Does anyone ever question Astro for keeping the origin of the votes a a secret. Thanks to technology, Astro bukan tatau dari mana asal AFUNDI tuh semua. Yes, setiap musim, meka tau, how much each unique number votes, and you my dear friends yang SMS (aku stop dari musim ketiga), form part of these figures that they compile. Now, soalan cepumas hari ni. Will Astro ever reveal how much is pumped in by the number of uniqe numbers? Hell no!!! You think they care even if it all came from a handful? Janji masyuk kan.... plus... it would force others to vote more to get their favourites up there. Sad... but oh so true. Oh believe you me....I'm all for democracy and putting the power in the hands of the people through expensive text voting (there's one born every minute, I say) tapi kan, aku rasa this is already ridiculous. Ini bukan agik soal siapa menjadi pilihan penonton, dan siapa yang paling mengerakkan hati peminat tuk spend their hzrd earned money for them. And I think the AFUNDI shows it's pretty obvious. What can be done about this? Sadly enough.... nothing! So what happens, I say give the 'voters' (walaopon tak genuine) what they want. Yes, I thought so. But these figures prove something. No matter what orang nak cakap ler dengki ke busuk ati ke haper ke kita kerana nak mengkritik Akademi Fantasia, this season, the programme da lari konsep bukan saja dari pencarian bakat tapi it also is no longer even a question of popularity. Now, it's about how much financial backing you have. Just like a business. Oh well... at the end of the day, we all know, no matter how much money pun, takkan ko nak beli 10,000 unit album kalau da takde orang nak beli tuk lakukan kononnya product sendiri kan. And as for Astro, aku rasa meka baik kaji balik the system. Because it's obvious money votes can influence the decision. Why? Theory! Kalau sebelom ni, ikutan Akademi Fantasia dari segi jumlah SMS yang diterima begitu hebat, not even the richest man in Malaysia would bother to put his son or daughter through the competition until the final sebab it would take a LOT of money. Now however, it's obvious that the AFUNDI pool have shrunk and people have just stopped voting. Cuba kalau Astro nak buktikan aku salah, kuarkan angka angka dan peratusan undian dari musim pertama. See the number of unique voters, and why the votes tak berkembang just as much as their viewership figures. Because kalau da ada sorang dua (dan ahli keluarga lain) pump in so much money... of course the percentage shrinks. So is Akademi Fantasia a flop this year? Ada yang mengatakan ratings naik melambung. Ok...aku tak nafikan, jumlah penonton sudah pastinya akan bertambah. But tarik kuar semua graf subscribers Astro dari lima tahun lepas. Dari musim pertama, sampai skang, compare the percentage growth of the subscribership base versus the amoung spent on AFUNDI. Ada tak trend menurun. Yes...ari ni kira intelligent posting ler...konon ler. Sebab banyak perkara main kat pala aku nih. Ada yang katakan, kalao tak suka jangan tengok. Truth is, aku da nonton sejak musim pertama, and I have always said it is still the most popular show. Cuma... setiap tahun, lepas musim kedua, kita sedikit sebanyak nampak a slump, kejatuhan dari segi kualiti. Oh not by the money they spend....memang la kalao dulu musim pertama kedua bebudak pun tak dimanjaan kemewahan sangat, skang nampaknya sebab da smakin popular sponsor pun bertambah, untung pun lebih ler pada bebudak tu. The quality I mean dari segi appeal and originality of the programme yang many of us have come to love. Oh well... Tu la pasal nya, malam ni, carta peratusan ni pun...leh tell me such a story kan... Back to my day, ari ni aku relaxed... so much so malas sebenarnya nak tengok Diarrhea kang get me in a foul mood jer. Heh...takde ler...sebenarnya ari ni kira casual Friday bagik aku so nak take advantage of it. Tambah agik for some reason midnight semalam, aku check my Maybank account, tengok tengok bukan je ada jumlah gaji da masuk, plus savings aku yang aku happy giler nih, tapi also a four figure amount yang banked in. Ok...it was actually a few Ringgit short of a thousand, tapi terkejut gak sebab tertanya mana datang duit tuh. Oh well, don't know where it came from, but I know where it's going to. Tomorrow's Saturday and I have the whole day free...so...it's SHOPPING TIME!
Before I end this entry yang meroyan pondering ala analytical ni, want to share something that's been bugging me for the last two weeks. Siapa yang tak penah tengok show kat Dewan Sivik for the live concert wouldn't have noticed this. Tapi tengok pic kat atas tuh. Tuh meja yang digunakan pengkritik. The funny thing is, atas setiap meja tuh, there are two buttons, one red and one blue. No, they're not service buttons, bukan tekan skali leh order air ke extra pillows ke (though I bet that was possible for the more boring performances - the pillow part I mean). I thought they weren't working at first, tapi by the end of concert pertama, gatal gak tangan aku gi tekan ler. And yes, the buttons are actually in working order. What do they do? Well, the red button kalau ditekan, ada lampu merah kuar dari bahadian depan podium pengkritik tuh, while kalao tekan biru, kuar ler lampu biru. Something like this, masa aku main main with it time meka da mula tup lampu dewan. Rasa cam something out of Saturday Night Fever lak... (that or out of Tekaria - membuktikan aku tua da sebab ingat gameshow kat RTM tahun 80an)
Hah...tu example nya. The first one, tak tekan, takde lampu. Yang tekan biru, of course lampu biru, and merah of course the front panel turns red. Matilah kalau tean dua sekali bukan dapat warna ungu ok. And trust me, aku tekan kedua nya skali, tetap merah sebab overpower the blue kot. The next question is... what for? Pengkritik nak ok atau out kan contestant ke? Adakah itu gimik ke kejutan akan datang? Adakah itu akan menandakan some manner of inteference of the critics to the results which has been determined by some rich fat cats voting their talentless offspring? Or is it just a case of Astro recycling props jer.... let me know your theories dalam ruangan Comments. Semalam and today memang hectic abih! For some reason tetiba workload increased by leaps and bounds. Walaupun sehari dua ni takkan ada assignment, tapi banyak lak kena siapkan. Kicking off dari malam semalam. Petang semalam ke sidang akhbar kedua untuk Anugerah Industri Muzik where they announced the results, Aku bangga gila sebab Nikki sangkut dua pencalonan. One for Best Music Video tuk Caramu and another for Drama with Ning dan Yanie. Bukan senang ok memandangkan kategori tuh sifu dominate ngan tiga lagu. Only one more song manage nak squeeze in, which was Ceritera Cinta. Mawi sangkut satu je, which was for Best Nasyid Album tapi ok ler. Yang penting nomination pun da top five in the country ok. Also to Bob, Farhan...ramainya kali ni kengkawan yang up for awards. Word up, Jac! Love you kak Aishah!! (kita sambung anyam ketupat another time ek) And so many more. Tahniah buat semua yang tercalon. It's going to be a great night (suspen better nak tau sapa menang dari nak tau sapa kena buang dari konsert ketujuh Akademi Fantasia sebab the one who goes will never be agreeable). Anyways.. leh tengok repeat. Heh...so not so much of a problem. By the way AIM ni special bagi aku for obvious reasons sebab aku wat comeback (kalao ikut perkembangan blog aku tau ler kenapa kan...heh...) So this year aku gi aku rancang nak as tamu je la. Malas lak keja malam tu. Sebab jemputan aku ada dalam professional capacity as well as personal, walaupon tahun ni aku tak amik bahagian dalam proses judging. Sebenarnya meka berdua ni malu sangat nak berdua kat khalayak ramai nih.Sok ngan Fasha, aku heret Pierre, si Fasha lak lari. Da tarik Fasha, si Pierre lak wat alasan nak lari. Aduh!! Pening!!! Gosip meka bercinta ni...erm...aku tak leh komen ler. Tapi aku rasa korang tengok pic ni, dan dari description aku, korang leh paham paham sendiri. But I think meka ni make such a cute couple kan. Susah nak amik pic meka berdua, last last reluctantly pun meka pose kan tuk kamera aku ngan kawan kawan. hah...camtuh ler. Mintak la dapat makan nasi minyak ek....OOPS! Time tu jangan lupa ajak tau... Anyways, kebetulan time tu aku tengah layan perasaan because of someone, so mungkin aku pun tengah lovey dobey kot tengok meka berdua ni. Balik je layan lagu Rossa dua belas kali sampai nak tidur Na tidur lak...takleh...sebab air con aku kebetulan siang tadi, fuse box trip. Aiyo...cuaca lak panas nak mampos, bilik aku rasa cam ketuhar je. WALAUPUN kol 3 pagik or something like that ujan. Because of that tidur bila da subuh, jaga pun about noon. Terus ke opis badan rasa lain. Hate the heat! Aku biarla aku beka kesejukan dari panas berpeluh. Anyways...packed day again tadi. Dalam kesibukan, sempat le catch Diari. Well...part of it anyway. On to the vocal bits, syukur ler sangat Diari ada tunjuk bebudak menyanyi.... Shawal may have some problems though it seems he always does, until the concert where he delivers better. Aku harap dia takde masaalah consistency jer. Si Candy was screaming out Terlalu Istimewa which I know kak Dibah would just roll her eyes at, while Ebi just sounded like a bad version of Mawi. Hope these people improve cause I'm expecting these two to be among the better performers kali ni. Dafi was...urm...oh well...boyband at best. What else can I say about him Tengok camna ler dia leh sampai ke tak the higher notes. I'm counting on world hunger ending before that is remotely possible.... Ode To My Family was so badly mangled I almost didn't recognise it at all. Lucky for her I wasn't Syafi or I would have smacked her silly for yelping out random notes to attempt to sound like she was singing. Farha was a little worry too, sebab dia cam overdose karaoke. Hope he doesn't slip backwards after last week's decent performance. Aswad was just SO unbelievably bad, that I won't even go there. Kalao tak kang orang kata aku buta seni lak...padahal meka pekak badak kalao meka nak puji lalakan tuh. Dekna was badly off-key as well and I'm kind of disappointed because I was just starting to give her a chance. I hope so badly she proves my initial point of view of her berubah, but somehow, That was the good bit...(scary isn't it...tapi at least aku highlight yang positif gak...and that's as positive as it gets). Padan muka...nal lepas geram kan da cedera, Shawal oi! So many people said that the silly lepas geram room was not the best of ideas nak vent emotions dan sebagainya, but nope....they thought it was good. Good for creating more injuries at least lah nak show tuk isikan masa Diarrhea kot. Kok yer pun....nak wat benda camtuh, ajar ler budak budak ni cara sebetulnya nak tombok. With all sorts of penyakit and all, you'd think they'd be smart and not allow these kids any possibility of injuring themselves. It was all a little draggy from here on, and walaopon aku tonton, tapi aku tak pay attention, and hit the mute button when they later showed some of the other kids nyanyi sebab tengah gayut ngan seseorang nun jauh di Langkawi (rindunya!!!) Esok je la aku posting entry lain ek....panjang da ni...dan ngantuk...
Kepada peminat Aswad, yang selama ni aku refer to as Ass-Wipe, aku bebanyak minta maap kerana telah mengguris hati sesetengah pihak sebab komen komen aku yang mungkin telah mengakibatkan korang susah ati. Yer...walaupon dia nyanyi sombang, dan terkinja kinja cam kanak kanak riang Ribena atas pentas....aku tak berhak to call him all those names. Dengan ini, saya insaf...and janji takkan carut dia lagi sebab sememangnya....dia mempnyai aura sebagai seorang superstar yang bakal menyinar mengalahkan silauan letopan Hiroshima dan Nagasaki digabungkan. Memang kira Mawi pon takleh fight aaaa.... So I am sorry....

If there's anyone that should go FIRST (or second lepas Rizal - then followed by another pelajar yang tak kuasa nak sebut nama dia and Dafi...and Mila too), it should be Aswad. So pada sapa yang masuk kecoh kecoh pasal how 'talent' (tahan gelak aku dengar perkataan tu disebut in the same breath that mentions Ass-Wipe)...gambar ni aku dedicate kat korang. Lagik bising korang...agik banyak gambar aku letak ek. So be wary!
Anyway, hari ni aku nak ke dua tempat. Sibuk sikit ler. First ada pengumuman siapa finalis untuk Anugerah Industri Muzik tuk tahun ni. And then later tonight, ada jemputan dari Fasha Sandha join birthday party dia. The whole day aku relaxed after the hectic one or two days. Gi launch album Felix belah petang, hung out a bit (sorry tak amik pics) dan kemudian belah malam lari ke Sri Pentas tuk pelancaran Fiesta Media Idola, which incidentally I don't think I'll be going this year cause so many other things happening at once. Tapi kalau tergerak hati, maybe drive down to Kuantan sehari dua leh kot. Merasalah tawaran Datuk Siti Nurhaliza nak lawan netball (heh...tak baik tau Siti....kita same team lah...heh!) Walaupon ari ni takde pasal Diarrhea, ni ada sikit aku nak cakap. Bosan tol trend setiap Akademi Fantasia. Everytime the competiton starts, so does musim langau. Maksudnya ada je ler yang start masuk rumah aku ni bising tuh dan nih. Oh well...aku malas nak cakapkan apa, cuma aku sediakan Ridsect satu tin je nak spray... Apapun, thanks to my secret provider of damaging pictures, pada peminat Rizal (ada ke?) aku dedicate korang gambar gambar ni. Not feeling too well today. Pening, loya dan sebagainya lah. Matilah morning sickness katanya...anyways was ok enough to go for the PC ngan si Afiq. Abih je rush balik office pas hantar Juan and then continued with two more articles. Aduh pala pening siot takleh pikir. Seb baik everything just flowed so it wasn't all that hard. By the time I was done pun da nak kul 7 petang, rush ke Low Yat Plaza nak beli lagik peripherals tuk laptop aku. Merasalah add on cooling dock, USB light dan vakum yang aku da pass to my sis nak gantikan. Abih je singgah gi makan kat gerai kak Ara nak makan my first meal of the day sebab appetite finally came back Benda pertama meka umumkan dalam Diarrhea, konsert diubah ke hari Ahad.Heh....bagus la kalao da terbuka hati orang Astro nak hormat Maulidur Rasul. Ada gak yang elok dalam Diarrhea ni. The boys started out fine picking the songs when it came to song selection, tapi as expected...the girls kecoh nak mampos. Aku tengok cam sikit lagi nak throw punches da meka ni. Sampai kena ada chaperone ngan whats-her-name yang warden meka tuh. Still, in a way it was good sebab nampak meka ni sentap menyentap sebab meka realise how important the song selection is. Tapi kan aku seriously wonder meka ni pandai ke, tau ke nak pilih lagu yang bersesuaian ngan diri meka...not just sing what they like. Ok...so masa masuk dewan semalam, the situation was chaotic in the dewan to say the least.... yerlah...kalao da venue kecik, tetiba tuan rumah lak beriya nak penuhkan ruang kalahkan seperti buat kat Stadiumn Negara wat camna kan? Berpuluh seat tetiba reserved sampai yang ada ticket mai awal pon kena dok belakang...kesian..deja vu lak aku cam kat Mesra Sokmo Cit Cat...kannn!!!! Oh well...entahlah. Nak kata dewan packed pon tak...tamu jer lebih. Nak kata tamu kehormat ke tak...no komen. Sebenarnya dari luar dewan pon da ada dak kuarga Akademi Fantasia yang dijemput menhadiri pon da mengeluh ngan keadaan. Entah lah tuan rumah ting tong sebab banyak urusan kot sampai tamu dijemput pon wat tak kuasa mau melayan. Hrmmm...oh whatever. If we had anything better to do on Saturday night... and we didn't have to work... Anyway, bab intro, matila memang Astro tak meletop melalui program meletop je pakai pyro nak pekakkan orang pada nyanyian yang bakal sumbang. And what can I say about the intro. Apala konsep posa mannequin, konsep menari cam robot ke ala Bring It On??? Bring on those spirit fingers!!!...everything else is aleady tacky as it is. If they thought that was funny, I bet the same people who thought it up pun rasa Raja Lawak leh pecah perut kot.IT WAS NOTHING SHORT OF RETARDED!!! Mai kita undi sapa rupa pasling spastik....I think Rizal dan another person tuh, paling sesuai untuk jadi calon Raja Lawak ketika intro dan pengenalan tu. Trust ler Astro nak bagi Aswad last konon nak hype up dia. Ok...I change my mind. He looks most spasticated among them all la. Mesti prodcution ala ala Zana tertekan kan, dalam nak mencari idea baru sampai terpaksa wat Raja Lawak The Sequel. Eh...dengar lak meka kan teguran orang nak dedahkan kedudukan akhirnya. These were the opening rankings, Dafi, Heliza, Aswad, Fatin, Ebi, Rizal, Shawal, Farha, Candy, Afiq , Noni, Dekna and Mila. Merasalah duo anak Datuk conquer!!!! Argh...bila dia ada dalam dewan agik nyampah lak aku tengok Aswad.... Eh...Candy nyanyi dulu....moka cam Farahdhiya lak. Tapi versi kemetot ler. Alahai...kalau biasa trigger tuh wat secara mengejut, kali ni lak Ruth Sahanaya, Titi DJj dan Kris Dayanti di bawa awal awal. Yerlah nak promo konsert malam esok kan...aduh. Nampaknya Akademi Fantasia ni dicommecialkan da jadik iklan lak diselit masuk.
Candy - Semua Jadi Satu (3 Diva) Nak komen ala Jee leh tak? She looked good! Ada ler part of a star. She did pretty ok, tapi sebab music banyak improve senang sikit nak dengar kot. But she was slurring from the, and suka lak dia ni meneran jer. Her high notes were relatively well handles tapi she really has to improve her grasp of the lower range. Pitchy sana sini sikit...but ok. By the way did anyone notice that disturbing Winamp visualizer kat belakang in the backdrop tak. Aduh...graphics gagal. Back to the show, I think Candy did ok...though she lost the diva mood and at times looked a bit more glorified lounge singer. Was it just me or did the music towards the end pitch down? Korang perasan tak? Tetiba je... Uwaa...Jee da pandai nak amik notes. Motif perlu baca takleh explain direct? Hurmph! Hattan on the mark, Ogy lak komen pasal sustaining the energy level ketika persembahan.Statement of the night dari kak Ogy : Play with the camera .... aiyo...jangannnnn dikkk...ingat Zana! Matilah aku mencarut.
Rizal - Kembali Merindu Ye mula je da leh kata dia ni confirm pemenang Piala Sumbangsih. No vocal projection and horrendous on the low notes. Takpela...kalau tatau melodi apa lagik, thrust your pelvis lambung telor sat konperm undian masuk. Selamat lagi seminggu bila pengundi yang gersang dan gedik rupa elok menghabiskan duit. Gembira Astro.. Persembahan dia cam trying too hard, and at times kalahkan kebadutan seseorang tu. He seriously is one of the worst. Takpelah dik...kalau kuar Akademi Fantasia, leh carik keja kat Patpong kat go go bar. Kalau tak pon podium dancer kat Blue Boy ek...matilah Down Under katanya. Semput, sumbang, bosan, and just too bloody lewd. Yer...this is wholesome family entertainment. Who would have thought lagu Slam leh lambong telor masin sampai camtuh. Heh...aduh...si Jee lak emo siot! Yes, another penyanyi fun fair dilahirkan. Mmm..nampaknya while si Jee working hard nak credibility, si Hattan dan Jee lak melayan siot si Rizal ni. Pening... Ni cam planning je nak elakkan Jee from looking too bimbo through her comments in looking like she is intelligent unlike last week. Leh bertahan agik dak ni...whatever...esok lusa kuar kan, tak ngaku kang bertanggungjawab tuk hasilkan penyanyi camni.
Ebi - Bailamos (Enrique Iglesias) Start je lagu, haram sepatah aku paham apa dia nyanyi. Walaopon aku maintain tone Ebi ni sedap sebenarnya, tapi dia kena penyakit si Rizal da....syok sendiri. And it seems the dancers pon...sampai tahap step pon tak ingat tak mampu. Erm...ni dak kecik yang ada kat Macam Macam Aznil...gelek besh tapi dia tak wat bootylicious langsung cam dulu. Nampaknya Jee stress dalam nak buktikan she's worth her salt in the seat....oh well. She really needs to try harder. Mmm...Hattan kata ok lagik. Hmm...Ogy lak wat statement tergoda? "I feel your sexiness". Mmm...CONFRIM ni mesti kena directive dari Astro cam nak reverse minggu lepas bagi ruang kat Jee nak shine konon become the evil one, while the other two jadik bimbo in terms of komentar lak sebab Jee kena hentam sebelum ni.
Heliza - Aku Bukan Untukmu (Rossa) Lower notes a little shaky and bit off here and there, tapi awmigawd awmigawd awmigawd....ala Zana ni...she can sing. I know she has pitching and problems and lack of control here and there, but overall, she still performed with much poise and grace with much potential to show for. You want to talk about potential? Here she is! Not her best show...for sure. But a promise of much better things to come. Hmphhh... I think meka lebih jujur dalam kritikan kat dia sebab obvious dia top three sebab fan favourite so selamat ler konon nak kritik lebih lebih. No matter what the agenda, aku rasa not fair je, sedangkan anak Datuk dua oang yang top three cam bagi can je dalam berkomen. Who cares what they say? It was an excellent performance and she kicked ass again!
Fatin - Bila Rindu Ku Sebut Namamu (Siti Fairuz) Setelah sup perut, kami terus ke hidangan sup tulanglak. Matilah bak kut teh!!!! Sop tulang dan daging *toot*. Syabas kepada Fatin kerana telah berjaya menjadi Haziq, tapi kalao dia dulu memperjuangkan asli, ni lak memang Dangdut Idol lah! Kenapa bulu dada dia terkeluar? Style apalak tuh??? Tak sesuai ngan tagline dia... Style baju ko robek kat belakang telah ku pakai skin coloured top supaya tak terdedah tolang tolang aku. Oh God....nak tidur rasanya....she sucks! If they want to talk of potential, I honestly think meka kena pikir balik potential apa yang meka cari.
Farha - Biarkan Aku Menangis (Tommy J. Pisa) The real surprise of the night. Walaupon ada yang pekak mengatakan persembahan dia bagus minggu lepas, I thought he was horrible. But this week he did quite good and redeemed himself. Ada slip ups sana sini, tapi the only one with any real improvement, , maybe because of choice of song. Walaopon si Mila wat sora Doraemon dalam nak backing, tak cacatkan show dia. Bosan tol si Jee nih. Can she say anything that's relevant apart from stating the obvious? Hattan pointed out more about dynamics and Ogy on penghayatan. Hah...da bagi can send message kat mother, confirm ada makcik makcik AFUNDI....amik ko! Hope he keeps improving, sebab I see him like Candy slowly developing to try and catch up with Heliza and Shawal.
Mila - Gotta Tell You (Samantha Mumba) Nobita nyanyi dari start to end sumbang abih. Argh....nasib baik ada penaja tisu Premiere kat dewan ni. Dapat aku lap telinga aku yang berdarah nih....meleleh ok! Apa punya backing music tuh kosong sangat??? That's the third song in a row horrible punya minus one. Kalau korang penah dengar original version, you'd know the music tak busuk camni. Huh...da mula da....abih ler minah ni....dah ler lagu ni melody dia susah sikit, ngan muzik camtuh takde guide...good luck je la. Dahler nyampah muzik, pastu sora Nobita dia....siap penyanyi lelaki sorang tuh yang midget tuh yang ciom pipi KD overdose joget cam show dia lak. Jee actually point out macam macam...but she should have noticed there was no melody in the first place. Blah blah blah...whatever....si Ogy nak komen pasai dia dan Afiq lak...dahler dak ni memang last...nampaknya tau je sapa yang sorong beg ler...obvious. Antara dua tuh je...bab kenen kenen ni lately confirmkan orang akan kena halau. Worst performance of the night for girls, and as bad as Rizal.
Afiq - Biso Benor (Hattan) Ada ler sorang ni bisikkan...dia ngaku kan dia epileptic...kira ada sawan *toot* ler. Abih...si poyo ni...sesuai ler ngan dia. Sawan Afiq ler namanya...merasalah sawan poyo. Ni ker performance yang diakatakan dia nak buat better than the original? Cakap je lebih...hasil? Nan ado katanya! Start ngan kelas taichi warga emas, in a bad impersonation of Hattan, and then sombang here there, if he wasn't dead flat. Performance overdose dan berangan sangat feeling superstar katanya....argh!!! Overacting tol!!! Sakit jiwa!! Aku rasa aku lak nak kena sawan si poyo nih!!!!! Matilah Jee kata dia nih leh versatile? Merasalah leh jadi bottom! Boring....someone please put him on the to be eliminated list. Oops....nampaknya wishes do come true. Merasalah critics pun lak membosankan. Except Ogy yang kata ada tenaga. Merasalah tenaga kinetik gerak tak abih abih step taichi flapping his arms about.
Noni - Mirai E (Kiroro) She did ok vocally, but honestly it was nothing great, but a decent copy of the original. Tapi biasalah kalao da memasing miming skali, tau je ada lirik yang modified sana sini. Tapi yang aku tension ngan dia wat performance ala Hari Penyampaian Hadiah (Sekolah Rendah Kampung Pelir Hitam lagik ke?) Penghayatan cam lagu gi funfair naik kuda merry go round ler. She was just bouncing up and down, and she didn't seem have a clue what the song was about. Of course I'm assuming they gave her the translation ler. Jee kata berjaya cuit ati penonton. Hurm....suka tau speak for other people's behalf. Hattan was more obvious and forthcoming katakan dia ni memang ala tak paham. Apa la percubaan berani lak si Ogy ni katakan, sedangkan lagu ni memang hit ngan bebudak, most people know this song anyway. And it's a freaking assignmen so apa lak cita nih berani ke tak? Masa Yamada cakap tuh, aku cuma dengar cam dia cakap 'hanjeng'. Merasalah kalau dia carut on national TV pun orang tatau kan! Bagus ek katanya...kalau da ajak mai takkan carut ler kan?
Dekna - Cinta (Amy Mastura) Gedekna datang bali agik ngan...erm...gediknya. Oh God...that short dancer memang sakitkan hati siot! Another Patpong attempt by her ngan gyration yang tak perlu by her ala Rizal dan Ebi. But she didn't do half as bad though she sunk on the lower notes. Projection, baby, projection... And I sure as hell tak nampak tol identiti dia langsung. Setiap lagu dia perform, she's coming across as a weak-ass copy of the original. She struggled with the dance break and da tak mampu follow in the end, so sesuai ler gelek je keja dia sambil catwalk sana sini je. Matilah you can be a joker kata si Jee...elok la...Raja Lawak musim kedua ler (ada ke?). Ini seorang artis kata Ogy (artis majalah ke?)...erm...leh jadik pelakon katanya...(jangan lupa leh endorse Mamee Slurp)
Dafi - Pencinta Wanita (Irwansyah) Ngan berpakaian cam dak tadika, Dafi diminta play with himself ler katanya kalao ikut Aznil. Heh...are you getting the horrible images I'm getting in my mind? Affirming he likes women (yerla...aku memang pencinta wanita katanya), Jambu whispered his way through the song. Ala...Irwansyah wasn't all that great a singer anyway in the first place, so sebenarnya apa yang diuji melalui lagu ni? Dafi sang through his nose thoughout, which I have to say is a skill. Aiyak...Kefli kembali in Dafi. "Yang lembut seperti dia?" Ke Diya? Matilah aku kena carut ngan pencinta Jambu. Yes...yes...just what we need. Another pretty boy who sings through his nose and harapkan yang gersang abihkan duit. Marketable? Only if you think we need another one of those. Tengok tuh? Jee pun kata kan...amik ler. Hattan was more honest about he wasn't tested ngan lagu senang bantu dia dua minggu berturut turut. Ogy was actually getting on my nerves, sebab for the second time, pas Rizal, dia merembes and allow it to influence her comments. Whatever.... The break was another hal. Dijemput ngan tamu lain tuk go have a bite kat backstage. Kesian Farihad kena laser sedas, "For staff only". Leh? Aku dengar member kena, aku terus tak kuasa nak join. Masuk balik dewan layan snacks aku lagik elok. Setakat kalao nak makan kuli kuli berangan, baik aku temankan Farihad je dok sembang pasal performance yang da lepas. Merasalah catering staff tu minta maaf ngan aku....aku lak tunjuk kat Farihad sambil walk off tak kuasa. Oh by the way, at this point, yer Astro da confirm minggu depan konsert ketiga akan jalan, walaupun Maulidur Rasul. Kononnya konsep persembahan minggu akan datang lak lagu berunsur keTuhanan or devotional or something along those lines. Whatever....on with the show after the news.
Aswad - Nak Kahwin Duit Tak Ada (Sweet September) Aku nyampah tol ler....two in one promotion siot. For slot MisteRIA ngan Aswad skali. Arghhh!!! Please lah. Anyone who thinks he looks or sings or acts like a star, Aku rasa cam tengok audition kat @15 live lak...please lah. So F****** amateur!!! Overdose....rempit yang menyerupai Bangla ni menggila kat atas pentas trying to pull off something he's seen before. Oh God....you call that singing? No wonder ler pernah ada band dulu tak penah jalan kena masuk Akademi Fantasia lak. Out his horrible ass! Natural entertainer kata Jee. Someone remind her dia ni critic tuk Akademi Fantasia bukan tuk Raja Lawak, which is something she seems to be consistently forgetting. Hattan kata dia best projection tapi tak sebut dia patut nya nyanyi...bukan menjerit. Ogy pun same...kata elok. Leh? Meka nak try and make him Mawi ler konon ler....yerlah...nak ply on people's sympathy, kesian blah blah blah....puji melambung sebab tengok ada AFUNDI masuk. Arghhh!!! Cam kesiallll!!!! Stop trying to make another Mawi lah!!! He's vocally bankrupt (is there such a thing?) He's even more horrible to look at (kesian make-up artiste mesti kena burn span pas make up dia nak elak jangkitan) He performs like a fun fair freak. He looks like a bloody clothes hanger (sesuai dia ngan fatin poster models for anorexia) He's failed before in his singing career ngan kumpulan dia, and we wonder why Akademi Fantasia thinks this has-been has got potential. BUSUK!!! I take it back about Rizal and Mila...they were both tied for second worst. Ass-wipe gets a historis three toilet plungers!
Shawal - Kenang Mengusik Jiwa (A. Ramlie) My belief in his tone justified. He performed quite well walaupon Astro badutkan dia ngan baju dan jambul overdose extension. Honestly ler...teringat time Felix kena lak stereotype jadik court jester ngan pakaian dan pilihan lagu. Please lah...hopefully this doesn't happen. When pretty boys like Dafi orang leh puji...talent cam dia dan Heliza yang ketara bagus langit dan bumi meka tak puji aku tatau ler camna. Kalau my worst fears confirmed, akibatnya, lahirla ramai lagik artis mee segera. Jee kata blah blah blah (not worth my time) "I deserve my comment" kata Hattan. Matilah belajar ngan Najmi ting tong gak English dia. ENglish very the quality Akademi Fantasia. Ogy obviously was trying (under directive ke) nak puji the faculty and students sampai nak puji sebakul, hmphhh!!! What lah...so malu lah camni....plugging own product. Keji lah. But their own show meka leh wat kan...since they're shameless in this aspect. Honestly... the kids improved sebab music improve SLIGHTLY. And that was it. Because they didn't do all that great in all. And if anything, Dr Love and Mr Lovely takyah bangun sebab I don't see their contribution. Apapun, Shawal was the best for the night! Undoubtedly! (patutnya 4 1/2 tapi tolak 1/2 sebab jambul menyakitkan mata!)
Menuju Puncak Tetap remix busuk yang ala fengtau version of an old Burt Bacharah song. No effort langsung nak improve langsung walaopon ni tetap the worst version ever as agreed by the fans. God have mercy with the stupid taichi (ala Poyo) and silat intro and outro. Let's not forget holding the twinkle twinkle little star punya move tuh awal awal in the song. Sad, pathetic and just stupid. Let's not mention Ass-wipe was still the most horrible throughout. Aku takleh terima yang ada mengatakan this version of Menuju Puncak kicks ass when it's so sucky and horrible. It inspired the third rate choreography we see, and honestly I don't blame Linda Jasmine at all because no one could choreograph that tune into something spectacular. Aku perasan ada poll kat website Akademi Fantasia yang poll 'Adakah anda menyukai lagu tema Menuju Puncak versi baru?' And guess what, yang menjawab Tidak accounted for 52.3% Yang katakan ya cuma 21.56%. That's less than a quarter, ok! And despite this they still think fans like it? Apa sebenarnya yang susah meka nak ubah kan lagu tu to make it more interesting instead of more shitty. In fact kalau nak kaji Akademi Fantasia Indosiar, I remember a season where every other week, meka ada tema, so Menuju Puncak meka diubah ikut tema yang ditetapkan, dari segi muzik, dan juga choreography. Kenapa kita tak mampu ke? And then we complain about Indonesians being better, bila tahap belajar pun bukan je pelajar malas tapi orang yang patutnya push these kids 2x5. Oh by the way, aku pun tried nak join the poll... no prizes ler for guessing what my answer to the poll was. But guess what happened. Dari berkali aku cuba, ini hasilnya. Did someone stop it because the percentage was getting too high? Or did they run out of resources sebab exhausted their bandwidth or whatever bila orang masuk nak vote for a change. Tapi thanks kids sebab sporting nak posing, walaopon terpaksa kuar pembaris tamao amik pics dekat dekat tau mengundang kontroversi katanya! Yang pentingnya, visually, I think they maku such a good couple. Matilah pas gambar Yasmin Hani semalam, blog ni jadi papparazi tuk pics pasangan bercinta lak! Amacam...do they make a cute couple or not? So kami reramai lepak ler kat this corner of the parking sambil sorang sorang sampai. Rupanya patut ada some promo bintang Akademi Fantasia and meet the fans session, tapi cancelled. Tu yang ramai lak bebudak mai. Selain Bob, Marsha dan Kefli, si Rosma pun ada! Pas kejap, si Nana dan Reza (accompanied by his mum), Edlin then followed by si Fitri. Aduh! Kecoh. Yang pentingnya wakil semua musim Akademi Fantasia ada kecuali musim keempat. Kenapa? Aku pun tatau.... By the way, saja nak sebut, respek si Mawi sebab dia pon follow gak program Akademi Fantasia walaopon sibuk. Arituh masa PC Aduh Saliha, si botak tegur pasal aku dalam Debat Akademi Fantasia minggu lalu. "Tapi tu lain...Mawi boleh nyanyi, ek" gelak si botak. Siot je...kembang lobang idong ler tuh aku puji. Heh! Tu masa kami kat event tu ramai ramai nyanyi Angkat Kaki feeling Fatin (rugi korang tak dapat tengok botak feeling jadi Fatin) Dalam lepak...noticed lak tiga keta Kia tak silap aku pull up kat driveway of Dewan Sivik complete ngan poster 3 Diva. Rupanya, pecah lobang meka nak wat trigger panggil the three divas onstage. Seronok dapat jumpa Kris Dayanti sebab Ruth dan Titi memang aku tak kenal and KD has been ever so sweet everytime we meet. Janji bila kak KD nampak aku dia terus, "Eh!!! Kamu da kurus!!!" Matilah rasa turun 50 kilo teros kena pujian ngan dia pujaan!!!! Didn't get to speak much to her....and seronok jumpa kak KD pas lama da (last was that konsert they had in Mont Kiara masa dia ngan Melly) tak teringat nak amik pic for memories. Takper...banyak peluang jumpa dia agik. We hung outside until time dewan nak buka. Kang aku update agik...meanwhile enjoy the pictures yang aku sempat snap.

Actually Just back from the Mini Cooper S launch ikut my sis. Dia ajak temankan dia for the launch event kat the old Subang airport. Kelas siot...wat dalam hangar and all. They definitely spent millions on the event alone. One thing's for sure aku tediam siot. Yerlah...Mini punya keta memang aku suka gila. And the new Cooper S memang meletop. But no way in hell will I be able to afford it...at least not for the next five years ler based on my financial forecast (yer yer jer kan...) So for all you rich people out there who love my blog, send in your money to me via my Maybank account which is dangerously dipping near the cut-off of the five figure mark. I'll credit the sale to you....leh? Anyway if any one you like the Mini Cooper S like I do, here are some pictures of the model from the launch earlier today.

Kalau korang nak tau...fashion show dia peragakan baju baju brand Mini Cooper. Ala...cam brand Harley Davidson ler. Tak paham aku...ada gak orang nak pakai ek... It's like that famous saying aku penah dengar (beriya je famous). Kalau kat US, tengok meka semua naik Harley tak pakai baju. They can afford the bikes, but not the clothes. Matila sini they can afford the clothes, but not the bikes. Heh! Stupid... But I suppose if you owned a Mini and bought the apparel then aku sujud gak ler. Starting price for the Mini RM195,000. Today was one of the busiest days....and I mean ever. Dari pagi berkejar nak abihkan a couple of stories I was working on. And we're talking full length features, not those short news snippets. Matilah... Not to mention my workload selain tuh also included the dateline for my column, which all had to be done and sent in by 3pm sebab nak rush lak gi assignment. Merasalah kelam kabut segalanya. Still, managed to settle everything just fine, and made it for the launch of Nikki's Maharani repackaged just in time. Kudos to Artistes United Records for the small and cosy event which understandably much of the credit went to Vernon and also Azmie. To make it short and sweet, for those yang belum beli album Nikki, here's the info on the reissue of the album yang kini ada bonus single Drama, sekali ngan dua music videos which is for Caramu featuring Zahid and also Imaginasil Collector's item tuh. Maharani is now on sale for RM15.90 for a cassette and RM29.90 tuk CD. I recommend CD (masih ada ek yang beli kaset?) because not only it features all the tracks from the album, tapi also ada sebelas remix baru (I love the new mix of Caramu), minus one dan of course the music video and lagu Drama. Then of course ada abang Badand Shonny yang wakilkan f-ter-six Records, syarikat pengurusan dan rakaman yang Diddy bernaung skang. Dua orang bloggers in Budiey dan sultanmuzaffar lak tak dapat hadirkan diri kerana tugas. Didn't take much pics sebab sibuk nak wat video, tapi last last battery laptop lak low malas nak punggah semua adapter kuar nak charge kan balik, so ended up with only a few fuzzy pics with my Nokia (kena abihkan proposal cepat tuk dapatkan phone baru yang ditaja nih) So hope you guys maapan ek sebab setakat nih jer pic yang mampu aku amik. Pas abih semua, dah semua da puas menganyam ketupat (gosip wat dosa lebih), we all decided to make a move for KLCC. Sebenarnya au tak plan nak ke mana pun cuma nak gi jalan ngan Mimi sebab bukan slalu dia turun KL. Tapi atas ajak Ning, yang sekali ngan Yanie as well abang Bad dan Shonny as well..joined them for the M.A.C Spring collection launch themed 'Barbie Loves M.A.C' kat concourse Suria KLCC. Jam sepanjang jalan....but in the end sampai je tengok..pergh!!! Meriah ok! Gawd...a lot of friends were there kalangan cosmetic industry....and member artis pun ramai. Nita, Jac, Syafinaz, Nabila, Farahdhiya, Betty Banafe, Sheila Rusly, Sharifah Shahirah... I spent most of the time with Nabila and a little more with Jac, Faradhiya and Syafinaz sebab kami make a beeline for the photo booth syok sendiri amik pics free. Had so much fun, again forgot to take more pics...so these are the few yang aku leh kongsi.

Music is beautiful, no matter what language it is in. It transcends the boundaries of race, religion, and even that of a geographical nature. Here's my list of songs from Indonesian pop and rock acts that are on my playlist, some of which are my all time favorites. Some old, some new and some just bloody timeless. Enjoy the sounds and listen beyond the music and the words - and instead tune into the emotions of each tune. No matter what genre they may be.
Say NO! to the hateful and malicious nature of some who choose to close our local music market for fear of competition simply because they are unable to compete, and unwilling to even try.
Support Malaysian music. Don't kill it by being ignorant. Music is ever evolving, and our local sound is slowing being rendered irrelevant. This is my protest against those who choose to be anti-Indonesian music, simply because SOME of our local talents and recording outfits are too lazy to innovate and create. This is the sound of Indonesia today. Are we up for the challenge to evolve and produce better music in healthy competition?

I'm simple, and yet complicated.
It's as simple as that...but then again, perhaps not.
My life is kinda like my job, an oxymoron. Try this one out for size...'ethical journalist'. See, told you so.
Anyway, here's a brief (yeah right!) intro to my life.
I'm a proud Malaysian (and I mean literally!), of Chinese descent. I'm Christian (Roman Catholic!).
I'm kinda whacked. I believe in piercings, dyed hair, black nails, silver studs. leather and spiked accessories and oh... tattoos...body art is just that...art. Apart from anything else that will make me worth staring at.
Right now, I have a total of seven piercings (three on lobes - two left one right, left ear cartilage, nose, lower lip and tongue) with three taken out on brow (one ripped) as well as three tattoos with more to come.
Forget the tough exterior, cause I believe in hugging my parents, crying when I feel like it, require tender moments with my significant other, and I appreciate my friends. As Kim from America's Next Top Model said it best. "What's my secret? I may look tough on the outside, but really, I scream like a girl!"

I 32 as of last July 17, and it's past the mid life crisis come early for me as I struggled to deal with the coming of age thing. I am working as a freelance senior entertainment journalist, a job which I have been at ever since I decided to quit college, two subjects short of graduating. I was taking my Diploma In Sound and Audio Engineering. Until recently that is.
Now I do a lot of freelance overall talent consultancy which includes image and communication. I am also in the process of starting my own company klubbkidd Sdn Bhd, which is producing its first TV show from a format that I have created myself. The show will most likely be on air sometime end 2008.
I have donelive sound production for some concerts and shows and a little bit of studio work in hopes of becoming a sound engineer with what I've studies, when I turned back to my first love, writing.
Was doing general news, specialized awhile in politics, did a little features, crime, business and sports and dabbled in related journalism fields before finally settling into my current position, thankfully, entertainment, the perks of which is doing what I've always loved (writing and indulging in music) and also backstage passes to meet my favorite acts. It's eleven years now, and I'm still golding it there.
Looking back - whatever's gone on in my life - it's not too hard to be positive and look ahead, with more pleasant of the memories to make the journey a little easier.
And these very memories which I cherish so, are the reasons behind why I started blogging.
The friendships and variety of relationships I've been through, allow me to highlight the mistakes I've made and how not to repeat them, not to compromise my principles too much for love, and also a balance in sacrificing my ego, and how I must learn to be stronger in the face of adversity.
So I've never figured myself to be a real hoot.I pace on day by day, occasionally skipping, sometimes with just a little jaunty bounce. More often than not, I go smack! either on my rear end (which needs more meat) or flat on my face.Life treats me well, I suppose, so I shouldn't gripe. I am stll my own hero - that's positivity through self-affirmation for you.

Aku takleh terima yang ada mengatakan this version of Menuju Puncak kicks ass when it's so sucky and horrible. It inspired the third rate choreography we see, and honestly I don't blame Linda Jasmine at all because no one could choreograph that tune into something spectacular.
Oh by the way, before I end this posting, saja nak letak pic ni. I snapped this masa gi supper with a group of friends lepas the concert.
