Just a few hours before Konsert Prelude, ni sikit lagik pasal salah satu calon antara 20 peserta harapan Akademi Fantasia musim keempat. Kali ni, tak lain tak bukan, I wanted to post mengenai Tasha. This has been on the forums lama da, cuma kira save the best for last ler kan. Semua da tau Tasha tu awek Aqasha. Yerlah...nak kata spekulasi pun...ramai da ngaku jadik eyewitness meka berkepit....myspace memasing pun top of the list, sorang agik tuh. So I guess it's not too hard to figure out. Cam one of the guys in the msjbox said ler...bila ler Akademi Fantasia nak wat kejutan. Well seriously....she's not exactly one of my favourites. In fact...antara para perempuan...kira haus gak suara dia. Definitely not one of the best of the ten girls vying for place nak masuk Akademi. Merasalah lurah dendam nasi lemak 50 sen tanpa lauk! Yang best pic tuh yang aku kalakar sikit...I mean Tasha and Fasha...what a tongue twister...NOT! Anyways, listing down ther the ones who can actually sing (tolak ketepi kalau harapkan setakat rupa) Tasha is not exactly top of the list. I mean she looks like a nice gal and all...tapi seriously...I don't know kalau tu cukup nak layakkan dia masuk. Siapa yang akan layak? Well...kalau ikutkan apa yang aku dengarkan...and perlihatkan dan perdengarkan dari preview hari itu dan juga dari Tirai Akademi Fantasia, ini senarai aku rasa patut layak kerana mempunyai pakej lengkap untuk masuk ke Akademi Fantasia. My top twelve is : untuk bebudak lelaki, Amirul, Rich, Faizal, Diddy, Lotter dan Haziq. Antara bebudak perempuan, the girls I think rock are, Farhan. Karen, Velvet, Liya, Lynn dan Zila. Tasha memang aku tak berkenan because I think she doesn't sound half as good as she looks, while Salima ni, leh challenge ngan Nora sebenarnya nak jadi ratu airmata. Kalau ikutkan Debaran Akademi Fantasia, pun leh dengarkan vokal dia jauh sangat standard. Jangan ler sebab pakai tudung lak ramai yang suka. Cam aku kata...ni bukan Pengacara Jemputan Nona! Aku pilih Zila sebab aku rasa dia ada potential...bukan sebab cam separuh orang yang wat camtuh sebab kesiankan kerana dia budak Felda dan mak bapak toreh getah. Undi ler untuk sebab yang betul... Aku rasa kalau lain pun senarai yang layak malam ni...tak jauh beza ler dari apa aku predict because most of them are quite apparent sapa will make it and sapa won't. Guess aku untuk Haziq layak...mungkin tersasar kalau Hazama layak. Antara dua. Yang outisder for the chance is Shaz and Jeff. Haider je aku rasa takkan get through because tahun lepas dia shine sebab lack of competition...this year ramai lagik yang leh nyanyi...so mungkin atas faktor kesian leh kot. Pompuan...outsiders are Tasha, Salima and Leez...even though I think jauh sangat standard meka... Well...we'll see. Pada mereka yang akan ke Studio 1 di Astro, jumpa petang ni. Apapun sementara anggota keluarga aku in abang Badrul, sultanmuzaffar and Fiebie memperjuankan Dazzling Diddy FC, aku akan melaungkan sokongan aku untuk F&F...Faizal dan Farhan! Balik Astro malam Sabtu lepas serempak bebudak abih rehearsal. Semua lambai...eee...rasa bersalah lak wat senyuman plastik...yerlaa...tanak bunuh semangat meka yang aku rasa hopeless....well good luck lor. Support Malaysian music. Don't kill it by being ignorant. Music is ever evolving, and our local sound is slowing being rendered irrelevant. This is my protest against those who choose to be anti-Indonesian music, simply because SOME of our local talents and recording outfits are too lazy to innovate and create. So...just what do you want to know about me?
I'm simple, and yet complicated.
It's as simple as that...but then again, perhaps not.
My life is kinda like my job, an oxymoron. Try this one out for size...'ethical journalist'. See, told you so.
Anyway, here's a brief (yeah right!) intro to my life.
I'm a proud Malaysian (and I mean literally!), of Chinese descent. I'm Christian (Roman Catholic!).
I'm kinda whacked. I believe in piercings, dyed hair, black nails, silver studs. leather and spiked accessories and oh... tattoos...body art is just that...art. Apart from anything else that will make me worth staring at.
Right now, I have a total of seven piercings (three on lobes - two left one right, left ear cartilage, nose, lower lip and tongue) with three taken out on brow (one ripped) as well as three tattoos with more to come.
Forget the tough exterior, cause I believe in hugging my parents, crying when I feel like it, require tender moments with my significant other, and I appreciate my friends. As Kim from America's Next Top Model said it best. "What's my secret? I may look tough on the outside, but really, I scream like a girl!"

I 32 as of last July 17, and it's past the mid life crisis come early for me as I struggled to deal with the coming of age thing. I am working as a freelance senior entertainment journalist, a job which I have been at ever since I decided to quit college, two subjects short of graduating. I was taking my Diploma In Sound and Audio Engineering. Until recently that is.
Now I do a lot of freelance overall talent consultancy which includes image and communication. I am also in the process of starting my own company klubbkidd Sdn Bhd, which is producing its first TV show from a format that I have created myself. The show will most likely be on air sometime end 2008.
I have donelive sound production for some concerts and shows and a little bit of studio work in hopes of becoming a sound engineer with what I've studies, when I turned back to my first love, writing.
Was doing general news, specialized awhile in politics, did a little features, crime, business and sports and dabbled in related journalism fields before finally settling into my current position, thankfully, entertainment, the perks of which is doing what I've always loved (writing and indulging in music) and also backstage passes to meet my favorite acts. It's eleven years now, and I'm still golding it there.
Looking back - whatever's gone on in my life - it's not too hard to be positive and look ahead, with more pleasant of the memories to make the journey a little easier.
And these very memories which I cherish so, are the reasons behind why I started blogging.
The friendships and variety of relationships I've been through, allow me to highlight the mistakes I've made and how not to repeat them, not to compromise my principles too much for love, and also a balance in sacrificing my ego, and how I must learn to be stronger in the face of adversity.
So I've never figured myself to be a real hoot.I pace on day by day, occasionally skipping, sometimes with just a little jaunty bounce. More often than not, I go smack! either on my rear end (which needs more meat) or flat on my face.Life treats me well, I suppose, so I shouldn't gripe. I am stll my own hero - that's positivity through self-affirmation for you.
