So sesiapa yang tau leh teka da skang. Sebenarnya, nak ke Sydney tuh, atas invitation dari pihak Maestro yang da berapa minggu gak ler bagitau pasal plan Mawi ke Sydney tuh. Actually initially dengar Gold Coast....then dengar Sydney, so I wasn't sure where exactly they were going to have the tour pun. Tapi semalam pun da sidang akhbar. Yeay!! Aku nak ikut.Dah orang jemput... Tapi yang pening nya satu. Sebab kira celah tarikh kita pergi and balik tuh ialah tarikh the final of Akademi Fantasia. Hmmm...mai aku pikirkan. Nak tengok lima dak merungut yang prform pun silap silap sunstandard dan sakitkan ati and panas ati dan ngumpat the whole night, atau nak ke Sydney for six days, then balik, tengok ulangan persembahan ala ala, panas hati dan mencarut. Sungguh sukar ye tuk aku wat keputusan (matilah!!!!). Oh well, dah ler minggu ketujuh pun ke AIM (yelah dari Akademi Fantasia yang repeat ta abih abih - baik ke AIM je, lagikpun lagi meriah kat AIM for anyone yang bebetul follow the music industry). So I suppose ok kot...but I'll have to make up my mind in the weeks to come. Tapi honestly la...if there's a reason I dn't want to miss Akademi Fantasia, it's only because sayang...aku dari musim pertama sehingga skang tak penah miss any final, nak kata konsert pun, aku rasa musim pertama je ler aku slow hadirkan diri, which is final je. Tapi since then tak penah miss... but I suppose tahun ni hambar sangat no big deal pon kot. Again... we'll see lor. But it'll be fun ler kalao camni. The tour package, Discover Sydney With Mawi is organised by Arlanda Travel Sdn Bhd along with Maestro and Mawi World Sdn Bhd. Acara tu dari 16 to 21 May. Selain places of interest, aku dengar among other programmes scheduled in Sydney include the shooting of a TV special on the trip itself ala Mawi@Mauritius, , mungkin ada pembikinan music video single terbaru Mawi dan perhaps showcase atau pelancaran album baru dia, 1 Dalam 1000, tuk Malaysians there gak kot. Not too shabby. After all, dahlings...it's Sydney.... Ok semalam, keja aku (sebab tak keja tapi on MC) melepak je sebab keadaan da sihat. Gi window shopping kat KLCC, tapi hampeh. Tak jumpa anything aku nak spend on pon. Boring je jumping one store to another. Biasa ler time ada duit mesti camni, Kalau tengah kering tuh, memacam ler yang jumpa nak beli. Pastu, hop across the road to Avenue K lak, yang member penah cakap, tempat ramai orang bunian shopping (kosong ler.....) Memang lengang siot tempat tuh. Kesian lak tengk. Pekerja kedai sana semua cam moka nyesal je mau hidup. But tujuan sebenar ke mall bunian nisebab nak ke butik Ermenegildo Zegna kat sana, sebab dengar ada relocation sale. I've never fancied Zegna's items dari dulu, but singgah ler mana tau ada bargain yang menarik. Aku kan pantang... zilch! Nothing at all worth buying. Tapi sempat ok ke boutique Gucci nak usha. Aduh...ada je benda yang aku rancang dalam pala aku bila aku mampu kang na bak my mom sini shopping. Had dinner later ngan friends, and called it a night... at about 4 am by the time sampai rumah. Oh by the way, ingat tak pics dulu aku letak yang perosa selera tuh. Hah...anyway, kalao dulu mamat ni pakai jeans terlondeh, dedahkan g string dia (tak terbayangkan camna teloq masin tu terbelah - ewwwww), arituh aku tengah supper ngan member tempat sama, spooted the sequel lak. Dak ni lain sikit...dia ni kira sopan ler dari the last picture yang dedah lurah dendam. Yang ni pakai briefs putih biasa, dan seluar dia terlondeh. Tapi yang aku tak tahan tuh, dia ni nampak urus kering, tapi briefs cam pakai saiz L lak ngan kembang terkeluar cam pakai boxer lak (tapi you can tell it's actually briefs). Gelak siot. My Lord....kalao korang ada tengk Borat, hah cam scene si Borat nak cuba feeling hip hop pakai briefs yang baggy dan getah haus, feeling hip hop terlondeh. Cam kesial!
Erm...diperkenalkan Perosak Selera II! Adik...lain kali nak hip hop londeh tonjok suar dalam pakai ler boxer ek. Kalaiu tak pon suar dalam dalam jangan beli empat saiz terlalu besau.
So this is for this short entry. Esok aku nak ke Muzik Muzik sebab da lama ta usha apa perkembangan kat sana. Lagipun dengar meka ada slight revamp, kang aku update pasal tuh ek. Kalau sempat malam ni, tak sempat siang besk jer ler. Toodles!

Amik ko beli Breacol sebotol teguk separuh, terus ok....tapi as expected drowsy sikit ler (kalau Xanax pon aku da takleh react ngantuk...ni cuma ubat batuk) Singgah and spent most of the evening kat Starbucks rajinkan diri email kan column aku, and habiskan one more due tomorrow (rajin lak lelebih time sakit ni)....actually nak avoid window shopping balik sebab aku discovered another place yang discount hebat. Found two cun punya sunglasses designs, one Dior and one Gucci yang tengah on sale gak! 40%!!! Fell in love with both, and the cheapest one was RM640....best price kata tokei kedai tuh. Ok ler tuh for 2007 Spring Summer collection punya. But forced myself to put it down and walked away, saying I'd think about it and lari to Starbucks to drown my sorrows (of not allowing myself to splurge). Sayangnya!!! Will think about it a little more these few days tengok camna. Lepak sampai dalam kol lapan, aku pun gerak ke Bangsar Shopping Centre. Sebenarnya ada janji nak have dinner ngan keluarga salah satu peserta Akademi Fantasia. Sapa takyah ler bagitau...meka nak kenal dan mintak nasihat dan pendapat je sikit. Kang cakap sapa lain lak issue diperbesarkan. Anyway, aku tetap objective in my views of everyone, so there! Apapun, it was a nice chat, and dapat ler kongsi pengalaman how to set up a fan club and organise things about it, plus tukar tukar pendapat sana sini. Tapi tu bukan the point of this entry...the point of this entry lain sikit. Yes, bulan depan, tatau for now, exactly when... nak ke Sydney! Merasalah dapat spend some time in the Gold Coast! Yahoo!!!!! So far aku every state in Malaysia da jalan, Singapore takyah cakap sampai bosan....Thailand, Brunei, England...last but not least Mauritius. And now, Australia, here I come... I hope! So far, verbally confirm, tapi haribulan tatau agik. Jadik ke pegi? Hope so...so far things look good. I think I deserve a holiday, and since aku akan duit nak shopping sakan (even after the currency exchange) nampaknya heaven ler kalao jadik. Semalam da ke klink. Da amik obat. Dalam sakit aku, tension tol. Setan!!!! Tak dapat MC. Mesti klinik dekat rumah aku (sebab panel) kedekut nak bagik sebab dia nak wat bisnes haram jual MC dia. Ada reputation tuh....tapi yang aku paling sakit ati, ubat dia semua cam tak nolong. Tadik petang, gi panel clinic located in my office itself. Banyak agik obatan aku dapat. Lantak sekali je, da marked improvement. My fever and flu is almost gone, and bengkak mata pun dah surut. Ok sikit la...there goes my reason to wear my Guccis for 24-7. So ari ni tak nonton Diarrhea. Sebabnya aku ke preview for filem Zombi Kampung Pisang. Ok...korang mesti pening pala....pikiaq apa la title busuk camtuh. Well...you haven't seen the movie...it gets worse. When I say worse, I mean in the sense of corniness and tackiness (ada ke term corniness?) But other than that...lawak gila sial! Anyhoo, mula mula aku quite negative about the film. As a rule, I dislike Mamat Khalid punya hasil keja yang aku rasa most of the time syok sendiri. Secondly, Malaysian zombies??? And thirdly, we know how cheap horror effects here are....so berat sikit nak layan. But da atas invitation, plus aku pon dari perap kat rumah je, baik aku membawa diri ke Mid Valley Megamall. Ramai gak orang hadir preview, yang diadakan belah malam dari kebiasaan waktu siang. Konon sesuai filem horror aa.... But I like the idea of night screenings sebab lebih elok. Rasa relaxed and not rushed. Had dinner first at Amarin kat level dua, where semua orang berkumpul. Ramai ek bloggers yang hadir. Ada Juan, Budiey, Ajami, Kash....ooo...siap ada kemunculan kali pertama Maddox24, Nampaknya semakin ramai bloggers yang berani tonjolkan diri...bagus! S after we grabbed a bite, and aku telan semua medication aku, we made our way to Golden Screen Cinemas for....jeng jeng jeng...Zombi Kampung Pisang (loya aku nak sebut title dia - maybe it's just the medication)
Amacam...korang tengok poster ni nak gelak ke nak scream in horror! Aku nak scream in horror sangat sebab wat aku nangis kenapa ler aku mai datang tonton. Tak pe...give it the benefit of doubt ler kan. But much later, aku discoverd, that while is is as expected on helluva silly movie, but it's so bad, it's actually good. At least they admitted it was more of a spoof of the horror genre. Kira pecah perut gak ler. Walaupon editing made the story pace a little draggy, tapi kira ada je nak gelak setiap saat. With local comedies, paham paham jer ler...sometimes lawak kena...kekadang lawak bangang nak mampos. But this one, most of the lawak menjadi gak ler. Aku bagik korang keyword scene korang kena watch out for. Tugu Negara, Siti Nurhaliza/ Datuk K, rock, video games, Seroja.... What do they have to do with Zombi Kampung Pisang? A lot! Korang tengok...aku takleh give away too much. Tapi jalan cita dia simple je. Sorang sorang kat Kampung Pisang start mati seara mengejut. Dalam mati tuh, mayat sorang sorang sorang ilang.... ony to reappear to the survivors as zombies. Simple premise... tu je. Tapi aku rasa admirable on thing is that since they adoped more of a parody approach, the tackiness of it all dissolved into a workable formula. Merasalah mati kena tembak, kesan tembakan tuh, blood splat yang berbentuk ala ala splat logo Nickelodeon. Keji kan.... if you don't get what I'm going on about. Go watch it. I know this is almost impossible, and I probably will regret saying it.... but I would pay to go and see it. And bak kawan kawan ramai ramai so leh jerit dan pecah perot bersama. It's not Scary Movie, but it does come across along the lines of the same genre. Think Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes, but not so much stylistic than commercial. Apapun, aku rasa lakonan paling besh kali ni from Que Haidar (his character maintain macho manjang....tapi sebenarnya nampak apa apa je run away screaming like a girl)., Loloq (sampai bila bila di translate ke until when when - keji!) dan Awie (menjadi gak ler sebagai hero). Ezlynn irritated me to the max, while the others were just ok, tapi salute for the first time to Mamat Khalid ler. Kalau dulu pilem dia sandard Man Laksa busuk tuh, this is so much of an improvement. This definitely takes slapstick to a whole new level. Sapa feeling takut nak tengok Zombi Kampung Pisang, jangan ler. Tak horror langsung. Kalau takut gelak, yes, elak dari tonton filem ni. Aku rasa Mamat Khalid punya reference masa wat Zombi Kampung Pisang ni mesti a combination of those classic cult B-grade horror movies like Night Of The Living Dead and Evil Dead, with a cocktail of parodies like Airplane and Scary Movie etc. Is it really any good? Let's put it this way. It's not an award winner, but it's funny like all hell! Yer, walaupon ada zombies, sesuai untuk tontonan umum. In fact this is another movie for the whole family dari bebudak sampai atok nenek (takkan terkejut piunya) Zombi Kampung Pisang memulakan tayangan di pawagam pada 19 April. This Tayangan Unggul Sdn Bhd production dibintangi Awie, AC Mizal, Que Haidar, as well as Nadia Mustafar, Ezlynn, Soffi Jikan, Zami Ismail, Jalil Hamid, Loloq dan Rusminah Sidek. I give it two bags of tepung jagung, four kain pelikats and one human hair wig rating. In other words, a must see. Aduh...funny.... sapa nak wat gathering tengok ramai ramai (tapi kena la pastikan ari biasa dan tayangan malam ek) Esok takde apa apa. Yeay...aku on another two days MC sampai Jumaat, so dapat rilek je kat rumah. Walaupon gerak ati nak shopping, shopping and more shopping!!!! I know that this is a little late, but better late than never kan.
Akibat slight fever, selsema dan bengkak mata (thus the Gucci, sampai
tengok konsert Akademi Fantasia kat dewan pun ber Gucci...bukan kerana
berangan stylo walaupon hakikatnya stylo pun...), this review lambat
ler sikit. Sekali kira ngan laporan Diarrhea tadik. We start off
with review aku tuk konsert Akademi Fantasia yang ketiga yang dah
ler bosan dan busuk cam minggu pertama (and we were holding on to the
hope that the second week showed promise of better things to come). Not
only was the concert frustratingly bad, there was no justification for
not eliminating anyone. Nama 'surprise' konon...burok bebenor perform
pun tak eliminate. Baik empat lima orang sekali kena halau balik. Konon antara sebab meka wat trigger camni, meka nak bagik peluang pada bebudak perbaiki diri. Hello??? It's the third f***** week!!!! And
selama ni, dalam musim musim lepas, kalau ada non elimination, it was
never half way. Abih...camna lak Diya dan Afiq? Didn't they deserve a
chance to improve themselves too? Weird! Back to the concert...Oh my God!!!!,....and I mean it. Today I heard the voice of God!!!! Oh ok...it's just Aznil with a lot of reverb and echo. How CHEESY and totally TACKY! Dah....aku malas nak cakap apa apa, but I think again the screwed up on the intro. AGAIN! It
could have been executed so much more better but nope...again...it was
kind of weird like watching some sort of student experimental theatre.
Malas nak panjang mengulas...kang orang niat nak carut jer...sendiri
nilaikan hwo busuk it was. I would have given a rating of four toilet
plungers for it. One can only imagine the horror of Datuk A. Samad Said
at how these kids made his art sound like a bad Cerekarama script.
So let's get strated on the kids.
Heliza - Melodi Ahlan (Waheeda) I
was really disappinted with her, because I think she didn't do half as
good as she should, as Ogy said. It was a mediocre performance that
appeared to be more a warm up practise session that was boring.
Disappointing at best though I really want to throw in more nasty
cmments for the way she stumbled through it. Credit to her ler though
for for fumbling up her lyrics like some of the others though as
admittedly it was quite difficult. If Heliza underperforming wasn't
enough to spoil my mood, aku tambah geram komen Jee which was not too
bad but it was so contrived She doesn't fit into the role and it was
just a tad silly for her to comment panjang panjang and then lapse into
her real mode of ending with, " but you look nice today." Arghhh!!!
Farha - Insan (Yantzen) Now
this was a bad attempt at overdramatisation of the show. As ada member
komen..., nyanyi insan ke insane... cause he looked like a raving
lunatic yang a little nuts ngan dia punya action tangan and overdose
acting. Boring...and just utter sillyness....
Noni - Ode To My Family (Cranberries) Ok this was just weird cause it continued the trend of overacting onstage. Memang
aku pun rasa nak go... "your mother, your father!!!"... swearing
profusely at just about anyone responsible for bringing her into this
world. Boring, over the top, zero effort and presented in a package of the cheesiest stage performance ever! She
was slurring, had bad pronounciation, mumbling her lyrics...blah blah
blah...list them all out and take our pick of what sucked about her. Does anyone care? Hell no!!!
Aswad - Hijau Bumi Tuhan (XPDC) He
could have impressed but for some blody reason sebab ni makanan dia.
Rck kapak style, Tapi he was flat in places, off and occasionally
sengau nak mampos. Let's not forget the jerky wind up monkey
movements. Boring...sampai tahap Jee pun takleh puji ari ni dia comel
ke haper...(which is a little hard fr her to hold back, ok!) The only thing worth watching was sampai Ogy naik hantu pasal show Asswipe. I like!!! Go Ogy!!!
Fatin - Erti Hidup (Dayang Nurfaizah) Unimaginative
and boring, I think her song was very paced but she didn't do anything
for it. Biasa biasa je, tapi in a concert where everyone totally
sucked, she seemed ok. For me though, aku rasa sesi karaoke biasa je. It was definitely average and noting to shout about. Tapi at least hilang elemen dangdut dia. Kira ada harapan lagik Fatin ni nak improve.
Mila - Melukut Di Tepi Gantang
She almost made it up for the two horrible weeks, and proved she had a
decent voice. Derailed sana sini but one of the btter shows fo the
night. Don't understand the damn wheelchair though
I actually pity her because I know she can do better but somehow I dn't
think she can catch up in time to improve herself. As it is, nak lawan
ngan anak anak Datuk ni not an easy task wit Heliza being the only girl
so far yang can keep up the race.
She's got the potential I think, but I also think she needs more
time to improve, which sadly seems like it's ending by next week.
Dafi - Aku Tanpa Cintamu (Mirwana) CHECKINGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! Lari nyeh!!!! I thought the backing stage performances were getting worse and worse but nothing prepared me for this lousy sketch. Matilah feeling pengajaran but kelakar lak. bodoh tol. As for Dafi....honestly tul...no stinking dynamics, and lagu tuh cam lullaby padahal tie Mirwana dan Jay Jay power ok. Kali ni ada peluang nak all out leh tapi still wat boyband approach dia. Merasalah jadik boyband karaoke expert. T be fair though, he wasn't the worst for the night...though he did suck something bad.
Dekna - Kembara Di Tanah Gersang (Al Jawaher) For
the first 45 seconds aku ingat dia da ok sikit...tapi after that, I
went back to sleep, to cry in my sleep actually while my ears bled.
Aduh...sayangnya dia ni....kenapa lak dak ni. Apart from the bad stage dramas, there was something uniform in budak budak ni minggu ni. Takde feel langsung! Merasalah aksi Samihah Aisah Omar suddenly nak kicking lak.
Rizal - Permaidani (Aris Ariwatan) Ok...he
is seriously tone deaf! Enough said....someone please check his hearing
cause I think there's something seriously wrong with his ability to
head cause honestly no one could have normal hearing without realising
that was nasty! He was the worst ..AGAIN! For the third week in a row. And tetap ngan aksi Karam Singh Walia walaopon awal2 konsert da reminder. Pada peminat Rizal, please stop voting for him and get your ears checked if you say he can sing.
Shawal - Ku Berlari (Firdaus) Disappinted
sebab he tried but it didn't work...nak blame sapa? The music? Good
choice! I don't know what happened but looks like these kids ni memang
suck nak mampos with each week. He died onstage! He better buck up next week. And
please, let's not bring clowns to upstage others ok... I can't take all
the gegaring of the lemak which irritates the crap out of me.
Candy - Terlalu Istimewa (Adibah Noor) She pulled some high notes but I think the she was just lucky with the song. Weird that Jee kata dia ada feel sebab aku rasa penghayatan dia hancur even though sora dia ok je with some highs. Nak
kata yang terbaik, seriously she wasn't that good...just ala ala
je.Only Ogy was able to point it out and noticed the same thing I did
which was this thing she did with her pose ala ala orgasm. And the music...
Ebi - Al Jannah (Mawi) I think this was the real performance of the day sebab elok sesangat ler sora dia banding yang lain. For
the last two weeks, he's been so so, but this was an amazing
improvement for him to come this far. Bab, though stress points tuh aku
no komen ler sebab I think Jee makes sense when she pointed it out.
Wow! A first...time to celebrate! The part when he would fail
because of penghayatan aku rasa dia punya problem tuh, sama je ngan
bebudak lain...still aku puji dia because of the effort yang aku memang
puji. Bukan senang nak wat lagu Mawi and not be compared which I think
dia mampu, with his version.
Aku
rate this whole concert three toilet plungers! Konsert pertama dapat
empat while last concert was a two star effort. So note the effort. Apapun,
before I forget, the critics (even Jee) geta standing ovation for
their comments this week yang lebih real kali ni dan on the mark. It's
about time we see reality TV be real again! S to Ogy, Hattan dan Jee, keep up the good work. I like!!! Anyway,
today surfing the Net, ada yang tanya pasal pics Ebi yang appear.
Ala...dia tuh bekas model. So biasa je la. At least not self taken
dedah sampai bogel sendiri sendiri. Tapi wat camner....kalau it affects

Kesimpulan aku dapat wat dari flashbacks tuh: - si Asswipe semakin cam ungka, - Tok Wan tuh membuang masa penonton. - they couldn't bring someone who wasn't obese to teach the kids first aid - the kids are just weird and trying too hard in talking with the camera too much in trying to play Farah. - meka kena endorse Power Root sebab antara sponsor - dan team production pemalas nak recycle clips sebab siang punya recording tak sempat edit. Leh? Matilah carut balik... Oh
and judging by Astro's announcement yang undian minggu lepas takkan
dibuang, it's obvious that meka takut jadik issue tipu duit peminat
Akademi Fantasia kalau meka reset the votes percentage this week.
Bagus...bagus...at least they learned about prevention rather than
depend on damage control. Now if only meka sedar betapa kurang
ajarnya nak clash dates with AIM, the new version of Menuju Puncak
still sucks....and assignment lagu pun bring nak mampos....dare I
mention arrangement minus ones pun masih busuk? jangan ler), while Rizal dah almost confirm akan mampos ngan lagu dia.
Nyampah aku masa Diarrhea dia cakap, "Saya memang tak sukaaaaaa lagu
ni!!! Saya memang tak tak sukaaaa irama Malaysia....etc" Kata tak

Baru balik konsert tribute Sudirman. Tired out as hell tak balik pas kuar siang tadik tuk knsert Akademi Fantasia ketiga. Esok je aku update ok....with the best pics around... My thrat feels a little raw, tanda nak demam kot. So esok je aku posting entry review plus a little news. Adalah....
Sila alih perhatian ke kanan ni. Ada gambar dua mangkuk jamban paling kesialan yang aku pernah jumpa. This picture was taken while I was having dinner at iZZi kat Bukit Bintang, sambil taking advantage their 'bottomless beverage' offer (drink all you can) and the free wifi. Now, I love iZZi sebab dia punya tempat ni, makanan dan minuman ok, and harga pun berpatutan. Of course the wifi is a bonus ler. But another thing yang paling attractive pasal tempat ni is they have a smoking section in this closed off area of the restaurant yang siap air conditioned. Susah woo mau jumpa kat KL restaurant layan smokers cam aku ni. So anyways, met Ted there to have a bite sebab this is one of the few rare Saturdays yang free, memandangkan Akademi Fantasia on hold gituh, with the concert tomorrow. Tengah makan melantak dan surfing ni, tetiba ada ler couple ni masuk. Tatau ler jantan ni bini dia burok bebeno ker, atau tuh mak dia....but this obviously Arabs strutted in and took a table next to mine. Yang si pompuan ni lak, tarik shawl ke sweater e haper dia yang burok tu dan bising kat waiter kata sejuk. So waiter kena ikot cakap dia turn off the air conditioning. Matila ko! Dahler ko tak smoking ko dok section kita kita yang ditindas nih. Pastu take away our little creature comfort lak. Cam haram kesialnya!!!! Lepas 15 minutes, I swear the glass walls started fogging up sebab bilik ni da cam steam room. Siap ada yang terus bayar and leave with a disgusted look kat makcik ni. I guess they were too polite to tell her off, and decided to just walk off. And of course I am too. NOT!!! Ngan moka yang ala ala lobster yang overcooked, hot and bothered, aku ngeluh ngan bebudak sini. Meka pon kenal aku ala ala sebab da rajin aku hias sini dulu. Dia pun turn on the aircon again ler. Tak sampai lima minit, the aircon temperature was turned down hasil makcial sial nih. WHAT THE ***!!!!!!! Pastu takper lagik. Si makcik ni, siap jeling kat aku, as if daring me to get the aircon turned up again. So I lit up a cigarette and puffed away.... in the direction of her table. In other words, that was my way of saying GI MAMPOS KO!!! You already look like you're going to go any minute, so let me help you. That's six seconds gone thanks to secondary smoke by me...inhale you b***h!!!...here's another six seconds for you!!!! We are surely an oppresed lot ler smokers ni...but this was standing my ground for my beliefs and my right to kill myself with nicotine in this little glass box that they prepared for us to do what we wanted to ourselves without harming anyone. Now even that is being taken away.... Betina tua ni siap pandang aku cam aku wat salah lak nak isap rokok. Nak je aku jerit...NI TEMPAT SMOKING LA BANGANG....tapi sure dia tak paham lak. Mendidih siot darah aku!!! Aku jeling dak waiter, dia pun ala ala tension da ngan couple ni sebab other customers, who were slightly more polite than me were also giving really UGLY looks (lain ler makcik ni da memang born with it kan). Dia signal kat aku tuk bersabar and started clearing their table the moment meka abih and offered to get the bill....ala ala nak halau cara terhormat ler. And then the happy ending was dia berambos....and we had the room back again to ourselves...and we smoked happily ever after until closing time. The End. Leh? Anyways, hari ni memang happy day. Dahler relaxed, my first real off day in a month or two with nothing whatsoever to do, something weird again happened. Another payment was made into my bank account. Like just a day ago, tengahari tadi aku ke ATM machine and found out, I had over RM1,000 extra. Ok...honestly I don't know where the money came from, but I think company kot yang bank in sebab overtime aku ke haper ler yang meka tak pay out.. Terus feeling lagik smangat nak window shopping. Thanks to my unGodly hours depan laptop main download America's Next Top Model (cycle 8), Who Wants To Be The Next Superhero, In Living Colour dan assorted old movies (no porn), plus the heat over the last couple of days, mata aku bengkak sikit belah kiri. Ala ala nak ketumbit but not quite gituh. So aku went to town to the pharmacy. Pas beli ubat, singgah layan tengok sunglasses. Now my history pasal sunglasses ni, aku penah skali je beli sunglasses branded...zaman study dulu banyak and wat part time dan practical sana sini. Kongsi ngan my best friends to buy this JPG punya sunglasses yang memang meletop! Gilir gilir ok time tu nak pakai....rotating seorang berapa hari dapat pakai...until one day one of my friends stupidly sat on it!!! Oh yes, and there was this pair of Calvin Kleins which were a gift from someone fron Jakarta which, I stupidly sat on. Bodoh... Sejak tu, sunglasses ni tak penting bagi aku agik, tambah because aku ni pun bukan gila barang branded. All these years pun aku ada duit extra prefer spend kat orang lain (matilah sampai kekadang jadik badan kebajikan lak nak bagi maan kat anak orang yang pemalas). Anyhoo...walked in the optometrist saja nak browse...and then saw a few I liked...and then decided to go another shop...and another...and another...and another....until I walked out with this. Yes, people, I am now proudly in possession of my first pair of Gucci. Hah!!! I've been officially Gucci-ed. Leh? Er...this is original ok...siap ada resit dan warranty so not five finger discount (shoplift ler) or dapat pree gift!!!! And this is not yang zaman tok kadok punya, this is part of the 2007 Spring Summer Gucci eyewear line Actually ada empat aku suka, this one, A Christian Dior and two Guess shades, but I settled for this in the end. Dior tuh da almost quarter of my salary, so the Gucci won in the end sebab bawah RM1000. Retail price RM850 to be exact. Tapi dapat ler discount. Yang pentingnya,retail price pun da lebih murah dari apa aku check online...apa lagi pas aku dapat discount sikit. Heh... Sesapa minat nak dapat info lebih, surf over ler to Gucci punya website.Matilah nak bagi proof of purchase not PS Boutique punya (Petaling Street ler). I love my shades!!!! Siap pastu surfing website official meka nak tengok ada apa lagik yang cantik feeling nak beli (tapi feeling je sebab nak saving in getting new wardrobe and saving a little to splurge on a trip to see somene in Langkawi). So yes, this posting is an indulgent syok sendiri trip about me and my Gucci (cita makcik Arab tu - otherwise known as Kahaks to us ala ala appetizer jer.) Cukup berapa tahun punya fragrance tuh And yes, here I am hiding my minor deformity with my Gucci. yes yes...say what you want...ko ado? Heh! Aduh....esok selepas ke konsert ingat nak shopping agi memandangkan my budget for shpping masih membenarkan. Entry update pasal apa konsert esok. Aku nak sambung lari keliling meja with my Gucci on as everyone stares at me as I'm going, "I like it....I like it...I like it" while whooping it up. Yes, yes, smirk if you must, but the power of retail theraphy should never be underestimated... Meanwhile, let me fold them back in their case, and make sure I don't sit on this pair, cause it'll be more painful than just on my butt if I sit on this pair or anyone else does before I hit the age of 60. Pada sesapa yang gi konsert esok, tegur tegur ler ek tomorrow cause I know some of you are actually going to the show. Tak kisah ler sokong sapa pun... Asswipe ke, The Blob ke, Daffy Duck ke....it's a competition and we shouldn't take it personal. I'd love to meet you guys yang baca kat sini...so here's hoping we meet up. PS - Esok April Fool's Day so jangan terkena ek. And persoalan konsert besok, ada ke double elimination or more yang aku tunggu tunggu....or will it only be next concert onwards. Renungkan.
Does anyone ever question Astro for keeping the origin of the votes a a secret. Thanks to technology, Astro bukan tatau dari mana asal AFUNDI tuh semua. Yes, setiap musim, meka tau, how much each unique number votes, and you my dear friends yang SMS (aku stop dari musim ketiga), form part of these figures that they compile. Now, soalan cepumas hari ni. Will Astro ever reveal how much is pumped in by the number of uniqe numbers? Hell no!!! You think they care even if it all came from a handful? Janji masyuk kan.... plus... it would force others to vote more to get their favourites up there. Sad... but oh so true. Oh believe you me....I'm all for democracy and putting the power in the hands of the people through expensive text voting (there's one born every minute, I say) tapi kan, aku rasa this is already ridiculous. Ini bukan agik soal siapa menjadi pilihan penonton, dan siapa yang paling mengerakkan hati peminat tuk spend their hzrd earned money for them. And I think the AFUNDI shows it's pretty obvious. What can be done about this? Sadly enough.... nothing! So what happens, I say give the 'voters' (walaopon tak genuine) what they want. Yes, I thought so. But these figures prove something. No matter what orang nak cakap ler dengki ke busuk ati ke haper ke kita kerana nak mengkritik Akademi Fantasia, this season, the programme da lari konsep bukan saja dari pencarian bakat tapi it also is no longer even a question of popularity. Now, it's about how much financial backing you have. Just like a business. Oh well... at the end of the day, we all know, no matter how much money pun, takkan ko nak beli 10,000 unit album kalau da takde orang nak beli tuk lakukan kononnya product sendiri kan. And as for Astro, aku rasa meka baik kaji balik the system. Because it's obvious money votes can influence the decision. Why? Theory! Kalau sebelom ni, ikutan Akademi Fantasia dari segi jumlah SMS yang diterima begitu hebat, not even the richest man in Malaysia would bother to put his son or daughter through the competition until the final sebab it would take a LOT of money. Now however, it's obvious that the AFUNDI pool have shrunk and people have just stopped voting. Cuba kalau Astro nak buktikan aku salah, kuarkan angka angka dan peratusan undian dari musim pertama. See the number of unique voters, and why the votes tak berkembang just as much as their viewership figures. Because kalau da ada sorang dua (dan ahli keluarga lain) pump in so much money... of course the percentage shrinks. So is Akademi Fantasia a flop this year? Ada yang mengatakan ratings naik melambung. Ok...aku tak nafikan, jumlah penonton sudah pastinya akan bertambah. But tarik kuar semua graf subscribers Astro dari lima tahun lepas. Dari musim pertama, sampai skang, compare the percentage growth of the subscribership base versus the amoung spent on AFUNDI. Ada tak trend menurun. Yes...ari ni kira intelligent posting ler...konon ler. Sebab banyak perkara main kat pala aku nih. Ada yang katakan, kalao tak suka jangan tengok. Truth is, aku da nonton sejak musim pertama, and I have always said it is still the most popular show. Cuma... setiap tahun, lepas musim kedua, kita sedikit sebanyak nampak a slump, kejatuhan dari segi kualiti. Oh not by the money they spend....memang la kalao dulu musim pertama kedua bebudak pun tak dimanjaan kemewahan sangat, skang nampaknya sebab da smakin popular sponsor pun bertambah, untung pun lebih ler pada bebudak tu. The quality I mean dari segi appeal and originality of the programme yang many of us have come to love. Oh well... Tu la pasal nya, malam ni, carta peratusan ni pun...leh tell me such a story kan... Back to my day, ari ni aku relaxed... so much so malas sebenarnya nak tengok Diarrhea kang get me in a foul mood jer. Heh...takde ler...sebenarnya ari ni kira casual Friday bagik aku so nak take advantage of it. Tambah agik for some reason midnight semalam, aku check my Maybank account, tengok tengok bukan je ada jumlah gaji da masuk, plus savings aku yang aku happy giler nih, tapi also a four figure amount yang banked in. Ok...it was actually a few Ringgit short of a thousand, tapi terkejut gak sebab tertanya mana datang duit tuh. Oh well, don't know where it came from, but I know where it's going to. Tomorrow's Saturday and I have the whole day free...so...it's SHOPPING TIME!
Before I end this entry yang meroyan pondering ala analytical ni, want to share something that's been bugging me for the last two weeks. Siapa yang tak penah tengok show kat Dewan Sivik for the live concert wouldn't have noticed this. Tapi tengok pic kat atas tuh. Tuh meja yang digunakan pengkritik. The funny thing is, atas setiap meja tuh, there are two buttons, one red and one blue. No, they're not service buttons, bukan tekan skali leh order air ke extra pillows ke (though I bet that was possible for the more boring performances - the pillow part I mean). I thought they weren't working at first, tapi by the end of concert pertama, gatal gak tangan aku gi tekan ler. And yes, the buttons are actually in working order. What do they do? Well, the red button kalau ditekan, ada lampu merah kuar dari bahadian depan podium pengkritik tuh, while kalao tekan biru, kuar ler lampu biru. Something like this, masa aku main main with it time meka da mula tup lampu dewan. Rasa cam something out of Saturday Night Fever lak... (that or out of Tekaria - membuktikan aku tua da sebab ingat gameshow kat RTM tahun 80an)
Hah...tu example nya. The first one, tak tekan, takde lampu. Yang tekan biru, of course lampu biru, and merah of course the front panel turns red. Matilah kalau tean dua sekali bukan dapat warna ungu ok. And trust me, aku tekan kedua nya skali, tetap merah sebab overpower the blue kot. The next question is... what for? Pengkritik nak ok atau out kan contestant ke? Adakah itu gimik ke kejutan akan datang? Adakah itu akan menandakan some manner of inteference of the critics to the results which has been determined by some rich fat cats voting their talentless offspring? Or is it just a case of Astro recycling props jer.... let me know your theories dalam ruangan Comments. Semalam and today memang hectic abih! For some reason tetiba workload increased by leaps and bounds. Walaupun sehari dua ni takkan ada assignment, tapi banyak lak kena siapkan. Kicking off dari malam semalam. Petang semalam ke sidang akhbar kedua untuk Anugerah Industri Muzik where they announced the results, Aku bangga gila sebab Nikki sangkut dua pencalonan. One for Best Music Video tuk Caramu and another for Drama with Ning dan Yanie. Bukan senang ok memandangkan kategori tuh sifu dominate ngan tiga lagu. Only one more song manage nak squeeze in, which was Ceritera Cinta. Mawi sangkut satu je, which was for Best Nasyid Album tapi ok ler. Yang penting nomination pun da top five in the country ok. Also to Bob, Farhan...ramainya kali ni kengkawan yang up for awards. Word up, Jac! Love you kak Aishah!! (kita sambung anyam ketupat another time ek) And so many more. Tahniah buat semua yang tercalon. It's going to be a great night (suspen better nak tau sapa menang dari nak tau sapa kena buang dari konsert ketujuh Akademi Fantasia sebab the one who goes will never be agreeable). Anyways.. leh tengok repeat. Heh...so not so much of a problem. By the way AIM ni special bagi aku for obvious reasons sebab aku wat comeback (kalao ikut perkembangan blog aku tau ler kenapa kan...heh...) So this year aku gi aku rancang nak as tamu je la. So tu senarainya...bagi sesapa yang pening ngan list tuh, ni au break down lagik senang tuk korang. Yang paling banyak pencalonan Sean Ghazi ngan sejumlah lapan, tapi dalam empat kategori. Cuma kesian because of technicality, dan album dia bukan genre pop atau yang dikenalpasti, dia tak dapatbertanding untuk kategori album, sekaligus terlepas pencalonan Album Terbaik. Rugi.... M. Nasir lak second with six nominations in three categories. Siti Nurhaliza and Jaclyn Victor masing masing ada empat pencalonan manakala Kristal, Reshmonu and Pete Teo has three each. Mereka yang masing masing ada dua pencalonan termasuk Bob, Farhan, Firdaus, Hijjaz, Raihan, Saleem, Search, Noryn Aziz, Fazli Zainal, Aishah, Juwita Suwito and Nikki. Fast forward...aku abih je PC tuh (dan banyak ketupat yang dianyam selepas hasil melepak sana je), sambung minum ngan Juan dan Ima Natasya (leh ke letak link uols...risau iols dinch mintak izin) for a drink kat Starbucks sampai kul lapan lebih. Tujuan melepak membuang masa lebih sejam sebab kena gi birthday party Fasha Sandha yang wat kat Senja at the Asian Heritage Row. Tima kasih ler bebanyak Fasha sebab siap bagi personal invitation. Sebenarnya meka berdua ni malu sangat nak berdua kat khalayak ramai nih.Sok ngan Fasha, aku heret Pierre, si Fasha lak lari. Da tarik Fasha, si Pierre lak wat alasan nak lari. Aduh!! Pening!!! Gosip meka bercinta ni...erm...aku tak leh komen ler. Tapi aku rasa korang tengok pic ni, dan dari description aku, korang leh paham paham sendiri. But I think meka ni make such a cute couple kan. Susah nak amik pic meka berdua, last last reluctantly pun meka pose kan tuk kamera aku ngan kawan kawan. hah...camtuh ler. Mintak la dapat makan nasi minyak ek....OOPS! Time tu jangan lupa ajak tau... Anyways, kebetulan time tu aku tengah layan perasaan because of someone, so mungkin aku pun tengah lovey dobey kot tengok meka berdua ni. Balik je layan lagu Rossa dua belas kali sampai nak tidur Na tidur lak...takleh...sebab air con aku kebetulan siang tadi, fuse box trip. Aiyo...cuaca lak panas nak mampos, bilik aku rasa cam ketuhar je. WALAUPUN kol 3 pagik or something like that ujan. Because of that tidur bila da subuh, jaga pun about noon. Terus ke opis badan rasa lain. Hate the heat! Aku biarla aku beka kesejukan dari panas berpeluh. Anyways...packed day again tadi. Dalam kesibukan, sempat le catch Diari. Well...part of it anyway. On to the vocal bits, syukur ler sangat Diari ada tunjuk bebudak menyanyi.... Shawal may have some problems though it seems he always does, until the concert where he delivers better. Aku harap dia takde masaalah consistency jer. Si Candy was screaming out Terlalu Istimewa which I know kak Dibah would just roll her eyes at, while Ebi just sounded like a bad version of Mawi. Hope these people improve cause I'm expecting these two to be among the better performers kali ni. Dafi was...urm...oh well...boyband at best. What else can I say about him Tengok camna ler dia leh sampai ke tak the higher notes. I'm counting on world hunger ending before that is remotely possible.... Ode To My Family was so badly mangled I almost didn't recognise it at all. Lucky for her I wasn't Syafi or I would have smacked her silly for yelping out random notes to attempt to sound like she was singing. Farha was a little worry too, sebab dia cam overdose karaoke. Hope he doesn't slip backwards after last week's decent performance. Aswad was just SO unbelievably bad, that I won't even go there. Kalao tak kang orang kata aku buta seni lak...padahal meka pekak badak kalao meka nak puji lalakan tuh. Dekna was badly off-key as well and I'm kind of disappointed because I was just starting to give her a chance. I hope so badly she proves my initial point of view of her berubah, but somehow, That was the good bit...(scary isn't it...tapi at least aku highlight yang positif gak...and that's as positive as it gets). Padan muka...nal lepas geram kan da cedera, Shawal oi! So many people said that the silly lepas geram room was not the best of ideas nak vent emotions dan sebagainya, but nope....they thought it was good. Good for creating more injuries at least lah nak show tuk isikan masa Diarrhea kot. Kok yer pun....nak wat benda camtuh, ajar ler budak budak ni cara sebetulnya nak tombok. With all sorts of penyakit and all, you'd think they'd be smart and not allow these kids any possibility of injuring themselves. It was all a little draggy from here on, and walaopon aku tonton, tapi aku tak pay attention, and hit the mute button when they later showed some of the other kids nyanyi sebab tengah gayut ngan seseorang nun jauh di Langkawi (rindunya!!!) Esok je la aku posting entry lain ek....panjang da ni...dan ngantuk...
Kepada peminat Aswad, yang selama ni aku refer to as Ass-Wipe, aku bebanyak minta maap kerana telah mengguris hati sesetengah pihak sebab komen komen aku yang mungkin telah mengakibatkan korang susah ati. Yer...walaupon dia nyanyi sombang, dan terkinja kinja cam kanak kanak riang Ribena atas pentas....aku tak berhak to call him all those names. Dengan ini, saya insaf...and janji takkan carut dia lagi sebab sememangnya....dia mempnyai aura sebagai seorang superstar yang bakal menyinar mengalahkan silauan letopan Hiroshima dan Nagasaki digabungkan. Memang kira Mawi pon takleh fight aaaa.... So I am sorry....

If there's anyone that should go FIRST (or second lepas Rizal - then followed by another pelajar yang tak kuasa nak sebut nama dia and Dafi...and Mila too), it should be Aswad. So pada sapa yang masuk kecoh kecoh pasal how 'talent' (tahan gelak aku dengar perkataan tu disebut in the same breath that mentions Ass-Wipe)...gambar ni aku dedicate kat korang. Lagik bising korang...agik banyak gambar aku letak ek. So be wary!
Anyway, hari ni aku nak ke dua tempat. Sibuk sikit ler. First ada pengumuman siapa finalis untuk Anugerah Industri Muzik tuk tahun ni. And then later tonight, ada jemputan dari Fasha Sandha join birthday party dia. So again, I will miss Diarrhea, tapi janji esok (atau lewat malam ni) I'll have a lot more pictures to post for all of you. To my sumber gambar, tima kasih, and keep it coming.
Music is beautiful, no matter what language it is in. It transcends the boundaries of race, religion, and even that of a geographical nature. Here's my list of songs from Indonesian pop and rock acts that are on my playlist, some of which are my all time favorites. Some old, some new and some just bloody timeless. Enjoy the sounds and listen beyond the music and the words - and instead tune into the emotions of each tune. No matter what genre they may be.
Say NO! to the hateful and malicious nature of some who choose to close our local music market for fear of competition simply because they are unable to compete, and unwilling to even try.
Support Malaysian music. Don't kill it by being ignorant. Music is ever evolving, and our local sound is slowing being rendered irrelevant. This is my protest against those who choose to be anti-Indonesian music, simply because SOME of our local talents and recording outfits are too lazy to innovate and create. This is the sound of Indonesia today. Are we up for the challenge to evolve and produce better music in healthy competition?

So...just what do you want to know about me?
I'm simple, and yet complicated.
It's as simple as that...but then again, perhaps not.
My life is kinda like my job, an oxymoron. Try this one out for size...'ethical journalist'. See, told you so.
Anyway, here's a brief (yeah right!) intro to my life.
I'm a proud Malaysian (and I mean literally!), of Chinese descent. I'm Christian (Roman Catholic!).
I'm kinda whacked. I believe in piercings, dyed hair, black nails, silver studs. leather and spiked accessories and oh... tattoos...body art is just that...art. Apart from anything else that will make me worth staring at.
Right now, I have a total of seven piercings (three on lobes - two left one right, left ear cartilage, nose, lower lip and tongue) with three taken out on brow (one ripped) as well as three tattoos with more to come.
Forget the tough exterior, cause I believe in hugging my parents, crying when I feel like it, require tender moments with my significant other, and I appreciate my friends. As Kim from America's Next Top Model said it best. "What's my secret? I may look tough on the outside, but really, I scream like a girl!"

I 32 as of last July 17, and it's past the mid life crisis come early for me as I struggled to deal with the coming of age thing. I am working as a freelance senior entertainment journalist, a job which I have been at ever since I decided to quit college, two subjects short of graduating. I was taking my Diploma In Sound and Audio Engineering. Until recently that is.
Now I do a lot of freelance overall talent consultancy which includes image and communication. I am also in the process of starting my own company klubbkidd Sdn Bhd, which is producing its first TV show from a format that I have created myself. The show will most likely be on air sometime end 2008.
I have donelive sound production for some concerts and shows and a little bit of studio work in hopes of becoming a sound engineer with what I've studies, when I turned back to my first love, writing.
Was doing general news, specialized awhile in politics, did a little features, crime, business and sports and dabbled in related journalism fields before finally settling into my current position, thankfully, entertainment, the perks of which is doing what I've always loved (writing and indulging in music) and also backstage passes to meet my favorite acts. It's eleven years now, and I'm still golding it there.
Looking back - whatever's gone on in my life - it's not too hard to be positive and look ahead, with more pleasant of the memories to make the journey a little easier.
And these very memories which I cherish so, are the reasons behind why I started blogging.
The friendships and variety of relationships I've been through, allow me to highlight the mistakes I've made and how not to repeat them, not to compromise my principles too much for love, and also a balance in sacrificing my ego, and how I must learn to be stronger in the face of adversity.
So I've never figured myself to be a real hoot.I pace on day by day, occasionally skipping, sometimes with just a little jaunty bounce. More often than not, I go smack! either on my rear end (which needs more meat) or flat on my face.Life treats me well, I suppose, so I shouldn't gripe. I am stll my own hero - that's positivity through self-affirmation for you.

This definitely takes slapstick to a whole new level. Sapa feeling takut nak tengok Zombi Kampung Pisang, jangan ler. Tak horror langsung. Kalau takut gelak, yes, elak dari tonton filem ni.
Anyways aku tak paham kenapa Diarrhea ari ni meka tunjuk Friday's recordings sebab tak perlu ok nak live in the past gituh. 
Sila alih perhatian ke kanan ni. Ada gambar dua mangkuk jamban paling kesialan yang aku pernah jumpa. This picture was taken while I was having dinner at iZZi kat Bukit Bintang, sambil taking advantage their 'bottomless beverage' offer (drink all you can) and the free wifi.
Anyhoo...walked in the optometrist saja nak browse...and then saw a few I liked...and then decided to go another shop...and another...and another...and another....until I walked out with this. Yes, people, I am now proudly in possession of my first pair of
