Siang tadi memang keletihan sebab dok ofis to finish my work until early morning. Hasilnya bangun da lewat sangat. Tak sempat make it for the press conference untuk mereka yang dah terkeluar dari Konsert Prelude. Tapi no hal...sebab selepas beberapa musim ikut the routine, aku da tau nak wat apa dah. Seolah annual ritual. Lepak ngan meka (sekali ngan Wan dan Adi dari Maestro). Tima kasih bebanyak ler pada presiden Dazzling Diddy FC, Hafiz dan geng kat Astro as well as Nila, ZZ dan juga si Nana from ERA sebab melayan bosan. Bukan apa...aku bukan nak interview ramai-ramai, tapi cuma Tasha...yerlah interview ramai-ramai pun sama je komen. Skema katanya. "Sedih la...tapi dah takde rezeki....gembira untuk kawan-kawan yang berjaya...saya akan terus buat yang terbaik selepas ini...etc" So lepak kat Astro dan last-last berpindah ke konti ERA lepak sekali tunggu Nila dan Nana bertukar shift. Yang dijadualkan interview ari tadi si Hazama, Leez, Tasha dan Jeff. Bebudak nampak segan tak berani tegur sangat, walaupun nampak ler on and off nak bersyara tegur aku. Aku lak sebab banyak keja...dan juga dibelenggu kebosanan tak sembang sangat. Sempat interview Tasha after sesi kat ERA. Balik office nak wat keja sat, tuned into the first day punya diary. Memang terpegun tengok ler kecantikan set Akademi Fantasia kali ni. Tak sabar sebenarnya nak lawat Akademi nak bandingkan ngan yang musim-musim lepas yang dapat aku lawat. Tapi kalau ikutkan how it looks, grand abih. Yerlah kan...pakai gudang lama...tempat besar...tapi nampaknya banyak ler pengubahsuaian meka lakukan kat gudang tuh. It looks absolutely fabulous!!! Cuma some places of the Akademi looks a little bare. But dalam teruja gak melihat Akademi, my irritation level immediately rose. Pada permulaan dah aku tak tahan da ngan residen (dia ke...orang kat office semua pasang music and were chatting so loudly tak dapat pastikan) yang muka versi Sahri ni. "Jangan bagi cikgu-cikgu menunggu awak semua, awak semua menunggu dia tak apa" Are you kidding? Skrip bebudak apa ni? Cmon! It's just so silly...baru dua minit bebudak melangkah masuk je tengah nak pasang that messy wire and bits of their mic pack dah membebel cam makcik Bibah dapat ikan tak segar. Ko lak dah nak enter frame. Next scene further decrese my level of patience. Walaupun aku rasa betina-betina gersang mesti merembes tengok Fazley, I thought he was just out of place and too obnoxious in memberikan the whole explaination of sapa fungsi apa dalam Akademi. Hello...Ramli Sarip tuh pengetua...bukan ko. Tauler nak sapa multitasker of the year, but seriously, dude...lay off! That's not your job. Tak sampai 30 saat je...teringat aku cikgu EE dari musim lepas yang dok menyibuk tugasan tenaga pengajar lain. And what was that motivational crap he was spewing? "Tiga kawan baik anda...NIHA - niat dan halatuju, RAMIN - rancang dan minat dan terakhir KABER kaji semula etc..." KABER ni aku tak dengar abih...entah apa dia katakan seterusnya sebab next scene Umi yang bercakap. Editing power ni...ke aku miss sebab tak penting langsung apa yang dikatakan oleh Fazley. Pastu bak kata seorang kawan, dia role playing lak jadik pak imam...sesuai ke? Shift focus sat...untuk aku Ramli Sarip belum teruji dalam kedudukan sebagai pengetua. Dia memang nampak very fatherly and all...but I wonder if that's what they really need in a principal. I have mixed reactions towards most of them...the only ones I have no reservations about is Linda, Umi...and Corrie and even Ajai. Yang lain...erm...I dunno. Astro has its motivation in doing a lot of things, though they always come out with very diplomatic answers. I leave it up to sesapa ler nak judge whatever...malas... As for tugasan? Ini lagu-lagu tugasan bagi minggu pertama Akademi Fantasia. Nampaknya, Akademi Fantasia dah memulakan jejak nak mengikut siri Idol dengan minggu bertema diadakan buat kali pertama. The first week's assignments will be a tribute kepada seniman agung Allahyarham Tan Sri P.Ramlee dan bduanita negara Allahyarham Puan Sri Saloma bersempena dengan hari perginya Allahyarham Tan Sri P.Ramlee ke Rahmatullah pada 29 Mei 1973. Lagu-lagu tugasan adalah seperti berikut :

as for malay mail's report...you agree it did happen right? it was in the middle of the night, and the 'error' was rectified immediately as the clearing was done past 2am come press time. better than other papers who didn't acknowledge it happened...

fazley ada menyebut beliau telah diberi tugas untuk memperkenalkan tenaga pengajar. jadi bukan dia yang terhegeh-hegeh nak buat tugasan itu.
keduanya, scene residen menyuruh semua pelajar siap cepat. sebenarnya kita tak tahu berapa lama aktiviti memasang mic pack itu berlaku sebab apa yang ditunjukkan adalah edited scene dan bukan 2 minit seperti yang awak sebut.
seperkara lagi, saya terbaca semalam laporan muka pertama malay mail olih joe lee (anda?). bagaimanakah penulis boleh melaporkan benda yang salah sedangkan siapa jua yang menonton tahu bahawa, bekas pelajar af sedang membuat persembahan semasa black out berlaku DAN BUKAN SEDANG MENUJU KEPENTAS. mungkin penulis mempunyai black out sendiri dan sebab itu tak tahu apa yang berlaku dipentas.
moralnya disini, kita semua tak boleh percaya wartawan 100% sebab mereka ada keupayaan untuk melapurkan benda yang salah.

Support Malaysian music. Don't kill it by being ignorant. Music is ever evolving, and our local sound is slowing being rendered irrelevant. This is my protest against those who choose to be anti-Indonesian music, simply because SOME of our local talents and recording outfits are too lazy to innovate and create. So...just what do you want to know about me?
I'm simple, and yet complicated.
It's as simple as that...but then again, perhaps not.
My life is kinda like my job, an oxymoron. Try this one out for size...'ethical journalist'. See, told you so.
Anyway, here's a brief (yeah right!) intro to my life.
I'm a proud Malaysian (and I mean literally!), of Chinese descent. I'm Christian (Roman Catholic!).
I'm kinda whacked. I believe in piercings, dyed hair, black nails, silver studs. leather and spiked accessories and oh... tattoos...body art is just that...art. Apart from anything else that will make me worth staring at.
Right now, I have a total of seven piercings (three on lobes - two left one right, left ear cartilage, nose, lower lip and tongue) with three taken out on brow (one ripped) as well as three tattoos with more to come.
Forget the tough exterior, cause I believe in hugging my parents, crying when I feel like it, require tender moments with my significant other, and I appreciate my friends. As Kim from America's Next Top Model said it best. "What's my secret? I may look tough on the outside, but really, I scream like a girl!"

I 32 as of last July 17, and it's past the mid life crisis come early for me as I struggled to deal with the coming of age thing. I am working as a freelance senior entertainment journalist, a job which I have been at ever since I decided to quit college, two subjects short of graduating. I was taking my Diploma In Sound and Audio Engineering. Until recently that is.
Now I do a lot of freelance overall talent consultancy which includes image and communication. I am also in the process of starting my own company klubbkidd Sdn Bhd, which is producing its first TV show from a format that I have created myself. The show will most likely be on air sometime end 2008.
I have donelive sound production for some concerts and shows and a little bit of studio work in hopes of becoming a sound engineer with what I've studies, when I turned back to my first love, writing.
Was doing general news, specialized awhile in politics, did a little features, crime, business and sports and dabbled in related journalism fields before finally settling into my current position, thankfully, entertainment, the perks of which is doing what I've always loved (writing and indulging in music) and also backstage passes to meet my favorite acts. It's eleven years now, and I'm still golding it there.
Looking back - whatever's gone on in my life - it's not too hard to be positive and look ahead, with more pleasant of the memories to make the journey a little easier.
And these very memories which I cherish so, are the reasons behind why I started blogging.
The friendships and variety of relationships I've been through, allow me to highlight the mistakes I've made and how not to repeat them, not to compromise my principles too much for love, and also a balance in sacrificing my ego, and how I must learn to be stronger in the face of adversity.
So I've never figured myself to be a real hoot.I pace on day by day, occasionally skipping, sometimes with just a little jaunty bounce. More often than not, I go smack! either on my rear end (which needs more meat) or flat on my face.Life treats me well, I suppose, so I shouldn't gripe. I am stll my own hero - that's positivity through self-affirmation for you.
