh by the way... ada berita sensasi yang ada kena mengena ngan Akademi Fantasia on the way. By next Monday latest... nanti aku update sikit ek.
Apa pun... tu je la aku nak say about this Diari... cause I just wasn't too interested to bother with the rest of the scenes.

First of all.. I am tired. Very tired. From work... and personal strains.
Sorry if anyone expected a posting semalam, tapi aku tak sempat lak bagitau that I was going to Johor.
Berlepas pagi semalam, and ni pun baru sampai dok abihkan keja sikit, before I have time to blog.
Pergi ke Johor bukan nak enjoy tapi atas dasar kerja, launching album Zarina, Mahkota Jiwaku kat Yayasan Warisan Johor.
To cut short things, it was fun, tapi tiring ler sebab rushing kan... dok sehari je.
Kalau nak tengok pics yang ada, erm... tak banyak sebenarnya, tapi ni ada pics bloggers kurang siuman (bukan Fiebie yang memang mentally disturbed).

Si botak ada show malam sebelumnya in Johor Bahru as well and I thought it was nice of him to support Zarina on her album launch. Camtuh ler semangat keluarga Akademi Fantasia!
Cuma sayang sepanjang event tuh, technical problems tak abih-abih.
Sakit jiwa dibuatnya. Mamat yang jaga sound system dahler wat muka poyo jer (padan muka malu kena jeling satu dewan)... lum agik MC toya yang so loves the sound of his own voice.
Malam aku ponteng nak gi dinner show Zarina tuk stay kat hotel sebab ada Astro Ria kan... sempat ler layan first part of the Diari.
Boring sangat... repetitive so I just went to bungkus dinner sikit and came back in time for Muzik@Ria. Puas ati tengok music video Caramu over the programme's exclusive preview... sekali tengok guest malam semalam semua kengkawan on air. Nikki, Zahid and Zila were just so much fun along with Yasmin Hani. Sakit ati tul tak dapat join...
Anyway, dok jauh sikit walau sebentar da memacam...
Dalam kusut fikiran aku mengenai someone, another problem came up. No biggie... tapi just irritatingly taking up my thoughts. Then siang tadi on the way, abang Badrul call nak cakap something, and sebelum end up call, cita pasal Fiebie tup kedai.
Mmm... kalao nak tau, Fiebie pun going through a rough patch in dia punya life... so I think the thing is only temporary. Apa lagi keep checking on of the best blogs around ler. Dia akan come back punya... aku yakin.
Tengah update blog ni, sambil tengok Diari pertama... Isn't it obvious that kalao even Lotter and the rest of the gang leh spoof Kevin Zahri and the only word in his caveman vocab, "CARBS", doesn't the production of Astro think that something's wrong??? Kalau kita dok luar ni nak kritik memacam bebudak bangang tatau takper... tapi kalau da bebudak tuh tak kuasa camna?

Diddy with the camera... erm... kind of juvenile, but kind of revealed what we have always thought about these kids for the longest time. Farhan aku risau sikit, sebab dia tak penah dengar Biarlah Rahsia sebelum ni, so dia cam unsure a little. I hope she works out the kinks, but no major problems with her.

Diddy was more spirited, and thus better than usual.
Another take on Velvet. Somehow I'm worried for her as well. I mean, she's still fantastic no doubt, tapi kekadang dia ni erm... cam having too much fun. Hope she doesn't get carried away.
Lotter on Bila April, the song suddenly changed. I don't know, tapi aku rasa aku kind of like it. Mintak-mintak dia deliver betul ler masa konsert.
Haziq? I'm sick and tired of him. I think he repeated "sempurnakan cinta ku" so irritatingly. Somebody just throw him out... puh-lease.
He has no maturity in performance or even character. Why is he even there? Next time kalao program camni nak amik contestants bawah 21 tahun, erm... make sure as long as they not emotionally below 21 dah.

Masa time practise choreography untuk lagu bonus, erm... is it just me, atau nasi lemak Salima semakin ketara? Dia cam saja carik T shirt two sizes too small. Nyata ler dari start sampai skang... yang pakai tudung pun lebih seksi dari yang pompuan lain yang tak. Tak caya? Tengok Diari kedua ari ni... and that purplish lavenderish t shirt dia pakai (if the matching loud yellow tudung and running shoes don't blind you first)

Menuju Puncak was better, tapi masuk konsert kelima masih tak better, baik ada penyingkiran beramai-ramai kan? Orang biasanya konsert ketiga da flawless gitu-bebudak ni masuk konsert kelima baru nampak not bad camna?
