Malas
nak ulas Diarrhea. Surprisinglly, the list of songs are not all that
this week sebab meka nak wat minggu bertema (and we all know what a
success that usually is). Apapon, it'll definitely make it easier
for me to choose between going for the seventh weekly concert, or
Anugerah Industri Muzik on the same night (tu ler pasal...degil...tamau
ngalah ngan AIM). Oh well... I pity the kids. Victim of the station.
Kang kuar kang....the industry not only finds it hard to accord them
credibility, but also now they're seen as upstarts because of
production timetables. Yes...yes...don't blieve what I have to say.
After all...history nly speaks for itself kan. Tapi ada someone
supposed to tell kala Saturday ni jadik ke tak for something els. Yes,
this Saturday planning nampaknya padat sikit. So have to just wait and
see which plan akan follow. Malas nak update panjang sangat, but had

most parents yang takde keja, take their kids for a joyride. And also
the most common reason why so many nasty things happen. Leaving yur kids unattended in the car.

anak dia yang I suppose was about three or four years old in the car.
The doors were locked, s takde ler kidnap attempt ke apa. But it
was irritating (apart from budak tu asik tekan horn keta memekkan aku
yan dok sebelah punya pump), because anything could have happened in
the the couple of minutes si ayah gi membayar kat kaunter.
Hish...mana ler tau...terlepas handbrake ke...keta berjalan sendiri...I
mean a million and one freak accidents could have happened. Stupid
parent! They really need to start a regulation requiring stupid
people to be trained before breeding. I bet that would stop a lot of
problems. Argh!! Nak mandi sat...ada something I want to share later...with more pics...

sedap je tekan walaopon cam...erm...moving on... Alamak...intro koboi tuh mengikatkan aku pada Salima dulu punya horrific wardrobe last year!!!

Haziq kicik ni da overdrawn. Prolonging a good idea. Still cute though. Penyampaian
ngan menggunakan ngan someone like Jalaludin Hassan actually pointless,
and even more pintless was Salih Yaacob, even though I have to admit it
was kind of funny. Tapi kerap sangat da tengok lawak dia pasal broken

Rizal - That Thing You Do (The Wonders)
First of all, ada ke si Aznil kata lagu ni lama lama? Hanya kerana
rentak dan setting lagu ni dalam pilem dia ingat lagu ni laman? For
your info, the movie made in 1996, was set in 1964. Tu je...bukannya
dia lagu lama pon! The original song, was a hit in 1996 and peaked at
number 42 in the Billboard Hot 100. Moving on... I have to say
Rizal improved a little in the sense that English dia walaupon
laughable, tapi still not as bad as Aswad as predicted. Vocals? For a straight forward tune, despicable! And ending dia pun fumble over the words. Rating pam jamban aku kurangkan minggu ni tuk effort dia.
No prizes for guessing kenapa Jee dan Ogy bagi blue light special bagik
dia Rizal nih walaopon like du-uh sangat performance dia. Ogy kata he finally did it. I wonder what he did finally? Make them all merembes???!!! It wasn't THAT good. Sheesh!!!

Halamak....apa pulak kejutan bak si Erra yang moka tambah cam Umie Aida
ni (she did look a lot like Umie with the wig and all) Erm...oh well, if nothing else, prove yang kalao takde, ada style pon leh carik makan kan. Tak tahu nak cakap apa, sebab enjoy performance dia yang relaxed ith minimal problems and just a little bit lacking in punch. Ok...I love Ogy...and aku suka Shawal punya show, tapi overdose lak si Ogy puji. Aiyo... Tak leh la aku terima Shawal hanya dapat tiga nyalaan lampu biru kalao si Rizal pon leh. Keji!
Heliza - Nafas Cahaya (Misha Omar)
Thank you kak Kathy...but it's not about you nak pot pet pasal apa
yangt dia lalui. Ni malam bintang erm...takyah ler cakap. Cait...buang
masa ler. Bak masuk ke dalam Diarrhea jer la, apa nak masa show live ni
nak meleret nih! Hish! Erm..predictable sangat ler nak wat konon kategori pencalonan sapa nak jadik Saliha ni...a joke that fell flat. Looking very Erykah Badu-esque, si Heliza ni ada problem yang aku rasa not as I expected, but predicted some time back.
Aku mula mula rasa dia cam tak mampu nak bak lagu ni sebab vocal dia
cam tak kesampaian, asik sumbang ketika practise, tapi she proved she
could. MASAALAHNYA...what I had a problem with, was not the patchy
starting yang wonky habis, tapi dia feel nak main bunga sangat. Awat
mula jer dah overdose tuh? Haiyo! Heliza, perlu ke? As a result of
that, not build up for an already monotonous song with no peaks. Still, she was comparatively quite good kalao banding yang lain. And yet, dia tetap tak dapat any blue light ke? Keji la...Rizal leh tiga...tapi dia tarak. Merasalah now everyone can fly katanya with pakaian kak Ogy.Very the Air Asia...or was I the only one yang perasan that?
Aswad - Yang Sedang Sedang Saja (Iwan) Di mana ada Erra, di situ lah ada Hans. Tunggu je ada Umie Aida sekali kot. Erm...Aswad punya performance ni is very revealing. We know he can't sing or dance. He's got no prominent hairline (bila la nak cuci beret dia tuh???!) He can't dangdut, he can't rock, he can't do English... he can only rock kapak meleleh.

Walaupon baju yang Candy pakai tuh cam pakaian nenek nenek glamer gi
pasar, but aku tak nampak sangat because she was great onstage!!!
Takyah komen...she kicked the butts of all the others! Plus, bonusnya
takyah tengok muka kakak Candy posing sakan bila pengkritik memberi
komen nak posing. Erm...less is more kata Ogy. Why does that make me thnk of Zana.
Apapon...this was THE best performance of all night, with no flaws and
almost pro-like! put her on a stage with orang lama pon dia leh shine.
Ebi - Jujur (Radja)
What can I say...it was not perfect. But I don't care!!! Waaopon minus
one dia memang programmed crap and for me that brought about a little
bit of a jarring feel when his voice and the music were put together,
still... Ebi for final!!! Tapi leh tak potong rambut dia sikit agik. Heh... Humprhhh...tapi tetap Rizal dapat tiga ayes kan...bodoh tol. Si Ebi show better pon...erm...
Dafi - Meteor Garden Theme - Qing Fei De Yi (Harlem Yu) Yer...Anugerah Wirama berterusan agik. Yawn...tak paham tol!!!!
Kalau nak sangat orang bagi pesanan, bagi je dalam Diari. Ni konsert
NGOK!!! Apa lak buang masa je nih. Takut underrun ler tuh. I thought
Aznil's attempt to be funny towards the musicians was a stereotype
statement that was racial typecasting. Small minded joke... Erm...kenapa seluat dia cam MC Hammer sangat ek, ala ala carrot cut bahagian bawah. Bughok bonar!!! Vocally, minor slip ups of a whispery lullaby yang hardly challenging. Lousy grasp of lower notes, and boyband-ish at best. How original...nak interact ngan Jee. Come on lah...perlu ke. And erm...kenapa selected students ni dapat ler memacam live
accompaniment yang nampak mahal jer nih. Hish... kesian orang cam Mila
tuh tak surprise apa apa langsung! Suka statement Hattan, yang belakang tuh diamlah... heh! Tapi...kenapa bab peminat Dafi je camtuh? Kalau nak pilih lagu yang sesuai ngan lagu dia, aku rasa lagu Tommy Page ker yang bosan dan one hit wonder jer kot. Ogy, like to Rizal kata...you did it!! Confirm...threee out of three again. Merembes ler... Taking cue from Farid Kamil later, "tak bagus takper...janji lain macam". I know two or three pelajar yang that saying can be applied to. Honestly...not that bad...but not that good either. (dapat bonus one star untuk musicians sebenarnya)
Mila - Drama (Nikki, Ning&Yanie)
Nampak sangat production tatau bab pasal sora power ngan nama nama
listed...tapi sesuai lawak cam kesiyal ngan Linda Jasmine. Siot je tau
nak bagik gelak. Erm...Mila didn't do as bad as I thought she would
based on rehearsals, tapi my gawdddd...what the hell were those three
zebra-like Beetlejuice characters yang terkinja kinja tuh. Azab ok...
And kalao bab operatic, yang higher notes tuh, patutnya memandangkan
Candy takleh buat, patutnya meka jemput Nikki nak sedapkan agik lagu
yang music memang azab minus one. Still it was good sebab she was able to perform the song, tapi character tak cukup. Now this was deserving of the four blue lights ler.
Lagu Bonus - Awas (KRU)/G.I.G(Elite) What the #$%^&*(!!!! Pakai raincoat lak...murahan tol! Nak ikot Hasnol ke KRU nih. Bangap tul le. Takde bajet ek wardrobe?
Awas couldn't be more bad that KRU live, so ok je. Shawal dan Ebi were
the standouts, but the rest in Aswad, Rizal dan Dafi, at least takde
ler lupa lirik ke haper, so ok ler. Busuk tul...step hancur and backing dancer ni cam buang masa je sebab meka pon tatau choreography. Dak
pompuan semua better ler. Candy intro problem sikit, sebab low note dia
weak sikit sebab she was dipping tapi for some reason tak sampai.
Mila was the best!!!! Awmigawd...walaopon lagu ni busuk, and brainless
pop, she made it fun, cam si Amylea ubah Hak Milik Kekal dulu.
Heliza pon cam semput sikit...aduh. Dia dan Candy cam nyanyi lagu lain
lak. Pening aku. They were reduced to back-ups while Mila is starting
to become my favourite among the girls.
So Rizal keluar. No surprise. Tuk aku it was only a matter of time
sebab dia da terlepas elimination for the past three weeks narrowly and
this week, dia yang memang the weakest link. Minggu depan is where
the real battle begins! Sebab starting from next week, it's anyone's
game. And I mean anyone can go out...nothing is impossible. Kepada
peminat tujuh pelajar yang masih ada dalam Akademi...keep voting and
don't get too comfortable with the votes standing...no matter what. Ni kejutan bila tutup undian at the end of the concert. Aku macam tak caya.

jalan je, tapi nak sampai kena pusing satu round. Keji...tapi cantik
tempatnya. This is definitely one place aku nak try out in my own
spare time sebab food dia sedap...and the place has a nice relaxed
ambience. Not to mention tempat ni takde ler crowded sangat sebab if
I'm not mistaken, Northpoint ni bahagian atas ni luxury apartments or
something. Kira residence ler...tempat orang duduk... so it's quiet, not packed....dan yang pentingnya, senang gila nak dapat parking Sampai je join everyone for dinner.
Aku ajak Halim join skali alang alang dia da abih keja. Refused to
engage anyone in conversation sebab the passing of Cleo, sebab rasa
near to tears je bab nak cita pasal dia. So decided to take my mind off it for the night...
Anyway...erm...it's a nice place...so kalao korang nak a nice romantic
dinner perhaps...consider this place. Cayalah Nik pandai carik tempat!
Sebenarnya feeling cam nak wat food review (yerlah tuh...cam ler aku
penah), tapi malas amik banyak pics sebab seronok berbual ngan
kengkawan sampai takde masa tol nak amik any sort of pics. Tu pic
atas tuh taken dari courtyard area depan restaurant tu. Very strategic
location, just a stone's throw away from MidValley.
After we were done, kami satu group pun naik ke atas tempat tayangan tuk layan Diarrhea.
Sampai je ruang yang dijadikan bilik tayangan, we were laughing out
heads off, sebab this is what the overhead projector was shooting on
the huge screen placed at the front of the room.

jer dan bukan seperti spekulasi tak bayar bil. So we gabbed about every
topic pasal tuh dan nih sambil menunggu masa, dan service Astro tuk di
sambungkan.
Alang alang kan, sambil tunggu si Cicakman nak wat kemunculan tuk layan
pemenang competition Sinar FM yang co-organiser tuk event ni kami
banyak sempat borak. Hah...jangan tatau Cicakman lambat bersiap do
da kol 9.30pm pon tak turun turun tuk hiburkan pemenang pemenang
competition yang hadir. Ni hah some shots of Cicakman yang tengah bersiap. Dalam menunggu tuh, sempat layan borak ngan Diya sat.
Bebudak lain pon ada...like Afiq, as well as Farham Noni and Fatin yang
aku lom jumpa. Cuma yang missing in action si Dekna yang ada programme,
so tak dapat join. So kira dia je budak aku lom sempat jumpa.
Kesian Diya kena buli sebab statement bebudak kata taste kat dia dalam
Diarrhea a couple of days ago. Heh...dia sendiri tatau sebab dia kata
Astro kat rumah dia da kena potong so dia sendiri pon tatau apa berlaku
kat Diarrhea. Jaga Diya...kang ada yang gatal tuh...tapi...erm...ko
gayut ngan sapa ek masa kat phone tuh (oops...terpecah lobang!) Amik
ko...baru sebulan da kena potong...keji kan Astro kekadang (matilah aku)
Diarrhea kicked off with nothing interesting. Except for this scene
yang Aswad proving what I said about his simian-like abilities bila dia
kena jadik monyet (bukan aku cakap ek...kan ko da dapat tengok sendiri
tuh) Amacam? Banyak tak persamaannya (salahkan diri sendiri sebab wat
aksi tuh). Forward....bosan...ala..sambungan sesi memasak dari semalam ngan si cikgu memuji tak abih abih broken English tuh.
Shots of Linda...eh...apa tuh...ada yang makan walaopon makanan lom
sempat dihidangkan.... elok sangat lah tuh....alamak...si Aswad
agik...ni cam nak fokus dia je ni kenapa. Oh...rupanya bebudak punya pre-performance evaluation ek.
Ebi dan Candy sounded good, though kena pick up just a little bit more.
Why is Heliza starting out on such a high note? Terus straining.
Dapat tengok Shawal layan lagu dia for real for the first time this
week. Aku risau gila sebab timbul segala urat dia ok nak kuar suara.
Why is his projection so bad...aduh. Mila too seems to be
struggling like hell with Drama sebab tak sampai while si Rizal lak ok
ler...kalao banding ngan Aswad masa 'I'm washing' tuh. Still...tu ngan
Aswad je...sebab kalao perbandingan with anything else, hancur ler.
Lagu bonus aku pelik sebab bebudak laki ni cam tak penah dengar
layan lagu Awas. The girls did better, but then again considering kalao
Elite dulu mampu bak lagu ni live, anyone can lah kan. Heliza I
think should just loosen up sebab dia tatau the simple delivery needed
for a brainless poppy tune. I really see her having problems this week,
mintak mintak konsert dia mampu ler. Eh...akhirnya Roslan Aziz
merasmikan pejabat pengetua buat kali pertama selepas enam minggu nak
jumpa one on one ngan bebudak tanya masaalah (masa evaluation tuh tarak
lak). Aku rasa banyak kalao nak cakap tapi bebudak ni pon tak
larat kot. Heh....Eh cantik lak lamp yang sebelah tuh...mana nak beli
ek (momentary shopaholic distraction!). Tergeli sikit ngan Roslan
gelarkan diri dia abang...lagik tergeli ada yang ngumpat rupa orang tak
sedar diri sendiri (rewind balik tengok sapa aku maksudkan) . Cup! Korang perasan tak bentuk pala si Aswad... cam pakai wig nilon murahan...ala masa dia cakap ngan 'abang' Roslan. .Hah!!! Dan korang perasan tak pelajar laki sorang berjalan lenggang ketika si Heliza nak bagi kopi kat Roslan Aziz.
Hah...apa ni...hey....malam Jumaat rasanya apa yang kecoh kat dorm dak
laki. Terkebil kebil...aaaaahhh!!!! Ada gak yang wat hal...pastu nak
kata orang lain pernah buat kan. Alamak...amik ko promo Cicakman.Perghh!! Tak perlu ok sesi nak lakon aksi scene Cicakman.
If anything, at least ler it realised my thoughts of something I'd
never expect to see in the Akademi. I never thought I'd see it in the
Akademi, tapi ada gak sesi tarik rambut. Si Dafi tarik rambut
Mila heret dia across the floor gitu time meka lakon Cicakman versi
meka. The best action scene and the rightful winners of the silly
challenge! Walaopon....cam adik adik gaduh. Si Aswad jadik Cicakman cam Ungkaman lak...sheesh...how silly can he get some more lah!!! Paling horrible acting.
Si Shawal dan Ebi lak cam Hindustan bergaduh...sound effect je
lebih....Erm...sesi motivasi dapat Dr Love rilek kan nak mintak bebudak
tu motivate each other with a little role playing. Best kan...sebab ada
pay cheque senang senang je. Oh whatever...layan Cicakman sampai
abih, which was about midnight, and kami semua pun cadang nak gerak ke
Uncle Don nak mamam...lapar lagik katanya. Sebelom gerak, sempat amik
satu pic bebudak yang eliminated together, minus Dekna. Ni dia...
Bersama Halim we were joined by Juan,
then si Kechik, Moks and friends. Ramainya...aduh...dua meja sambung
tak cukup lak...sebab jap agik si Afiq dan Farha pun join (ye lah tuh
kejap...call kata nak join tunggu sejam baru muncul). Sempat ler
sembang panjang with Afiq and Farha....si Afiq aku da penah chat with,
tapi si Farha lom, so panjang lebar ler cita ngan berdua tuh.
Sebab bertemankan laptop (speed baik punya, aku download 11 programme
serentak including America's Next Top Model cycle 8 episode 9 yang baru
kuar), kami pon discuss ler pasal Akademi Fantasia. Sempat tunjuk
blog ngan pics dan carotan aku. Selamba je....Afiq ngan pics poyo...si
Farha ngan aksi Karam Singh Walia (ingat lagik pic tuh?) Not to mention Aswad's aksi, Rizal punya middle finger...banyak lah. Then discuss pasal perception...
Meka sikit pon tak terasa... which is always a laugh for me sebab
sometimes, peminat yang overdose. Yerlah...ni kan TV programme,
assumption by perception is unavoidable, and part of the programme.
Lain ler kalao da kuar kenal yang actual person. Baik atau burok sorang
kat TV, tak menggambarkan peribadi orang yang sebenar. Blah blah
blah...makan minum da abih, ramai agik kengkawan join...sambung lak
cita memacam ler...sambil sesi berbalas teka teki. Farha ni yang paling
banyak sora...memacam ler teka teka dia bagik. Last last sedar, da

Today was a sad day. Selepas berminggu ketahui he was sick, and ramai,
termasuk diri aku tengah pikir camna nak larikan diri dari kesibukan
kerja untuk melawat dirinya,...now's it's too late.
Pada mereka yang kenal Azman Ahmad, or better known as Cleo, yang

Aku ari ni rileks, with not much work, tapi apapon, belah malam sempat ler catch Diarrhea tadik Don't really bother about Jolyn Tsai ke haper nama minah ni masuk Akademi nak ajar si Dafi nak sebut betul betul. Berterabur gak mamat ni, but ok ler. Ada niat nak improve, but that's not quite enough is it...hopefully remember gak yang eventual result yang penting. Heh...tapi yang besh tengok si Ebi ni wat keja rumah. Banyak ler yang hajat nak nak masuk minang pasni. Syarikat bas kaya ler pasni memacam rombongan tempah. Rizal nampaknya akan perform lebih baik dari Aswad bab lagu English ni sebab sebutan dia masih leh ditolong ler. Still horrifying gak ler nak layan dia but benefit of the doubt. Mila memang akan tercabar vokal dia this week because nampaknya vocals strained nak project herself, which I have no idea why sebab dia ada range to cover it. Aku bukan je pejam mata, m,alah tup telinga skali jap, sama seperti aku akan buat ketika konsert kang. Candy was amazing...and I think her performance will be on to look forward to, and Ebi pun ok gak. Two of the night's best possible best performance for konsert yang akan daytang. Seperti si Mila, Heliza pun merisaukan because I don't know why she's struggling with Nafas Cahaya. Apapon aku mintak dia mampu ler perform this song, and prove it finally that she's worth it for the final. Sapa pemilik syarikat produk kecantikan nih. First of all, mak bapak aku ajar, masa makan, it's rude to speak at the table. Depan rezeki kan? Erm..tapi biasa la..kalao dok kat Bangsar punya area makan pun, ada je travelling salesman nih kan yang walking around peddling their wares. Ni kira lebih kurang lah. Teruja aku nak feeling poetic sangat gak ler...ni my original creation diinspirasikan oleh sesi tuh, "green is my phlegm, and mucus, when I feel the creeping horror eventually overwhelming me, and results in the urge to hurl at the very sight of you." Best performers mendeklamasikan sajak ni, Candy dan Dafi, sebab Candy begitu keras dan masculine, dan Dafi begitu lembut in delivery. Role reversal gituh. Let's not mention Heliza, sebab walaopon dia ok ngan lenggok dia sedap, tapi dia terpaksa nak partner ngan si Aswad. Paham pahan ler kalao reciting in English ni. Ebi, Shawal and Rizal were horrendous simply because takde originality, sumbang nak hancus and haram paham sepatah. Aku sempat nak berair mata Shawal diketemukan ngan adik dia.That was really touching, and the BEST moment in Diarrhea selama ni. Aduh....terus dalam tak sedar tercapai handphone nak AFUNDI lak. Ok ok...that's not the reason to vote, and talent should be it...merasalah pastu lak sesi urut agik. Merasalah orang lain berair lain kan!!! Kalau tak naik AFUNDI pasni aku tatau ler. Erm...was it my imagination yang tukang urut dia senyum lain jer ker apa. Amik ko. Erm...don't get Linda's class, tapi per per ler. Cam tak betul lak budak budak ni menari. Bak kata Farihad, si Ebi memang sesuai menang tarian terbaik ngan tarian istimewa ciptaannya yang patutnya diberikan nama EBI-lepsi. Hik...kelakar lak Ebi. Fast forward, meka ramai ramai nyanyi lagu tuk mama Heliza...tapi bunyi nyanyian cam, "Oh mamakkkkkk!"Last scene terpaksa si Khairul Najmi membuktikan dia membuat keja tuk justify gaji dia kat Astro ni ngan jadik tukang masa tuk bebudak sambil selang selikan pujian, "Niceeeeee...." bila Rizal menyanyi Argh!!! Nak makan la...toodles.
Er...that was what I had to put up with it with Diarrhea hari ni.
Aduh....I think it was good that kak Fati was teaching them about
pemnghayatan dan sebagainya, tapi I wonder how many of the kids
actually paham. I kind of like Ebi's acting sebab walaopon Rizal orang
perhatikan dia memang leh lakon, aku rasa Ebi lebih bersahaja. But
leave me alone tuh was one of the of the many lines they used to
understand about stressing n the right words to express emotion, and
the manner of expressing to allow for variety in their delivery. Wonder
if they understand the applications and the implications of what they

Oh well at least Mila improved on Drama by the end of Diarrhea. There's

Ujan tak henti ari ni, traffic jam everywhere. Dari rumah, ke opis,
then kena rush ke Astro lak for something with AC Di Sini. Beberapa
orang bloggers berhimpun for the night including aku, mrmanager, Budiey sekaligus join up ngan sultanmuzaffar dan Ajami. Pas abih impromptu meeting tu, rushing lak dari sana sebab ada yang bising nak layan Diarrhea, so ngan dia head ke rumah Budiey yang menjemput ke rumah for the programme.
Elok sangat...yeay....Astro bak masuk street performer! I love Ujang,
but honestly kan, takde kena mengena tol ngan what they have to do on
the stage or with their careers. Then masuk gak bab iklan tuk
Admiral dan New Balance. Aiyo! Perlu ke....Urghhh!!!! Today takde drama
dalam pilihan lagu and meka ni semua subdued sikit. Kesian lak tengok
Ebi ngan mata dia sakit...teringat lak masa aku sakit mata ari tu.
Merasalah naik hantar Gucci sepasang kat Akademi (er...just a joke) Lagik kesian tengok rambut dia...aduh bila meka nak get him a haircut....

supervise...hish! Pasal bab teguran, cuma Adnan Abu Hassan je layan
nak komen. I love kak Fati, but takde kena mengena ngan performance
actually for me...Khairul Najmi lagik tak perlu berada sana. He should
be there SEBELUM bebudak tu buat perfomance, to prepare so meka tak
hancur cam si Aswad dan Dekna punya English. Linda Jasmine pun tak
relevant kat sana, dan makes it worse. Apa lak dia leh mintak bebudak
tuh tapis komen buang yang buruk. How they supposed to know what's good
or not for them to amik or buang when meka ni lm sampai tahap tuk nak
tahu apa yang bagus atau tidak. That was just silly. Semua nak puji,
apa yang kurang elok pasal performance meka ni. Cuma Aswad dan si Rizal kena tegur (sesuai pon)...tapi yang lain? Hurmmppphh...camna nak improve??? Oh well..biasa la kan....nak baik je...so tatau ler how they going to improve. Eh. Nak keluar makan.

Met my sis before the concert. Ari ni dia akan pindah ke new place in
Bangsar, belakang opis aku je. Cantik lak tempat tuh. So semalam petang
jumpa dia pasal dia nak bagik kunci. Dan also na pass dia duit
sebab, for once, I am putting aside my savings to make sure aku tak
sentuh. Hah...semalam kali pertama aku reached my withdrawal limit kat
ATM ok, kuarkan RM5,000 tuk first round nak invest. Akak aku jadik
broker aku (cam real je investment lelebih lak) Eh lari topik...ni
reviewnya... Then rushed to Dewan Sivik. Reached at about 8pm. Tapi
entah...cam tak kick sebab ramai kawan-kawan ke Kuantan untuk Fiesta
Media Idola. Ok...on with the show... The intro was contrived. It
was colourful but bosan sikit sebab berterabur choreography, dan tak
vary sangat sebab lagu panjang jadik boring sikit after a while. Aku
tak paham kenapa meka nak pilih lagu Hindustan, knowing these kids
can't deliver a perfect performance. Bukan senang tuh....tapi meka leh
rasa budak budak ni mampu. Hasilnya? Nan ado!!!! Tak kuasa yang
pakai sarung pala dan rambut palsu sintetik dan juga yang srang
agik yang membosankan tahap 10 pada skala Richter. Keji sangat...
Overall, the intro, aku noticed Dekna for some reason yang outstanding
sebab ada something yang stand out. Heliza is quite a good dancer
surprisingly, the best among the girls sebab aku nampak fluidity of her
body movement, Shawal dan Ebi pun menyerlah sangat among the boys.
The girls tenggelam sikit overall, walaopon time Mila ke depan solo
dance break katanya... still it was all cam tenggelam sikit.
Eh..Jee takde. Main netball tuk FMI ke... ke ada show (apa
gelak???...tul la aku tanya nih). Yeay...ada Syafinaz. Hopefully she'll
deliver the juice ler on these kids. Bab Syafinaz ni aku takleh laser
because dia memang proven pun. Now this is someone yang layak komen.
Seronok berita si Yin da jumpa, tapi pelik kuar lkur berita ni ak
sebab Astro takde pon nak tayangkan dak tuh punya pic awal awal ketika
Akademi Fantasia. Motif jumpa nak lelebih lak??? Merasalah nak
tumpang umum berita. The Cicakman clips were cute, tapi cam takde umphh! Sama ngan mami jarum tuh punya segment. Boleh lah.... Now on with the rest of the show.
Estranged - Itu Kamu (Estranged) Best tengok Rich banyak da improve after just less than a year, he's brushed up so much dan live dia memang besh. Dia tak SUMBANG, tak FLAT...tak MENJERIT dan tak lari MELODY or TEMPO langsung.
Oh and good showmanship from Rich pun...suka tengok, pergerakan pentas
dia da cam pro. Memang banyak ler improvement...impressive! Kalao
dulu Bob Lokman, dulu kata Rich munafik hanya sebab bak guitar tapi tak
plugged, aku syukur Rich tak bak mic stand konon play air guitar ke apa
apa. Aku nak standing ovation kat Rich dan Estranged. At
least proven they rock the house! Hah...? Ada yang lain yang perform
ke? Tak nampak... da tup mata sumbat telinga sebab nak elak
berdarah. Eh....siapa kena boo tu? Kesian Rich dan Estranged....oh bukan ditujukan kat meka ke? Sesuai...
Dafi - Bibir Mesra Jiwa Parah (Zam Zam)
Er...despite my confusion over Syafinaz's statement "you are one good
looking creature", selepas dengar semua komentar, aku banyak
stuju he has a long, long way to go with his vocals. Merasalah kena
laser skali tak cukup masculine. Hattan bosan manjang je....erm...
kat contestant yang sorang agik, yang bapak dia kawan baik tuh, ok je
komen walauapapon...erm...impartial ke....tertanya sikit ler.
Mila - Puncak Kasih (Ziana Zain) She started off on a much higher key. Aiyo...risau teramat. Ni baru masuk first verse, mampu ke nak carry chorus?
Wow...sampai gak. Rupanya range dia tinggi abih, soprano like perhaps?
Aku rasa lebih dari Candy tuh. Slack sikit je pasal pitching sana sini,
and also in some spots mendatar, but apart from that tergamam gak ngan
sora dia. Weaknesses dia bak kata Syafinaz is her lower rangeand her lack of improvisation which would have coloured the song more. Kira consistency dia untuk minggu ketiga maintain ler. Dia ni, kira kalao ikut, deserving of the final kalao ikut standards.
Aswad - 60s TV (OAG) WHAT THE #$%^&*()P???!!!!
Dari rambut ke baju dia ke tarian dia yang cam kena sawan, all the way
to vocals dia yang cam epileptic seizure time chorus, aku
seriously terbodoh tengok persemabahan dia. Cam badut sarkas tak betui. Or a strung up old drag queen with the wrong song.... Painful...the most horrendous performance overall of the whole season.
Tima kasih oler kan pada guru Bahasa Inggeris meka yang berjaya sangat
ler kannnnn nak ajar English darjah tiga punya standard. How can
you not understand the lyrics of 60s TV???!! Tu pun setakat brapa baris
yang berulang pun tak mampu paham dan sebut bebetul??? How can you not memorise and be able to sing it. HOW??? Patutnya lima pam jamban tapi bagi discount satu sebab video clip 'I'm washing'.
Heliza - Diam Diam Jatuh CInta (Ramlah Ram)
Dari buka mulut jer aku senyum, sebab ni lah persembahan dia yang aku
tunggu. This is her more stable vice yang aku tau dia mampu. Still not
the best, but ok ler. The song suited her to a tee, but it's not the
best yet and dia mampu show lagi yang lebih meletup sebab lagu ni lum
killer enough. Showmanship dia pun ngan Shawal was cute and distracted my attention from that horrible pink dress she was wearing. Erm...Candy kali kedua backing tuh. Cam bosan je muka dia.Kesian... Thank you Syafinaz for explaining the difference ebetween vibrato, tremolo dan wobbling sebab masih ramai tak paham beza.
Aku rasa vocal got nice potential, but aku rasa ridiculous sebab Hattan
mintak nak meka bangkang pasal bab idea show, sebab empat musim
wardrobe tak penah pon pelajar dapat bangkang sebelom perubahan. So salah sapa for not bringing out the best in them.
Erm...apa lak nak peraga baju Normah tuh...take away spotlight dari
performance Heliza lak. Keji Erml...ketatnya muka dia sampai cakap
pon...erm..no komen!
Ebi - Layu Sebelum Berkembang (Broery Marantika)
The intro was weird sebab banyak benda cam tak masuk. I don't know why
decided to jazz it up more than necessary sebab bebudak ni live music
masih tak mampu nak follow sangat. And the piano wuld have been fine,
if they hadn't decided t make it semi-minus one. Erm...it wasn't that good honestly walaupon aku tau Ebi besh.
Sebenarnya lagu ni, lebih senang dari segi nak menyerlahkan suara, tapi
in total contradiction, lebih susah because there is more need to
be sentitif to the changes. Sustain ni an issue like Syafinaz said,
and bretah support too is another good thing she pointed out. Jee ado
katanya...ok...not too bad, but not that good either.
Candy - Berdua Lebih Baik (Acha Septriasa)
She didn't do as bad. Yerlah kalau masa Diarrhea ada pelajar sibuk kata
dia flat, tapi aku rasa takde la si Candy ni se flat yang dikatakan,
ataupun at least tak sebegitu kalao banding ngan tukang mengata tuh. She did decently, tapi sebab dia maintain jer prestasi dia mungkin pengkritik tak nampak kot. Still, one of the better performances of the night, though not the best.
Rizal - Pada Syurga Di Wajahmu (Nash)
Malas nak ulas panjang. Dia ni memang aku da dari awal kata leh jadik
pelakon ke host TV programme je. Harap rupa. Sebab lain...erm...
Nyanyian dia? Masuk minggu kelima la dia ni masih horrible gila.
Sumbang dari segala aspek. The worst easily AGAIN. Tapi takde la
seteruk Aswad kali ni..so second worst ler.
Dekna - Unfaithful (Rihanna)
Memang haram sepatah sepanjang lagu. Dari segi tu lebih teruk dari
Aswad. Tapi vocally dia still maintain dari level minggu lepas denagn
suara yang kira way better than quite a few of them. And trust me,
she can sing better live than RIhanna, sebab aku penah witness dia wat
show kat Bangkok yang kebanyakkannya miming dan bila live lak hancur.
Tapi sebab penghayatan, hancus sikit. So back to the issue of a
language barrier, patutnya Ogy dan si Syafinaz patut salahkan cikgu
Bahasa Inggeris. Astro...sila dapatkan cikgu bahasa Inggeris yang baru
Shawal - Cinta Tak Karuan (Amigos)
Don't care what anyone said about this. I thought he was good...not
fantastic, but good. Aku rasa pelik bab Hattan ni semua dia kritik
kecuali seorang je yang dia beriya support. I really think someone has to look into the reality of whether ada bias tak soal komen. Erm...Ogy bagik statement of the night in, "terima kasih kerana melangkah keluar comfort zone etc". A closing to a rather mediocre night di mana aku rasa dia amng the best.
Overall konsert ni kureng sket high, cam konsert kedua, tapi masih kira
ok. Not as fun as last week sebab pilihan lagu dan persembahan ala ala

Hurm....ada yang jatuh berdentum cam nangka busok rupanya. Apapun aku
kesian dua orang je, si Dekna yang terkeluar dan si Candy. Dekna sebab
dia memang ada potential. Walaupon mula mula nyampah tahap gaban ngan
dia sampai dapat nama GEDEKNA....tapi in weeks later pas dia mula
concentrate, da nampak dia ni mampu gak sebenarnya. Just a case of a
little too late. Si Candy lak among the best tapi tetap dok bawah...tak paham tol.
Yang tuk two weeks running terlepas elimination si Rizal tuh, please
lah. Ensem ke haper ke...kalao da sumbang mambang nyanyian tuh, piala
sumbang-sih je layak dia menang. Aduh....but like Syafinaz bagitau
lepas abih konsert, "Ala....sejak bla yang right ones selalu kena
eliminated dari competition camni". So true....anyway seronok dapat
jumpa Afza, anak buah Ebi. Penah nampak kat Dewan, tapi tak penah tegur
walaupon dia forummer Cari gak. At least dapat sembang...walaopon
sekejap. Woit...Afza...jangan lupa benda aku cakap tuh! Next week! Ok ler guys...esok aku letak pic ek....nak dating. Sunday ni apart from a day of rest nak beriadah sikit. Heh!!!
Music is beautiful, no matter what language it is in. It transcends the boundaries of race, religion, and even that of a geographical nature. Here's my list of songs from Indonesian pop and rock acts that are on my playlist, some of which are my all time favorites. Some old, some new and some just bloody timeless. Enjoy the sounds and listen beyond the music and the words - and instead tune into the emotions of each tune. No matter what genre they may be.
Say NO! to the hateful and malicious nature of some who choose to close our local music market for fear of competition simply because they are unable to compete, and unwilling to even try.
Support Malaysian music. Don't kill it by being ignorant. Music is ever evolving, and our local sound is slowing being rendered irrelevant. This is my protest against those who choose to be anti-Indonesian music, simply because SOME of our local talents and recording outfits are too lazy to innovate and create. This is the sound of Indonesia today. Are we up for the challenge to evolve and produce better music in healthy competition?

So...just what do you want to know about me?
I'm simple, and yet complicated.
It's as simple as that...but then again, perhaps not.
My life is kinda like my job, an oxymoron. Try this one out for size...'ethical journalist'. See, told you so.
Anyway, here's a brief (yeah right!) intro to my life.
I'm a proud Malaysian (and I mean literally!), of Chinese descent. I'm Christian (Roman Catholic!).
I'm kinda whacked. I believe in piercings, dyed hair, black nails, silver studs. leather and spiked accessories and oh... tattoos...body art is just that...art. Apart from anything else that will make me worth staring at.
Right now, I have a total of seven piercings (three on lobes - two left one right, left ear cartilage, nose, lower lip and tongue) with three taken out on brow (one ripped) as well as three tattoos with more to come.
Forget the tough exterior, cause I believe in hugging my parents, crying when I feel like it, require tender moments with my significant other, and I appreciate my friends. As Kim from America's Next Top Model said it best. "What's my secret? I may look tough on the outside, but really, I scream like a girl!"

I 32 as of last July 17, and it's past the mid life crisis come early for me as I struggled to deal with the coming of age thing. I am working as a freelance senior entertainment journalist, a job which I have been at ever since I decided to quit college, two subjects short of graduating. I was taking my Diploma In Sound and Audio Engineering. Until recently that is.
Now I do a lot of freelance overall talent consultancy which includes image and communication. I am also in the process of starting my own company klubbkidd Sdn Bhd, which is producing its first TV show from a format that I have created myself. The show will most likely be on air sometime end 2008.
I have donelive sound production for some concerts and shows and a little bit of studio work in hopes of becoming a sound engineer with what I've studies, when I turned back to my first love, writing.
Was doing general news, specialized awhile in politics, did a little features, crime, business and sports and dabbled in related journalism fields before finally settling into my current position, thankfully, entertainment, the perks of which is doing what I've always loved (writing and indulging in music) and also backstage passes to meet my favorite acts. It's eleven years now, and I'm still golding it there.
Looking back - whatever's gone on in my life - it's not too hard to be positive and look ahead, with more pleasant of the memories to make the journey a little easier.
And these very memories which I cherish so, are the reasons behind why I started blogging.
The friendships and variety of relationships I've been through, allow me to highlight the mistakes I've made and how not to repeat them, not to compromise my principles too much for love, and also a balance in sacrificing my ego, and how I must learn to be stronger in the face of adversity.
So I've never figured myself to be a real hoot.I pace on day by day, occasionally skipping, sometimes with just a little jaunty bounce. More often than not, I go smack! either on my rear end (which needs more meat) or flat on my face.Life treats me well, I suppose, so I shouldn't gripe. I am stll my own hero - that's positivity through self-affirmation for you.

nak ulas Diarrhea. Surprisinglly, the list of songs are not all that
this week sebab meka nak wat minggu bertema (and we all know what a
success that usually is).
Function ni held in a restaurant kat Northpoint. Mula mula tatau mana
ler jadahnya tempat tu tapi rupanya dekat ngan MidValley. Seberang
jalan je, tapi nak sampai kena pusing satu round. Keji...tapi cantik
tempatnya.
Alang alang kan, sambil tunggu si Cicakman nak wat kemunculan tuk layan
pemenang competition Sinar FM yang co-organiser tuk event ni kami
banyak sempat borak.
